  1. Naturally there comes a point where one gets sick of bad habits/ the way one lives life. However, I have found this "sickness" to be short-lived and the consequence being very easily slipping back into the old life and bad habits. How do I make a lasting change here? Awareness alone is curative, but I am not aware enough. Learning equals behaviour change, but I obviously haven't learned yet - is there a less painful way to learn instead of fueling them until I am so sick I have to make a 180 change?
  2. ~10 hours of PC a day, masturbation, abusing coffee. That's mostly it. Plus reliving the same things and propagating certain behavioural patterns.
  3. Harmful, yes. Destructive, no.
  4. Iron Loo, Ken Wilber, and some yogi, any realised master will do
  5. Smart. Thank you. My room and its environment design is a lair of damnation.
  6. Thank you all for replying to a kind of a low-quality thread. I felt like I just needed to post at that exact moment without elaborating too much. @JonasVE12 You answer is super insightful. Thank you so much. You are right, but I wouldn't know how to resolve those conflicts. There is definitely a fear of success, which has been revealed to me after some contemplation time after time. @LastThursday Thank you for this. There areonly 24 hours in a day - idle hands are the devil's workshop But how does one work on this, dammit?
  7. All of these values are super broad and contain sub-values within them as well. Beauty, after some contemplation, is embodied, experienced when you raise your consciousness enough to see Beauty manifest every single moment. But it also includes practical guidelines to orient your life towards more beauty . It also involves getting in touch what you don't want. Those things naturally fall off when the value is embodied. Just imagine a life in which you're following this value.
  8. Hi. (or a situational opener)
  9. If you want to start a quality topic, don't just post a video thats 50+ minutes long without saying anything.
  10. There is nothing to lose because nothing is yours. Be free.
  11. time for a value-aligned dating app Growth look into this, there is trauma behind this value."Perfection" as well might hint to unmet needs. for me it's 1. Consciousness 2. Fearlessness (courage/equanimity, it's nuanced ) 3. Passion 4. Love 5. Truth (under which is honesty) 6. Beauty (very important! but I have fallen out of touch with this value so much, that only now I remember to write it, 6th place, tsk) and the rest are auxiliary, really. I do try to live by these values and they subconsciously shape my choices and the way I spend my day but the striving is very mediocre. Time to contemplate values again.
  12. @Michael569 Thank you for the elaborate posts!
  13. Have you considered it being purely a behavioural correlation / periodontal infections as signs of poor health?
  14. Do you claim all plant-based diets are nutrient deficient? Can you elaborate?
  15. Can you expound on this a little bit more? Thank you.
  16. IME and many others' - women hop from one relationship for another like its nothing.
  17. I ask not for lighter burdens, but for broader shoulders
  18. Because it's the best thing ever and you can put funny react on every message for a little dopamine spike! :redpill:
  19. To first answer your previous post, no, not masturbating is not bad for your health. It's a myth. Ancient traditions have been using non-ejaculation and celibacy as a means to achieve liberation for thousands of years. I started it in 2017, maybe being able to get to 45 day streaks max in the beginning. From Feb '18, I abstained for a full year. Then I started being sexually active, learned about semen retention, taoist sex, non-ejaculatory orgasms and my path started being more about working with subtle energies rather than mere askesis.
  20. Nofap got me into semen retention, which in turn got me into energy work. I think it's a net positive movement since porn is so rampant.
  21. This might be useful: also: very interesting study!
