  1. Hello - Can anyone tell me how anger can be used appropriately - if at all? I am coming from Jesus. Turn the other cheek, resist not evil - these principles have served me yet any concept has limitation. When is it right to be righteous? How can this emotion be used? What is a positive / negative example? I am pursuing sports at a high level and am becoming aware of the game within the game - the stage red hierarchy that the club is structured upon. What resources are useful for understanding human nature, how to deal with challenges (shit testing from males) without being dragged into lower states of consciousness? Is love the only answer?
  2. Understand the value of community - Join an organization (sporting team, anything) with a common goal. Learn how to interact with multiple ego's and help them to become better people (If you have yellow, this is applied systems thinking) Read the new testament and embody jesus teachings (Sermon on the mount) Tony Robbins for your work ethic. Good luck
  3. Personally I am struggling to reconcile the idea of No Self - Inaction - Meekness in such an environment - As allowing others to walk over you suggests that you are incapable of playing at a high level as it gives the impression that you will crumble during game time. I have the bhagavad gita which I will re read - I think that spirituality has more application than ham fisting sermon on the mount into every scenario.
  4. Hey man - the best advice I apply every day comes from Jesus ''Blessed are the poor in spirit for their's is the kingdom of heaven'' Let go, let go, let go of every thought you ever have and step into the present. From there reality will unfold.
  5. @Leo Gura what examples did you step outside your lane and be incorrect?
  6. Hey guys, what do you think this parable means? 22 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3 He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come. 4 “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’ 5 “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6 The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7 The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. 8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9 So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10 So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. 11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12 He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless. 13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.” The banquet (kingdom of heaven - present moment - being offered to all) and the man without wedding clothes (attention to detail, honoring the lord - respect for his graciousness) will be cast out into the weeping of gnashing teeth (misery, self inflicted suffering due to absence of mind) Any other opinions appreciated
  7. The invitation is the now - the chosen... is either an act of grace or a chosen karmic inheritance to surrender your ego and replace with consciousness? The field - awareness
  8. “There is no crime of which I do not deem myself capable.” ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Once you realize your ego is capable of these things, you have the ability to choose rather than obey the conditioned mind.
  9. I love Tony Robbins. For someone to produce so much content and dedicate his life to service of others is incredible. Much love to the man. U 2 Leo haha
  10. Good job man. Have you noticed life occurring as you observe it, rather than trying to think it?
  11. @Leo Gura Crazy man. That's like our limitation to perceive a limited number of frequencies, when there are infinite amounts.
  12. Let it go. Don't be dependent on others opinions to manage your internal state. Live life your own way.
  13. Yo. This morning I came back from holiday and one of our two cats was missing. Instead of freaking out I applied Jesus teachings: - ''Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. & -'' "Lord, don't trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. '' I prayed that the cat was already safe and on his way home. A few hours later there he was. I know this can be dismissed as luck, bullshit, whatever. But there are so many negative alternatives that could've happened that didn't - so I wanted to see what you guys think of the idea of ''faith'' and it's role in manifestation.
  14. @SoonHei Haha much love man. Appreciate the confirmation. Namaste
  15. @Leo Gura Talk shit!! What about that confidence after your 5meo bender
  16. Hey guys, Been in an ego backlash for a good 3 weeks now. No interest in meditation and finding it super difficult after doing it for 3+ years consistently. My question is - could it actually be beneficial for me to drop it entirely and focus on materialism (orange values) to I can build up a strong ego that I can transcend? Or would dabbling in meditation actually hinder my progress? I'm imagining the analogy of trying to drain a glass (meditating) with something that is already diluted (weak ego) so I'm not getting the real benefit. Of course I could be rationalizing to avoid work. I could rebuild it with shorter sessions. Thoughts?
  17. Damn, he was really smooth in that interaction. Nice to watch socially adept people.
  18. I have a feeling I want to go off and get wild, instead of being so disciplined and doing the same routine that i've been thrashing for the last few years. Prodigal son vibe.
  19. @WonderSeeker A new job that I'm not crazy about, frustration with personal issues, lack of great socialization and a general fed up attitude towards self improvement in general. Spiral dynamic theory - integrate and transcend, lack of definite career path. And nah, I've just been doing concentration based (20x2 per day) with some guided releases from transformation mastery sprinkled in.
  20. Yo yo, sorry for posting this thread again after a while but I'm genuinely going to do it this time. I re watched ''30 ways society fucks you in the ass'' video and I'm deciding to do a 7 day retreat. Fully committed. My question is - has anyone done it in a motel room? I'm considering doing it as it's way cheaper, but do you just sit inside for 7 days? Briefly going out to get some sun or go for a walk? Alternatives are cabins in the woods which cost more but are secluded. Thanks in advance.
  21. Why do I only want what I can't have? What is the point of having things I don't want?
  22. If your conscious enough love is the most powerful tool. If not... just ''resist not evil''. Don't engage in anything bad, reward good behaviour. People act like that to get a reaction out of you. Chances are he's looking for significance through dominance, or certainty in others reactions to his nastiness. By being unphased you take away both rewards which'll remove his dopamine spike. From there you can make him feel significant, or certain with positive responses. This is essentially manipulation so I'm not sure how nice this is... but it's an improvement over his bullying? Not sure what to make of it.
