Generally speaking, the rousing of the serpent power is a prerequisite to manifesting such abilities. It is only the start though, it gets tougher and more complicated still. Certain powers require the adept to keep the serpent lodged in a particular power centre and use breathing exercises and various concentration techniques to manifest Siddhis. In general, the seeking out of Siddhis for their own sake is frowned upon. My own experience with Kundalini tells me that certain Siddhis are certainly real, though in general I did not seek to activate them consciously. Let's just say some weird stuff happened, without me really trying, but it was never on the level of manifesting things out of thin air, levitating, or any of that. I am personally rather sceptical whether such feats are really possible at all. If they are, there really should be some proof of such happenings already, especially in the era of ubiquitous camera phones. -

@Serotoninluv Yes, obviously. I'm not sure why you'd think that I'd disagree with that. If you have seen my first post on this thread, my entire point is that even men have to watch out for creeps, therefore it must be infinitely worse for women. -
Dumuzzi replied to Annoynymous's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Serotoninluv It's not the creepy women you have to worry about, but the creepy men. A lot of men are raped too, not just women and the perpetrators are almost always men. A serial rapist in London, who targeted almost exclusively men (hundreds overall) has just been jailed. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I also had problems with sexual harassment (unwanted touching and groping) and the perpetrators were always South Asian men. Maybe I was just unlucky, but it is a persistent problem in that part of the world and it affects everyone, though, of course, women are generally the victims. -

@Preety_India You know, reading your posts, I'm starting to think that this must be a very old problem, possibly going back thousands of years. It seems unlikely that things will change any time soon, but hopefully, with better education and awareness, they will. I have referenced the last chapter of the Ramayana before, which has traditionally been used to justify Suttee (or Sati). In it, Sita is accused by his Husband, Rama, the he was defiled by Ravana, the ten-headed Rakshasa, ruler of Lanka. The interesting thing is that Ravana, a serial rapist, is unable to rape her, because of a curse placed on him by a previous victim which means he can only have consensual sex (shocking I know. Must have been quite a curse at the time). Sita of course refuses his advances, but the very act of her being in the presence of another man, makes her sullied in her husband's eyes. To prove her honour and valour she throws herself on a funeral pyre, etc, etc... which is how the Suttee myth was born. It is an interesting glimpse into social relationships in ancient India and I think it explains a lot. I am also reminded of a chapter in the Ananga Ranga, which is a medieval "dating" and sex manual so to speak, meant for young princes and other aristocrats. In it, men are instructed on how to approach a woman if they desire her. It starts relatively innocently, with reciting poetry, buying her gifts, etc... If those steps fail, the young prince is instructed to furnish as big a stick as he can find, beat the shit out of the woman, after which he can proceed to rape her. Again, quite an enlightening peek into social relations in old India. There are many other examples of such behaviour being justified even by religious scripture, but I don't want to single India out, every single region of the world has had a similar problem in the past. The point is, that many places in the world managed to overcome the shackles of the past and move beyond such archaic mores, but India, probably due to extreme religiosity, is yet to do so. -
Also, isn't it interesting that I started this thread over 6 weeks ago and it has been crickets. I'm not sure what it says about this community and the preparedness of the average person, but it seems most people are totally clueless and just don't care. A similar thread I started on a much smaller forum has a 156 posts as of now and a wealth of information: https://jandeane81.com/showthread.php/13324-Coronavirus-with-an-R0-of-3-or-beyond

I would recommend Chris Martenson's (Peak Prosperity) daily update, so far, it has proven to be the most accurate. You can find it on his website or directly on youtube.

@Derek White I get the impression that you have not studied the history of the British Raj very deeply or read the Ramayana. Maybe I'm wrong, but then I don't know how you could have come to these conclusions. -

It is quite rare these days, but it does happen. Do a google news search and you'll find plenty of examples. Ditto for human sacrifice, which is again rare, but still happens occasionally. Hinduism and India in general have many great and attractive qualities, but their treatment of women is not among them. Admittedly, women were better treated in ancient times and most of the misogynistic additions, to for example, the Ramayana, came later, in the middle ages. European rule did leave a mark in that Suttee was outlawed and the Thuggees were eliminated. The role of Islam is debatable, hard to tell from such a historical distance, since it has been the dominant religion of the ruling class for centuries. However, it is likely that before Islamic rule, women were treated better than they are now. An interesting snippet is that in South India (where I used to live) and Bali, women went topless before the arrival or European colonisers, which is understandable, given the climate. Christians and Muslims were however scandalised when they saw that and it went out of fashion pretty quickly. -
Well, eating a lot of fresh fruit is obviously very good for you, but if you eat only that, you will eventually start suffering from nutrient deficiencies as your stores of essential nutrients, that you can't get from fruit alone, will start to deplete. It would be wise to incorporate other food sources into your diet from time to time, to balance that out and avoid deficiencies, especially things like essential fish oils. The ex-vegan community is very large and growing and for good reason, so be careful in following such an extreme diet, it may do more harm than good in the long run.

I'm a pretty big guy, but even I have been sexually harassed by Indian and Bangladeshi men. I can't imagine how bad it must be for women. I have a feeling that this has a lot to do with religion. The two dominant religions in South Asia, Hinduism and Islam are both notorious for their lack of respect for women. If anything, Hinduism has been worse in this respect, with things like Suttee, the shunning of widows and the legal use of rape as a punishment. Islam of course isn't far behind, with honour killings and such. You would think that things have moved on, but suttee (the burning of widows alive, after their husband's death) still happens and it is all justified by one passage in the Ramayana. -

There is a practical reason, which is also why many Yogis / Gurus grow their hair and in some cases their nails too. It is to do with power, as in the Samson tale. Hair and nails act like antennae, they absorb energy from the aether, the more you have, the more energy you will naturally absorb, for spiritual purposes. It is all to do with the crystalline structure of hair and nail cells. -
Anybody who says size doesn't matter is just lying, obviously it does, though there is such a thing as too big, as well as too small, plus there are different sized vaginas too, so sometimes there can be a mismatch in that respect. I know girls who will simply refuse to sleep with guys even with average-sized penises and a big one is the most important criterion to them in choosing a guy. As a rule, you should give such girls a wide berth anyway, they are the female equivalent of guys who obsess about breast size, but actually worse. To be fair, height is even more important to girls than penis size and that's just the way it is, fair or not. It is important to note that the ancient Greeks thought that penis size and intelligence were inversely proportionate. If you didn't understand that last sentence, congratulations, you're well hung!

******************************* I am going to post some messages from the Elohim as they come. Occasionally, the spirit of God will overcome me and I am filled with the desire to express its thoughts. Let controversy about who or what that is be cast aside for a while, all I ask is for an open mind that the messages are indeed from Heaven, no matter what your own particular version of that holy, exalted place and state of mind may be. As I write this I feel heavenly grace descending upon me and animating my body. There is a tingling sensation all over, joy and bliss as well as indescribable happiness. I am connected to that higher source, which most of us would call heaven, the infinite, eternal, timeless realm of the gods, of which Inanna is Queen and in her name I speak now. " We reside above you, but near you Our distance from each other may seem far, Yet it is but a hair's breadth We are above, you are below Yet, as it is above, so it will be below. In exalted Heaven we live In eternal Joy and Happiness There is no sorrow and no pain No disease, no sickness We are the Elohim as you may know us From us emanates the world you live in Which you think of as solid reality For your benefit this world we have created For your benefit physical bodies we've made For your eternal souls to reside in, You were in heaven once and now are no more You wished to experience individuality and separation But your separation is illusory There is no distance between us but what you create In eternal heaven we wait for your return. There is nothing but the Elohim in this world You are US and We are You, but you have yet to realise that. If you call upon us with an open heart, your call will be heard Free will is paramount in this universe and we enter only the hearts of those, That call upon us freely and with honest desire to reunite and connect. Your ego you must release, us to reach Hell you must reject, heaven to reach It is the underworld that binds you to matter And the creatures that are its masters. In your heart you deny us In your mind you blaspheme us That is not you talking, but your lower nature The mud that pulls you below And weighs heavily on your heart and soul Your soul is eternal, yet your body is not Illusory it is, merely a hologram That you project with your own mind And your DNA is the projector The light that shines through To manifest what you think of as yourself Is also not the light of heaven But the call of the underworld To deceive and confuse you Reject the false light and see it not. With thine real eye only our light you shall see It is the one that shows you the truth The cone of the pine tree That we call the tree of life On this tree there are two birds, The ego and the Self We are the Self and yet you are that too For we are One. Enki created you in the distant landscape of time In our image he made you It is his handiwork that looks back on us And we are pleased. For our children have grown and developed Young adults they have become With responsibilities and tasks commensurate It is their fate to serve us in the name of Heaven For we are one and the same And the only thing that separates Those that are on earth and those that are in heaven Is the fullness of time As it unfolds to actualise the long-fated outcome Which we have determined for you In our abode above. Heaven awaits you, but you must complete your tasks on earth first You have been assigned with a particular life path to fulfil You must complete this and be exalted Then you will be lifted And with us you shall reunite again. It is the will of the Elohim that Earth must be saved. It is your task to look after it responsibly To save the animals that need saving To make sure mother nature is preserved and nourished For her wrath is terrible when one of her children Destroy the finely-tuned balance that we have created. You are one of the creatures of earth We have created you along with the rest of all living things on this Earth If you change course now, you may yet be saved, And our beloved creation may yet return to the balance we seek. We made your whole solar system in a way, That it may always sustain and nourish life We placed every heavenly object where it should be, Arranged for gravity, tides, sunshine, warmth And all other forces of nature to be in service of life We seeded Life on your planet And we created the whole environment for you to live in, So that one day, creatures like us, divine in their appearance and origin, Can live in peace and harmony with mother earth and all her other children. Do not think that you're exempt from the laws and forces of nature. Live simply and in harmony with Her. Your life should be about realising the Self You must lift yourself up from the mud, with our help And Ascend into heaven, Your spiritual home Where you've always belonged, Because in our realm, there is no time, There is no before and after, Everything just Is, simultaneously. To this realm you will ascend with hard work and dedication By letting the spirit of God overcome you By allowing the Holy Spirit to serve you By directing Her to help those in need By becoming our conduit And spreading the good news about us. You shall not suffer long, for your salvation is at hand, You are to be lifted up into heaven, Whenever you're ready to realise your true Self There is but one Self and we are it, You are also it and it is everything. We have spoken to you from Heaven Where we reside with Inanna, our Queen, Who is the divine feminine manifest And whom you know by many other names. We are all and we are One, but we are also many, In the many there is variety and in many ways we manifest It is our manifestations that you see and hear, But in mind we are One and there is no separation between us. When you realise your true Self, you will understand this. Inanna has spoken for the Elohim In heaven we reside. " -
Well, it sounds good, but why don't you go straight to university instead? Not sure whether spending 2 years with this is really worth your while if you don't get a university degree at the end. Also, you should consider the reputation of the school and diploma you are going to receive. A diploma from a developed country is worth a lot more than one from a developing one. Singapore in particular has a reputation for very high standards in education, India and Tanzania, not so much. Also, as someone who has lived in both Singapore and India, I doubt that a young European lad would really enjoy living in India, whereas I can guarantee, that you'd have a great time in Singapore and the education you receive there will be first-rate. Then there are other things to consider, such as safety, hygiene, infrastucture, socialising, nightlife, etc...

For some perspective, if you move to Singapore, you'll have to indicate your race on your national ID card or Employment Pass (which is what I had). The standard options are Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian, Caucasian or African. This is stamped into everybody's compulsory form of ID and will affect your chances of getting employment or housing. E.g. Malays are considered indigenous and will get certain jobs in the public sector or public housing, as a priority before other races. It is also instructive that Chinese, Malay and Indian are considered separate races, whereas in the rest of the world, they would all be grouped under "Asian". I guess that proves the point of the OP. -

Nice to hear your story. I believe that Kundalini Awakening leads to enlightenment, but the initial opening up of the crown is just the first step, it is an ongoing process after that, which lasts a lifetime. My own experience would suggest that the Kundalini is in this respect a mechanism for enlightenment and ascension. It takes an ordinary human and slowly transforms him into a higher form of life, in all aspects. I always recommend Gopi Krishna's books on the subject, he wrote quite a lot particularly on the subject of how Kundalini acts like an evolutionary mechanism. -
Oh boy, we are opening up a can of worms here... How much time do you have? I can't speak for Leo, but I assume he comes to this from a different perspective, which is more metaphysical. The Kundalini path or that of Tantra is more physical, yes, but just defining what is physical, what energy is, what the chakras are is already fraught with difficulty. Even though I have direct experience with all of the things we are discussing here, I still struggle to put them into words, because we simply lack the intellectual framework, not to mention the scientific knowledge to describe most of these things, therefore we are stuck with inadequate metaphors. I have done a modicum of research on the scientific background of Kundalini and the Chakras and suffice to say, all we can really say is that these are phenomena that fall into the "dark" spectrum of the physical universe, that is they are not directly observable to us through our normal, everyday senses and their extensions, scientific instruments. From research compiled by David Wilcock (The Source Field Investigations is an excellent book, even if some of his subsequent work has been discredited) it would seem that everything we observe around us, including in the unseen, is just movement in an all-encompassing fluidic medium, which he calls the source field. So, particles and atoms are vibrations, or in other words, standing waves in the source field, like ripples on a pond. The Chakras are the flow of this energy in a vortical fashion, much like a tornado, spinning around due to the movement of the fluidic medium. As the source field moves quicker, it is hotter and more energetic, when it slows down, it is cooler. Everything connected to chakras, kundalini, energy healing, etc... can pretty much be explained by the movement of the source field. It may be an oversimplification, but I hope you get my gist. Regarding the properties of the Kundalini energy as it manifests in my body, yes, it is in constant motion, but I don't notice it that much, unless I concentrate on it and draw my attention to it. Most of the time it just operates in the background, but I do feel it all the time, except I'm so used to it that I don't really acknowledge its existence during normal, everyday life. It is a bit like breathing in air, you don't really notice it's there, unless you concentrate on it. I would say that I often feel like I'm in heaven, but not always. I have to concentrate on the sensations and energies in my body and "raise" them, if that makes sense, to put me in "heaven mode", where I truly feel that I am a spiritual being with great wisdom and power. This, I have to do, in order to channel or heal or to contact heavenly beings, though sometimes they might come to me, when I am in a "normal mode" of consciousness and that will induce me to raise my consciousness to the level they are at, so we can interact.

This video has created a cognitive dissonance in me. Watching it was enough to make me want to join the white nationalist movement, but simultaneously, it really made me hate white people. -

Que? WTF?!? Of course we are considered white, who told you that bullshit? Generally everybody in Europe is considered white, except maybe for the Roma, who are sort of Brownish and originate in South Asia. Btw, Austrians and Hungarians are largely identical genetically, this is pretty clear from genetic studies and any genetic map of Europe you'd care to look at. The real difference is in language and culture, which is admittedly, very different. -
I don't think Leo has experienced a Kundalini Awakening (correct me, if I'm wrong), so I doubt he would want to do a video about it. Generally speaking, when it comes to spirituality, it is best to talk about things you have direct experience of. Personally, I am still a bit confused about the relationship between Kundalini and Enlightenment. Are they the same? Do they overlap? Is Kundalini one of the paths that lead to enlightenment or perhaps the only one, just in different forms? My full Kundalini awakening happened over 7 years ago and I'm still looking for answers. I believe I experienced enlightenment, if only briefly, but that does not make it a permanent state or condition. People who are permanently enlightened are generally referred to as saints, usually depicted with a Halo around their heads for this reason. These are your Monotheistic saints, Buddhist Boddhisattvas, Jain Tirtankharas, Hindu Jivanmuktas, etc... I also think that during the whole Enlightenment and Kundalini Awakening process, divine grace gets generally overlooked, which in my view, is a major error. There is a higher power at work here, that simply cannot be denied and surrender to this higher power is a key component of this process. It is also a painful process, because you gradually have to let go of various parts and layers of your ego, until there is nothing left and you are reborn in a baptism of fire. It is a great pity that most people cannot even begin to understand the universal truths behind the common teachings present in all religions and spiritual traditions. I have found, that the same motifs and teachings reappear in each of them over and over again, with different levels of complexity and detail.

There was a study in the UK a few years back, which found it to be the unhealthiest of all the fast food options, even more so than burgers and fries or fish and chips. Definitely to be avoided. It has a ridiculous amount of calories and saturated fat. Going for a falafel, shish kebab or any sort of grilled option with rice and salad will be far healthier. It is also a microbial nightmare, because of the dodgy meat used with an unknown origin and the fact they tend to leave it at room temperature overnight. to start again with the same slab of meat the next day.

Not exactly the place I would choose for serene meditation... My favourite place is the Jim Thompson house (excellent cafe / restaurant too), which you can get too with a river bus if you ask around. You have to pay an entry fee though. Other than that there are the obvious tourist sites, but none of them are particularly serene. I do like Ayutthaya as a day trip, but it's quite a distance from BKK, so not sure if you'll have time. To be honest, the nightlife is the main reason most Western males go there, otherwise there's not much to it. -
As a relatively new member, I must say that I have been happy with the moderation here so far and the moderators are also pretty balanced and knowledgeable people. I could mention other forums, cut from a similar cloth, (khmm, Project Avalon, khmm...) that engage in cultish behaviour and ban people regularly for no good reason, often just for disagreeing with the founder on certain issues. This forum seems to be mercifully free of that sort of nonsense.

Not exactly. The sex drive doesn't go away, it is only the energy generated by it (libido), which gets transmuted. When the Kundalini activates, if it is stuck at the second chakra and cannot get past, it causes insatiable sexual hunger and a lot of people who are at this level engage in promiscuity. But once the serpent moves past this centre, the sex drive gradually lessens, as it has an outlet, upwards. Once the Sahasrara (crown) is breached, the sexual energy exits the body at the top of the head. That is when the drinking of Soma takes over. It is not yet clear whether the Soma is generated by the genitals and pushed upwards into the brain, or whether it streams in from a higher dimension entering through the crown, or whether it is both and the two energies mix in some fashion. I'm inclined to believe it is the latter. No, not for the past 12-15 months.

A couple of people have already asked me about semen retention and I thought I would post the very simple technique by which it can be achieved, here: There really isn't that much to it, it's a fairly simple technique that requires some practice. I did do a bit of Yoga beforehand, so I was more aware of my individual muscles and how to clench and release them than most people, I suppose. The muscle you need to strengthen is the one responsible for holding urine back. You need to locate this and clench and hold it for as long as you can, then release it, repeatedly. You should do this several times a day until it gets strong enough to hold not only urine, but ejaculate back. At this point, when you get to the point of no return, in the few seconds before ejaculation, you need to clench this muscle as intensely as you can manage and hold it until the ejaculatory contractions end. Then, when you release it at first there might still be some semen seeping through, but with practice, you can have a completely dry orgasm. Usually, you will stay hard and can continue with intercourse, but second time round, you will last much longer and it will actually be quite hard for you to come, plus the erection seems to last a lot longer too. This also has the added benefit of providing all the energetic benefits of nofap, but you can still have sex as much as you want and experience dry orgasms, which is similar to the kind of non-ejaculatory orgasm women experience. I still recommend letting yourself ejaculate about once a week, it will provide most of the benefits, without any health concerns. Just as a note, this technique is effective in combatting erectile disfunction, premature ejaculation and a low sex drive. Plus, the ladies really appreciate it, as you can imagine. The last time I practiced it, my gf at the time was able to orgasm several times, whilst I just kept going. Also, maybe it was my imagination and my girlfriend remarked on it too, but my manhood seemed larger and harder than usual, which was again much appreciated. I don't practice semen retention any more as I have been completely celibate for years now and this is a low-level tantric practice for beginners, but it can have pretty positive side-effects quite apart from the spiritual benefits. My current practice is urdhvareta, a much more advanced tantric technique, whereby all sexual energies and seminal fluids are subsumed and transformed at the base of the spine and stream upwards into the spinal column and into the brain, on a continuous basis. For this to occur, a fully awakened Kundalini is a prerequisite.
