  1. @Javfly33 @Salvijus @LSD-Rumi Thx guys, I'll make sure to post some reports. 🀘
  2. Thanks! It already feels like home. Oh man, I had some delicious fresh juice on the street today... don't ask me what it was made of (looked kind of like an orange but wasn't), but it was damn good. And without ice, heh. Oh, I bet I will... today was probably just a little appetizer, lol. But I say bring 'em on; after all, that's what traveling is for! If you don't see and experience a bunch of strange and bewildering shit, you're doing it wrong.
  3. Well, technically I am not exiled... yet. Never say never though! Anyway, so far I have already survived day one (had some close calls, but surprisingly I did make it out alive); only 89 left to go - as per visa restrictions. (The plan is to spend the remaining two weeks in Nepal.) I'll keep you guys updated... and if not, then that probably means that I have failed the challenge, lmao! ✊️
  4. Soooo, after having taken a nightbus to Budapest and having soaked in a bit of faded old European splendor for two days before hopping on my plane towards wild & wondrous Asia, I finally arrived in Mumbai this morning... and man, I am already in love with the place. It's like my beloved old Pakistani neighborhood in Barcelona, only ten times worse! Seriously though, I really love the atmosphere so far. The people seem very friendly and eager to help; I already had a couple of great interactions with locals... and, in blatant spite of @An young being's warnings, I couldn't resist the temptation to try some of the tasty snacks that they sell at those dingy looking food stalls at the side of the street. Ugh, that stuff is f***ing yummy! Let's see if my digestive track will survive the night - wish me luck, kids. I also had a rather impressive ride from the airport to my hostel in an inner city train that drives, well, at full train speed with huge gaping doors that are WIDE OPEN during the ride; and the train is of course absolutely packed, so that people just stand casually balanced on the food board, leaning outside and letting the wind blow in their faces. LOL. I swear to God, every German safety inspector would die of an immediate heart attack if he saw half of the shit I've witnessed today, haha! Anyway, I'll head out now and grab another bite. To be continued!
  5. Aaaaaaww. And here I thought someone finally made a full length investigative documentary about Actualized.org... bummer!
  6. Spirituality could be regarded as an illusion that is designed to dispel all illusions - including the illusion of spirituality itself. It's the illusion to end all illusions, so to speak.
  7. It's a trap if you don't enjoy it. It's a magical Disneyland palace if you do.
  8. Inspired by real events... whatever that means. Let's just say that if it's made up, then it is made up remarkably well, lol.
  9. But I am a VICTIM! And women are DEVILS! And life is UNFAIR! Gaaaaaaahhhh!!! Just kidding. Great message. Let's hope it lands with some of the regulars on here.
  10. @Justdoit247 Okay, my bad... I just did some googling and found out that the original English version has the amazing title of Mutant Message Down Under (lol). Here's the book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Mutant-Message-Under-Tenth-Anniversary/dp/0060723513 Yeah, it's an amazing read. Hope you'll enjoy it!
  11. Midsommar? That would probably be the last movie I'd watch while tripping, lol. Not that I would watch any other movie during a psychedelic trip. These substances and the shifts of consciousness that they generate are much too precious and delicate to waste them on stupid shit like watching a film while tripping on them.
  12. Is this a Coen Brothers production? LOL
  13. It also would be 100% un-experienceable. There is no such thing as experience/perception without distortion. The distortion is that which creates the experience. You can only perceive if there is something to perceive. Erase all duality and you erase perception itself. So yeah, non-dual perception is actually an oxymoron. And the notion that you will ever reach a state that is 100 percent pure, unbiased and blissful is nothing but a spiritual fantasy.
  14. Yeah, all of the crazy detours we take in our evolution as a society are really just part of the process. Just as we as individuals sometimes must lose ourselves in order to find ourselves, society as a whole sometimes needs to get deeply lost in the weeds in order to be able to transition to the "next level". It's kind of like hitting puberty. So it might get a lot worse before it gets better, but I think that positive transformation towards bigger and better things is pretty much inevitable in the long run. It's simply the natural movement of life. Having said that, it's pretty hard to not feel awestruck when reading about the deep wisdom and seemingly supernatural abilities of the Aborigine people... some of the stuff that is being described in the book I mentioned is so beyond our modern materialistic mode of living and relating to the world that it sounds literally incredible. You cannot help but think "holy cow, we are a bunch of degenerate and retarded MORONS in comparison with those guys!" It certainly puts things into a new perspective and makes you realize how incredibly limited & limiting our so-called rationalist paradigm really is.
  15. Amen, brother. Healthy balance and simple trust in life are the most important principles on this path. And as strange as it might sound to some folks especially here on this forum, patience/moderation and persistence are not mutually exclusive.
  16. Couple of months ago I read a book called Dreamcatcher (funny thing is I found it on the street during a walk in the neighborhood... having never had heard of it, I only picked it up because I liked the title and thought that the description on the back sounded sort of interesting). It's the account of an American lady who spent five months the with an Aborigine tribe in the Australian desert, learning all about their way of life, wisdom and worldview. And let me tell you, it is an absolutely MINDBLOWING book. While reading it, I found myself shaking my head in dumbfounded disbelief on practically every page. If you're an inhabitant of a modern Western "civilized" first world nation who wants to expand his/her worldview and likes being served a big fat juicy slice of home-made humble pie, read this book. Trust me, we're primitive savages compared to these people.
  17. @Princess Arabia Don't put others on a pedestal. Nothing good ever comes of it.
  18. Noob... as if there is something subjective. πŸ˜πŸ™ƒπŸ₯ΈπŸ’₯πŸ¦πŸ΅πŸ€β˜’οΈπŸ”†
  19. That's wisdom for the ages right there.
  20. Amen to that. Listen to this guy, @koops. He is one of the few people on here who actually knows what the heck they are talking about.
  21. This reminds me of a saying about procrastination I once read somewhere: Procrastination is like masturbation. It feels really good in the beginning, but in the end you realize that you just fucked yourself.
