  1. Everything you hear is the sound of the Universe! Sometimes when I am surrounded by a crowd of people (like when I am sitting at a restaurant), I like to close my eyes and become aware of the fact that I am listening to the thousand voices of God.
  2. That actually sounds like three things, lol.
  3. Sweet. Now, can you also feel the emptiness of space? That's when things really start to get interesting...
  4. Hmmmm... like a mix between H.R. Giger, Hieronimus Bosch, Max Ernst and Caspar David Friedrich. Nice stuff, If that's the right expression in this context.
  5. "So, let’s talk about why you believe DMT aliens are floating around in your head – and why you’re absolutely wrong." Lmao. On DMT, you realize there is no such thing as "your head".
  6. My man, reading through the neverending absurd & hilarious discussions on here constantly makes me laugh my freaking butt off. Why do you think I keep coming back, even while travelling the planet? It's just too goddamn entertaining!
  7. Ain't no such thing as existence without form... and even if there was, it wouldn't be a thing to experience. So what the heck is there to be scared about?
  8. Noooope. The whole purpose of liberation is to fall in love with the cycle of birth and death. ☯️
  9. Thanks for the chuckle, lol.
  10. Because it can fry your brain and derail your life if you're not prepared for it, or misuse it for spiritual bypassing.
  11. What I really like about Taoism is that they don't have this silly idea of a personal creator God that is characteristic of all Abrahamic religions (and which of course has left its indelible imprint on the way that God is being conceptualized even in modern Western spirituality) but rather view the Tao as a purely impersonal force that cannot be grasped or described in any way (and has nothing to do with the concept of "you"). It's a decidedly naturalistic and down to earth philosophy, without all of the airy-fairy fluff that us poor heirs of Christianity are burdened with. And of course, the Yin Yang symbol is the perfect encapsulation of reality... the undivided whole becoming visible (=> experienceable) through apparent division. It really doesn't get any more precise than that.
  12. Show me an Actualized.org follower who isn't mostly introvert and I'll show you a walrus that can fly.
  13. Hit the nail on the f***ing head. 💯
  14. 👍 Absolutely. For me, my regular meditation practice didn't really "click" before I started doing Qi Gong every time right before sitting down on the cushion... and combining that with ecstatic dance (and ideally energy healing therapy) is just crazy good.
  15. Lol... well, that's religious institutions for you. To be fair, in this context I can kind of understand why they would want to investigate about your worldview; when you're running a Christian church, you probably want to make sure that the priest you're going to hire isn't secretly a Satanist, lol. But still, this spying after your employee's online activities leaves a bad taste in my mouth... which is exactly why I would steer clear of any kind of jobs at religious institutions. But you do you, brother.
  16. Very well said. It's impossible to put into words how utterly boring existence would be without a healthy dose of ignorance... in fact, the word "boring" doesn't even begin to do the unimaginable monotony of everlasting omniscience any justice. Which is of course exactly why we're ignorant! To think that ignorance is somehow a mistake in God's design is sheer lunacy.
  17. 70% hardcore introvert, 30% hardcore extrovert. But my extrovert side can be so loud and expressive at times that people usually don't believe me when I tell them that I am in fact more intro- than extrovert, lol.
  18. No, not at all. The guy who was organizing the meetups was a super down to earth dude (even though - or maybe because - he was/is a Buddhist) and decidedly anti woo-woo, and far from glorifying psychedelics wholesale. He was especially critical of the 5-Meo DMT "hype" of recent years (even though he himself had a lot of experience with the substance). They also had interesting guest speakers like semi-famous Youtubers etc. who gave talks on various subjects and substances. I should clarify that the name of the meetups was "Der Psychedelische Salon" (The Psychedelic Salon), but as I understood it, they were connected to the Psychedelic Society... but don't quote me on that. Hope you'll have fun!
  19. Attaboy! I am sure you'll be having a great time.
  20. I used to go to their meetups in Berlin couple of years back when I was just getting into psychedelics. Interesting place where you can meet all sorts of colorful characters (as is to be expected ).
  21. Money problems, hands down. 1000€ unconditional basic income would be my idea of paradise.
  22. My recommendation: Look up places where they do Cacao ceremonies with ecstatic dance afterwards. Hands down the best dance parties I've ever been to (because nobody there stands around with a drink in their hand and a goofy look on their face... everyone is there to dance), and the perfect place to let go of your inhibitions with the aid of Mama Cacao!
  23. Wise words. Now get ready for the inevitable rebuttal by some of our staunch spiritual bypassing junkies on here, arriving in 3... 2... 1...
