  1. First of all, don't think that his enlightenment is real. He's not enlightened. Nowhere near it. Second, and most importantly, even if the future is predetermined (which is just a thought), you don't know it, I don't know it, and nobody else knows it AT ALL! So, whether you believe that anything you do is pointless or not, you still don't know your destiny. That being said, what would you choose? Taking full responsibility for your life, or drowning in the misery of victim's mindset?
  2. @electroBeam I feel so much liberated now, thanks to you..
  3. @kira It isn't an insult. It's just that you've actually shown a stage Blue quality, that is not being open to criticism.
  4. @Ampresus I think older people can give you better answers. Look for old people in your life and ask them what they think is worthwhile doing, what they regret about their youth, what they consider to be the most fulfilling, and what they wish they have done. Ask as many people as possible, but stay away from us, young people. The answers, of course, will be correlated to their time so take that into account, and find out the crossing points with our time. (Old people means 50 years and more).
  5. Kinda weird to be religious and rebellious at the same time ? I'm convinced that he's in a transitional phase.
  6. Good analysis! I think there are other possibilities as well: Number three, he has a rebellious nature and doesn't like to submit to an authority of any kind, so he adopts a lot of unconventional beliefs (@Preety_India you should find out). Number four, he's in a transitional phase in his life, he has no solid identity, and he doesn't know what to believe. In which case, I would run away immediately if not before.
  7. That's what happens when you worship the signs instead of following them ??‍♂️
  8. I've skipped the gym yesterday, and I think I'm going to skip it today as well. I tried not to exhaust myself but it seems like ego-backlashes come in the form of physical illness as well. I'm having a flu, headache and pain in the bones. I'm in bed, resting and trying to remain conscious. Today I am feeling much better though. During such times, I usually get disgusted with everything. I can't bare the thought of going to the gym, reading, going out, talking, or really doing anything at all. I'm not sure why I'm even journaling. I'm trying to not give in to my desire for starting marathons of Prison Break, How I Met Your Mother, or Game Of Thrones. I'm quite confident that I won't give in. I don't care about balance right now. I just want to get back to normal. .. I've had one other nightmare, but not anymore. It was about the most recent friend I've met (two weeks ago). He's a foreigner to my country, and I was introducing him to the old city and stuff where I lost him and lived through hell until I've eventually found him. .. I was trying to learn about The Enneagram model but I'm so not in the mood for reading anything. At first, I thought it was something naive like zodiac signs (it might be), but I now think it can be helpful. I will read more when I get better.
  9. Whenever you break-up with your awesome girlfriend (and you will), give me her digits lol.
  10. @Deanna I can relate. I know what you're talking about because I've felt when I was listening to this on headphones. I did it twice and entered a very deep state which felt like pure nothing. I even felt like an embryo or a sperm even though I don't remember how that's like at the moment. The concept of being brainwashed came to mind as I was listening. I'm not saying you're brainwashed, in fact, you seem really aware of everything you're doing. I just wanted to entertain a thought. Others have given really good advice here, so I don't think I will be of much help. Just take care of yourself and your family ?
  11. I think if someone is having trouble accepting other perspectives to be true besides their own, then that might be a huge sign of being brainwashed. I don't think one should necessarily agree with other perspectives or other people's ways of thinking and living. I do think, though, that not being able to interact properly with them is a problem and should be looked into. But, there is something unique here. We, spiritual and self-actualizing people should be the ones who are accepting of the others, not the other way around. We claim to be more educated and open-minded, so it's our job to live up to that.
  12. @Deanna Hey, I've read your other thread and I have a question for you just to entertain it as a possibility: did it occur to you that maybe you've got brainwashed by Leo's videos?
  13. @Annonymous If I recall correctly, @Shanmugam has written a book regarding this topic.
  14. @laurel In my experience, the absence of anger comes in the form of stillness/peace of mind. The most important thing to notice, though, is that most emotions are due to having an ego/identity. Without the identity, there's no fear, and no anger, there's not even stillness or peace of mind because there is no mind to being with. But, it's not possible to keep living without an identity, and therefore I think it's okay to have an ego. However, there are orders of egoic structures, and the more aware the ego is, the higher its structure becomes, and the happier/most fulfilled it gets.
  15. This confession is the ultimate purification! You're free! You don't need to force humility or empathy even though you can. My advice is to simply be aware of your desires and to own and allow them and then to go out and experience in the field like you did with your friend. Be willing to make mistakes, because we can't learn without making mistakes. I would also advise that you change your whole trajectory towards females into an experimental mode, like just going out in the field exploring without having any agendas whatsoever. This can make you feel more comfortable and relaxed. I think this is a rationalisation/justification for being biased. Sure, the majority of users are males, but they're not running around unconsciously treating women like objects. Males here are just as conscious as you and the other ladies. Many of us are integrated with our feminine side as well. Dr. Luv, in my opinion, is a good example ?
  16. They are and aren't the same, at the same time. We can find commonalities between meditation and anything else. Most essentially, it is the flow and lack of resistance. On the other hand, we can find differences as well. For example, meditation gives you more direct insights about your own reality, while YouTube can give you insights from others about their own realities, which might or might not apply to your reality, but if it does, it can be really eye-opening and life-transforming. I think both are beneficial and healthy if you know how to balance them correctly. Make sure you don't cling to one or the other. Find out the perfect balance for you and keep it in check because it will change over time. That's what I'm currently learning, both from my own practices and from other people's opinions and experiences. Think of this forum as a massive collective meditation influx. Notice how you can learn a lot of insights simply by reading them. This forum, in my opinion, is meditation on steroids ?
  17. @assx95 Don't blame yourself bro, she clearly overreacted. If she was a little bit more conscious, she would have been more gentle with you, she might have even taught you how to ask for sex appropriately just like other women are doing here. Yet, in my opinion, they're still biased towards their own gender.
  18. Yes. She could have simply rejected sex without shaming the guy. She made him feel wrong about having a sexual desire and about expressing it. That's something I consider a traumatic event. She's a devil, and he is innocent.
