  1. The Untethered Soul was a pretty good read when I was depressed I think you can really get a sense for the cause of your depression with psychedelics. I still suffer regularly from depression, but from my integrated psychedelic experiences, in combination with many other self-help and introspective activities, I've learned that I was ultimately causing it out of ignorance/lack of perspective. Taking the attitude that you're accidentally causing your depression, and having a growth mindset about figuring out why and tackling those issues will lead you on a journey to learn a ton about it and yourself and will undoubtedly lessen it's effect in your life.
  2. Teal seems to have developed a "framework" with which to understand reality, she's charismatic. I don't know what her psychedelic/altered-consciousness-state experience is, or other aspects like the material she's covered in an academic/traditional or auto-didactic fashion, or really even more than stories about what she's been through outside of the chunk of her stuff I've consumed. Her descriptions of emotional understanding processes and experiential emotional satisfaction cycles are quite vivid and obviously different from Leo's material, and I would say they fundamentally are covering different things. They are each unique self-help authors/creators. Leo's material teaches you to independently discover, study, and integrate with appropriate weight, all sorts of content in a widely varied curriculum of all the best material available to humans, spiritual or otherwise. I would say that having a depth of experience with, and application of, material that may include Teal's, is a foundational prerequisite for much of the world-class-advanced material Leo is creating in recent years. And what is all of this if YOU do not contemplate it and integrate it into your daily life and behavior by consistently taking action? Once all your needs are consistently met you can let go of needs altogether
  3. Thank God! --- When I was new to Actualized content, I was watching a lot of Teal Swan. She has a lot of content that can have positive influence, but it seems to be lacking a certain precision in her understanding of the absolute and surrounding nuance in spiritual topics. She could be a good supplement, but do not mistake her, or any teacher (including Leo), as having (or rather, being able to transmit to you through language) the whole picture. Leo says himself in The Challenges of Making Bold Life Changes that he'd, at that time, covered less than a fraction of 1% of self-help content. Which means that we have to use Leo as a source and not as a GURU. Ultimately all "meeting of your needs" is YOU meeting your own needs! You must consciously take action in your life, mentally and physically, to meet your own needs. If you do this and exceed your own expectations of life and spirituality, you'll eventually discover that all of Life is God writing it's own self-help system for itself! Finding a partner who you can be intimate with is YOU meeting your need for intimacy. Just don't let the opportunity to LOVE and help another person meet their needs pass you by. That selflessness is what we need. -- also, it looks like the gateway podcast only had like 5 episodes in 2018, so, you know, apply your infinite intelligence to it, does it really have any authority to explain reality to you...?
  4. @Nak Khid haha did you mean "touche" ? It seems like you're struggling to hold paradox in your mind. The subtle distinctions you have to make here are more nuanced than your black/white, real/imagined, all or nothing paradigm. Imagination is real! and reality is imaginary. You imagine reality, and reality is everything imaginable to an infinite mind. We're just limited in our everyday un-awakened state. You have to develop your ability to make fine distinctions about reality by actually doing the work. Armchair philosophy wont get you there, and really, language wont either. gl!
  5. @The observer When you're awake, it's obvious. When you're not, it's obvious. But to people who are not, nothing is obvious, they are oblivious. Noise around the signal. Anyone who's had an awakening just cringes at the lack of experience exhibited in posts like this. When you see it, you'll shit brix <3
  6. @Meditationdude one of the sub-infinities of Absolute Infinity, is infinite foolishness. People will express every permutation of dumb ass shit they can do and then go post it publicly. This is how God makes examples of what not to do, so that you and I can learn from it. So learn from it! Condemning a great teacher for the inevitable fool in his followers is like railing against STEM education for causing the cold war.
  7. Part of the reason you become ugly, frail, deaf, blind etc when you're old is so that you can turn inward after a lifetime of life experience and use that to work on your enlightenment. When you're young, beautiful, sharp, and can experience your senses fully, go get 'er done!
  8. I always wonder what it could be, besides ego-driven unconsciously-willful ignorance, that causes people to react this way. I've had a few people say things like, "look out for this guy, he is messing with your mind." But then, when I look at how they see the world, it is usually at a stage I have already integrated and transcended long ago, which is painfully obvious to me, but to them I am a criminal demon for refusing to give it up. They think that I am the ignorant one. What's there to be scared of? I've been doing this work for decades, and added Leo to my list of teachers nearly 5 years ago. I seem to operate just fine! In "fact" in addition to having great success in my career, pickup, travel, relationships, self-work, and more, I am getting to a stage where I am beginning to plan the next step of life-purpose-career, spiritually-focused-life, abandoning of ego desires for more sex, more money, etc. and I increasingly walk through life as a unity of all things as Love. I am slowly dissolving and shedding fear of death and feel awake! Anything that pulls me back towards spiritual degradation or distraction (almost anything) I can just let go. So now I spend much of my time teaching my loved ones and those close to me. People come to me for advice. (Now the work is to not let that go to my head, when there's no be whose head it can go to...!) Why people is so scared? ROFL
  9. The whole Dust Brothers soundtrack has always held deep significance to me even without lyrics, they capture a mood of being a stoned teen walking under streetlights experiencing freedom for the first time in Life, and realizing how limited it always is.
  10. @MAYA EL <-- It's painfully obvious, when people use terms like "new agey", "word salad", "woo", and other terms learned from subscribing to the SD stage red/blue/orange internet, when people call genuine insights/expressions "dumb", "sassy", "pointless", and when people blatantly project the very devilish thing they are doing, that they are trolls. And it doesn't help to feed ideological trolls! Every conversation with them will be pointless, it doesn't matter who or what or why or when. Engaging with them is how the devil aims to waste your time, effort, Love, and kill, steal, destroy, and spiritually degrade you. But don't demonize them, they have to go through this stage to learn through the consequences and then grow. Let it go. Let it slide. (and I should be doing the same ). On a lighter note ... @John Paul amazing work, thank you for making an account just to share this experience with us. I have had a near identical experience and just reading this gave me sense-memory of "seeing the ox tail flit around the corner" A sortof synaesthesic, rainbow-sensation of meaninglessness. Chills. Good on ya m8!
  11. @ugreglo @Arcangelo be careful, because you just may have designed a reality before you were born where you make all these "predictive" claims about trump only to be proven wrong, in order to learn about the danger of thinking you know things that you don't actually know! Consider this: What will grow you more? A reality where you get what you want and get to indulge in "I told you so" auto-fellating? or a reality where you have to learn a very painful and humbling lesson about going around publicly acting like you know everything, promoting hate and engaging in deceit...? Think about where you got your ideas and why you adopted them. (although this is literally how you learn, so maybe it's necessary and the only possibility)
  12. @Nivsch it would be better for SEO to use words that are relevant to the topic in your channel name. Like rather than just some random guys unusual name, you could make the name of the channel something like: "How to Sing like a Meteorologist, with Niv Schleifer" just an idea ...
  13. If you don't know how to get mushrooms, I don't know how in the heckle you'd know how to get iboga ...
  14. @rnd from what I can tell, the LPC should be done before getting into the really deep and advanced topics for most people as these discourses seem to target an audience who already has and is working on their life purpose. I may be biased though
  15. In bed at 7:30, wake at 2:45 It feels amazing to have 8 hours of life-purpose work before wage slavery, the bastards wont get my best energy! Nothing good happens after 7p anyway, who needs alcohol "the most dangerous drug" or partying which is basically wasting time surrounded by underdeveloped people. But I'm being judgmental, so who am I to talk about development
  16. @Leo Gura Is one of your videos particularly suited to helping answer this question? What I would like, is some sort of framework for deciding if I actually want to have kids or not, so that I can make a solid decision and be confident in it. Seems like perhaps part of the life purpose course could be relevant. I'd like to answer this question for myself once and for all, because I often struggle with whether or not to have children and make that a cornerstone of how I seek my next big relationship or seek a partner in Life.
  17. @Valach what you don't want is the feeling when you're 33 that you wasted your 20s on dumb empty bullshit like drinking, partying, chasing underdeveloped girls. It's much more painful, trust me.
  18. @Chintan desai You will get more out of the course if you take the time to save the money up and eventually afford it at it's list price. If it's given to you for some arbitrary discount, you will not get as much out of the course. Watch RSD Tyler's video on investment. (it's non-dating material)
  19. @Leo Gura contemplating for life purpose in the transformation of economics / commercial psychedelics. This story in particular caught my attention today: http://aurynfund.org/pala I am considering making video games that give people psychedelic experiences, but with so many psychedelic retreats becoming available online and around the globe, I'm starting to wonder if inventing new psychedelic business models is a more pressing need. Basically my question is, do you have any plan for a video, or direct action through your business, to help prevent what this story is portraying? (which is essentially the over-commercialization of the psychedelic industry by big pharma (see the story http://aurynfund.org/pala)) If you don't have time to read it that's OK, but it seems relevant to your mission and to the not so distant future of a society potentially lead by Bernie, that is growing up the spiral. Thanks for any input.
  20. @Nickyy Pulling the trigger 5 times in single-player russian roulette does not make the game safe.
  21. Set out to travel the world. Love and be compassionate towards those around you. Be the example, don't try to change anyone. Live your life with passion, purpose and vision. People may take notice and start to ask how you can be so committed to your goals, and the right people will find you. Watch Leo's video "How to Deal with Loneliness while Self-Actualizing" and know that loneliness is a projection of your mind. You are unique and different than these others for a reason, you are on the path. Work ardently and diligently, you are bound to be successful ... Bound to be successful. (forgive my channeling Goenkaji there
  22. @Leo Gura @CreamCat Not only that, but video games in general are also designed, similar to gambling and social media, to curry maximum engagement from their audience. They are extremely addictive and this prevents many young men (and women) from ever becoming strong, conditioned, calibrated, fit, worldly and the combination of all these; attractive. There are studies, coming out on hacker news today that there is such a recession in the amount of sex young people are having that it is contributing to economic recession factors. Further, there have been several studies that have come up on hacker news in recent years that point to video games as a chief distractor and retreat for young men who cannot find companionship and sex because they spend so much time on their games that they never learn the skills necessary to get the girl. This is why RSD makes millions and millions of dollars, because something's gotta give and by the time it does, paying for instruction and in-field coaching is the only way once you've wasted your 20s. (Please forgive my obvious bias)
  23. @Nickyy I personally know somebody who died from using MDMA. I also personally know several others who have suffered hospitalizing hyperthermia and other serious side effects including precipitated methamphetamine addiction chasing the first high they had on MDMA. You haven't done your research
  24. I wonder if living far from someone and seeing them rarely makes a difference if you still text with them constantly. So much of it seems to be that you have to have your own thing going on and not make your whole life just the relationship ...
  25. @Leo Gura What is the difference between denial and transcendence? (Or do you cover this in one of your videos?) Is it as simple as denial you're always fighting, whereas transcendence is effortless?
