Grateful Dead replied to Kalki Avatar's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I thought I did until I missed that flight a few months ago. I literally threw my hat on the floor lol I was so angry The plane was still there but they wouldn't let me in anymore and they even told me ahead of time that they would wait as it was a connecting flight. Also, a beautiful girl was waiting at my place. It was a test and I failed miserably... -
@ardacigin Okay nice. I think I heard on a Michael Taft podcast that he slept with students who were at his retreat center. That didn't sound good...
-
Didn't he sleep with his students?

@Lyubov I did my Spanish course at a public university and it was very cheap but eventually they started protesting there and we couldn't get in for a couple of weeks lol. 4 months in Bogota and 2 in Bucaramanga. I didn't feel that way in Bogota, but everyone there told me that I didn't look like a gringo at all. So I can fit in there easily (probably different if you have blonde hair) and when I told someone I'm from Germany they were very impressed lol... they love Germany over there. I've never been anywhere else in South America, but in Colombia everyone said Peru is the place to be.

Video about shadow work would be cool!

@herghly According to this podcast, even once a week is too much.

I lived in Colombia for 6 months and had a Colombian girlfriend for about 3 years. Highly recommended, the people there are so kind and loving. Lots of hot women and they literally approached me on the street. Also the spanish they speak there is very clear, it is the best place to learn spanish imo. With German passport you can stay 6 months and if you want to stay longer you just have to pay them. I think I would move there if it was financially possible.

Same here brother. I think it has a lot to do with childhood trauma but it's a really complex topic for me.

I can. Still got hooked when I tried again.

Stanislav Grof had incredible success in healing mentally ill people with LSD. Ketamine is not optimal for this work unless you have taken psychedelics before imo. There are many factors that go into whether it works or not. Most people with depression or other mental health issues can't even work to change their minds because they can't see what's wrong. Of course, a few psychedelics trips will not solve your depression or other mental health problems, no reputable therapist would claim that. But they can give you a new perspective, and they do so very effectively when the dose is high enough for a breaktrough experience, and from there, those people can start seriously transforming their lifes.

@GroovyGuru Going out to clubs can be amazing! It's one of the most meaningful things in my life and i'm not really an extroverted guy. Dating apps should only be a side thing that you can't expect anything from. which kind of music do you like?
-
I do not think so. I've opened up to women and it turned them on, but as @Globalcollective said, it depends on where it's coming from.
-
Beautiful, thank you! my loves goes out to all of you just keep going

Kurt once said that if he had enough money he would buy a lifetime supply of heroin and just do it to the end.

Much healing is happening these days. It feels like something beautiful is rising out of the darkness. 2 days ago I entered a new depth of god realization. Just WOW! It came out of nowhere and the uniqueness and aliveness of this experience completely blew me away. So raw and true I can still taste it.

Turning off all electronics and just sitting with yourself for a day is a good idea I think.

What do you want to know?

Amid all the chaos, I had a cool awakening in the ice bath. I became conscious of the untouchable nature of consciousness. Basically I realized consciousness cannot destroyed or harmed in any way. No harm is possible, it is perfect.

@eggopm3 Saw Dead and Co twice in New York in 2019, great times definitely recommend. Next year will be their last tour with this line-up, so don't miss it. I can't afford to come to the States this year and probably won't see any of it. At the Europe shows there were only about 300-500 people at each concert and you get to know a lot of them after a few shows. So I felt completely safe there, like everyone was watching my ass, it's really like a big family in a way. It's like the older folks are holding space for the younger ones there. And yes, this music will never die, infinite possibilities are yet to come! I've also always been put off by the alcohol culture. I mean, I don't mind people drinking and getting loose, but it really kills the vibe when most people just drink. For example, at psytrance festivals, a lot of people still drink a little, but not a lot, and everyone also takes psychedelics, so the vibe is still amazing.

Okay. For me it's better when I have eaten something that day already and then wait 4 hours.

Same! Although when tripping I love '69 too. Live/Dead or Dick's Pick 16 are great for example. Have you been to a live dead show? Dark Star Orchestra (Grateful Dead cover band) did a Europe tour this year in honor of the original tour from '72 50 years ago and they recreated the shows with the same setlists etc. I saw 7 shows and dosed at 5. Best time of my life so far! Many people who have gone there have been following the dead for more than 30 years and have done tons of spiritual work. They also dose at those shows and everyone dances together. Had my deepest God realization on the last show. Definitely some of the most conscious people there I've ever met. Saw him twice this month in Berlin and Cologne. He is so freaking good it's crazy, but the crowd there is very different, it's mostly people who drink.

Interesting thanks for sharing! I always get nauseous when I vape 5-meo in the morning. Do you eat anything before?
