  1. Ye sounds to me like you handled it all in a reasonable way. I like what I see to be your leaving the date early in a respectful, yet healthily assertive way. It sounds like you've learnt some things from the experience which seems great too.
  2. @Raptorsin7 Regarding my perception of why you have psychologically come to hold your current views, I'm not entirely certain that my opinion re unintegrated anger is correct. I may be mistaken. However, imo, its the most likely reason why you specifically are resonating with these types of views. Regarding how I can be sure about the intellectual judgments of the views you express, I think there is always potential that one is certain they are right when they are not. In that sense, I suppose I cannot ever be entirely sure. Yet, I'd say my level of confidence is nevertheless somewhat high because I'm drawing from what I see to be a pretty extensive amount of formal/ casual education, and also personal life experiences. I, to somewhat repeat myself, don't think it is a sign of growth. However, if you see the adopting of these viewpoints and engaging with these types of politics to be part of a current tremendous arc of growth, then it makes sense to me why you would not be too concerned with it. In fact I imagine it would be quite invigorating for you.
  3. @Raptorsin7 I think Racism = bad. However, I will not argue further on the rationality on that because I think it would legitimise the debating of something that is wrong to even consider debating about. On another note, I think its worrying that you have this view. To my mind, this is a very extreme position to hold, and I think a dangerous one too. It seems to me like you've taken in a lot of right wing propaganda recently which has increasingly radicalised you. I think the right wingers on YouTube are very effective at marketing to those that are not emotionally stable, particularly those with unintegrated anger, and I think this has a part to play in this for you. My understanding is that I myself have gone down a similar path for similar stated reasons when I was younger. I say this because I think you really need to evaluate the path you are going down regarding your political views. I think there are real unhealthy consequences to this path. I've been to the point in this comment because I want to seriously advise you against indulging further in these sorts of views from these sorts of speakers.
  4. @Raptorsin7 Dude that seems like a racist view to me. Different cultures have different stages of development but why say that there is something essential about white European's to the success of the western world. It seems to me like an argument that white European are inherently superior in some ways to other ethnicities and races.
  5. I think we should respect the basic dignity of every human being no matter what they do, so I'm personally against the death penalty in all forms. I'm unsure of whether there is a specific take that a stage yellow person would be predisposed to. Edit: I just checked my notes, and found, 'There is no absolute Truth, there are only perspectives which have half-truths in them' as a stage yellow mindset. Still unsure what their ethical belief would be. However, I think their systemic mindset would cause them to look at the implications of the death penalty, though am unsure what metric they'd evaluate it by still
  6. Lmao as tends to be the case I second what Raze says. Unless you are rather dissociated then I'd recommend Janina Fisher's work
  7. You could have ADHD, you could also have dissociation, you could also just have a particular genetic make up. Whatever the answer will require very different solutions, imo. If you have ADHD, I'd recommend getting answers from only neurodivergent folks or those adequately educated about ADHD. I wouldn't rule out medication if that is the case. If you have dissociation, I'd look into specific resources on that. Also, from what I understand, you deal with mental health issues. How does that present? Do you have a diagnosis that you could tell me?
  8. Honestly dude I think you'd be way better off leaving this debate and taking an online course about politics/ political theory. Personally, I think most of the politics community on yt are rather superficial in their political analysis, and in their intellectual rigour. From what I've seen from your post, you seem like an on the ball kind of guy. However, I think getting political opinions from youtube is like eating junk food. If you're persuaded by more right wing ideas, fair play. I'm not myself, but we can have a difference of opinion. However, why not look into figures like Nozick, or Locke. Guys who dedicated their lives to being at the cutting edge of the intellectual field and were well trained in doing so. Personally, I'm a left winger but, though there are a few argument I've picked up from yt, I am confident in my opinion because of what experienced academics have argued, such as G.A. Cohen.
  9. You can use open source libraries to access most books for free. In doing so you can educate yourself and learn some selfhelp therapies. Youarerad.org have a free therapy funding thing Some psychotherapists do pro bono and sliding scale things too A useful workbook imo is: https://www.amazon.com/Transforming-Living-Legacy-Trauma-Therapists/dp/1683733487/ref=sr_1_3?crid=7XQUHZ9G9V2E&keywords=janina+fisher+workbook&qid=1662147431&sprefix=janina+fisher+workbook%2Caps%2C234&sr=8-3
  10. @Shakazulu Nice one re reports. And great re workbook!
  11. To my understanding, the major issue is that the more inflation increases, the more people fall into sub-standard living conditions where they struggle to meet their basic needs. This causes lots of suffering, and also leads to loss of life.
  12. On a pickup related note, are you field reporting?
  13. @Tyler Robinson You're welcome. I hope it helps you.
  14. @Shakazulu Great! I personally found a lot of value in that phrase, 'It's just triggering - I am triggered - that's all that's happening'. How have you found the book in general so far?
  15. @Rishabh R Ye if you're optimistic about life and actions you take then for sure. It comes through in how you act, and would be an honest signal that you have some positive masculine qualities.
  16. Imo, it is useful and generally healthy to be hopeful about the future. I'd advise working on your inner game as well as your outer game. I.e. get your mental health on point, aim for emotional mastery etc.
  17. @Tyler Robinson Sure. There is the book, 'Healing the fragmented selves of trauma survivors' by Fisher You have: https://integralguide.com/
  18. Hey dude, I've disconnected from my family for over a year for similar reasons. I think Dr Ramani and Patrick Teahan have some useful resources on Youtube. I like Dr Ramani particularly because she's no bs about it. She grounds her stuff in science and her clinical experience, to my understanding too. I personally think its healthy to do. However, I'd note it can be a tricky adjustment period.
  19. Could try out some loving-kindness meditation. Also, personally I enjoy it more when I disagree with people. I'll say, 'I disagree'. Adds an element of healthy challenge to the conversation
  20. 'Is there anyone you're madly in love with right now?'
  21. Haven't watched too much of it. However, have heard people really love it. Also, I've heard a few folks who are really into psychoanalysis say it contains the best movie/ TV portrayal of psychoanalysis that they know of.
