Recipe for this: -1 Tsp Guilt -2 Cups Subconscious Cultural Programming about "Drugs" -3 Tbsp Fear -A pinch of fundamentalist morality -1 Tsp God forgetting that he is God Stir well, conceptually, to create a thick mixture of ideology

Don't base your diet on an enlightened master just eating raw honey in the jungle or meditating so much he only has to sleep 4 hours a night for example, for 99.9% of people this will be a health disaster. More essential than a quick sugar like honey would be amino acids or fats, so in this case you would be missing all your foundational nutrients and your body would start depleting rapidly
-
-Avoid gluten -Eat a variety of fermented foods -Get enough quality sleep every night -Eliminate stress as much as possible

Of course, also nothing is right or wrong and theres no such thing as an ego, you could look at it from that perspective, or any perspective that you want, but when your true primary motivation is "i want to feel spiritual which makes me feel good about myself" or "I want to explain spirituality to others which fulfills my hidden social needs or whatever" vs "I want to transcend my self image and notion of self/other altogether" results experienced will vary -

Can't explain it to others? Thats not the point of spirituality, its for yourself. Sounds like you got involved with it in the first place for all the wrong reasons, like using it for some form of entertainment with an ego identification to it. -

While being drunk I agree has its own kind of "spiritual nature" in a very different kind of way, its still something you want to avoid as its quite literally poisoning your body and results in so many negatives for your hormones, sleep, organ, brain function, ect. I think most of us have been through a phase of low consciousness and finding ourselves drunk and taking awe in the feeling, but once you wake up to what you are doing to yourself its just not wise to ever go back there, speaking from my experience. -

"Drugs" is a human invention and a loosely defined concept at best. What constitutes a drug and what doesn't? Who gets to say? Our brain is full of "drugs" on its own even if you live a 100% "sober life" your neurochemistry will be interacted with by your emotional states, food you eat, sleep you get, other environmental circumstances that cause physiological changes. The #1 ignorant defense mechanism I see right now is people lumping in mystical states of consciousness with "drugs". Its just silly and naive, but people don't realize its a programed belief that goes much deeper than they are conscious of. You have to experience how drugs are a made up notion. -
Yeah but they also infect the host to ultimately cause its downfall, clearly they are women. (Its a joke moderators don't give me a warning pls)

As I remember, he was calling out these men for purposefully acting new-agey and adopting that overly passive pretense to serve some end or fit some ideal. Not because they naturally had less test or identified more with the feminine. He described a general shift in the attitude of society where women had to become more masculine to compete with men and men tried to fit some new ideal contrary to their true nature.

This is just a general question, zooming out from Leo: What is more authentic, a person who puts on a pretense of lovey-dovey niceness all the time or a person who responds in ways people perceive as edgy or rude to voice their truth? Would you rather have the insincere front or the "real thing"? There is no way a person who tries to sugarcoat everything so to speak, all the time is being authentic. Look inside, sometimes that bubbly love attitude is authentic but at times when there is an absence of that and a passion comes up to speak your truth in a way that some people might consider offensive, is that inauthentic or is that just "socially unacceptable"? On the flipside, being a dick all the time is not authentic either, its likely a wall of defense and insecurity. Theres definitely a fine line to balance on.

Just a clarification, Dieda is talking about masculine and feminine energies, not men and women. He explains a man can be more feminine and a woman can be more masculine. There is no inequality or value judgements taking place.

Im quite offended its 2020 but theres still only recognition of male viruses. This forum is about equality is it not?

Damn right Ill debate it down to the epistemic roots. No i’m just busting your balls with that one, no pun intended. My post was meant to be humorous

Theres a difference between throwing a ball and shooting a ball into a basket. Its nuanced. With the skillset Kobe possessed, you can't say he was just "throwing it", he spent years working on the mechanics and quality repetition of his shooting motion. Theres footwork, theres timing, theres a subtle flick of the wrist, follow through, ect ect thousands of times, in a game setting, under metabolic fatigue and with defenders in your face. The man just died and you said he was "throwing" it? C'mon Leo

Its mostly killing older people. Not the type of thing young healthy people will die from especially with access to proper treatment. Its still quite serious but not of the nature you proposed.

I'm sensing a Ben greenfield enthusiast? If you have the means to get the equipment, set it up and use it for sex. Supposedly makes it a lot better.

My only question is why the Leo avatar told the delivery guy at the door he was recording here -
Makes me contemplate the experience he and his daughter were having together before impact and the life to death transition. Makes me wonder about his souls journey, the mastery he achieved at the sport and the impact he had on culture, yet dying so young in a tragic way.

All those questions are conceptual in nature, so they are at the level of belief if not directly experienced. Just because something is at the level of "belief", does not mean it isn't true, that is just the level it is at, factually, if you are honest and open. The book wants you to question the obvious. -

In a non dual perspective, there is no our vs their energy or our dreams vs their dreams in the ultimate sense. Dreams occur in the universal mind. You vs a character in your dream is the same dynamic as you vs character in your life, just goes by different metaphysical rules. Be loving to even the scariest characters in your dreams instead of succumbing to fear or anger and see if they turn into something you love. And then apply the same rule in waking life. -
Not knowing intellectually is more honest than knowing intellectually, but experientially they both are the same, you can not know something experientially with total honesty but also have a genuine, authentic insight into something experientially which is as honest as it gets.

@Chumbimba You don't remember the experience? Like you took way too much and your memory couldn't handle it? Or didn't really effect you much and you can't recall how it affected you? If youre doing LSD make sure you you test the substance to make sure it is real LSD and measure your dose so you know what it is. Also no need to pussy out of shrooms. Just be in a happy/calm/relaxed state of mind, and measure 1g of dried shrooms. Will not be overwhelming. Definitely don't pass it up. Just be conscious of set an setting, ideally do it by yourself and not with other people or in a loud busy environment. -

Kratom isn't really a consciousness enhancer its a mind/body primer or used to do certain tasks for me. Helped me so much with pain and makes low intensity workouts/movement play extremely enjoyable. Can feel the mechanics of my body better. But it does make me very empathetic and sociable so I can connect with people a lot deeper. Although I do use it before meditation or other consciousness practices at certain times. A clear focused mind does make a difference for consciousness work. Never heard or experienced kratom breath, seems like you just experienced your foul morning breath which is totally normal. Its also good to make sure you get it from a quality vendor, one that is certified not to contain any heavy metals or other toxins. Also fun fact tumeric/black pepper/grapefruit/citrus juice potentiates the effect. And the healthier your diet and more active you are the better your body handles it. Once I optimized my diet I never experienced any kratom headaches/nausea or withdrawals/strong urges to use it. -
