  1. there is no such thing as unearned wisdom. rather, the phrase points to those who believe they have gotten somewhere they haven't
  2. set a goal and intention for the retreat no phone increase practice leading up to retreat so you have more stamina and so the retreat is MORE productive... instead of falling into a groove until after a couple days.
  3. Been feeling something like this for a while. Coming back off a mini meditation retreat I came back with perhaps even less preference for sex. I was invited by friends to a strip club and happily went but ended up reading meditation books instead while giving the strippers some money intermittently just to be nice since it was a little slow.
  4. @JosephKnecht You're overthinking the whole ordeal. When you flip the concept of GOD inside out unto itself we get --> DOG. aka Dog Consciousness, Doggie Mind,
  5. @gswva absolutely do. thats next!
  6. I don't think so mate. The point is to see through the ego entirely and LIVE, as opposed to unable to see through it and KILLING YOURSELF INSTEAD. LIVING is a beautiful thing
  7. Can this help with carpal tunnel? Ready been looking at qi gong and tai chi for a while
  8. @Enlightenment I would say modafanil is less jittery than caffeine. You feel awake (not awakened lol). more effective with less of those unwanted side effects of jittery anxiety ime
  9. @Jacobsrw maybe all this pretentious OCD behavior is worse than letting my attention run a little wild with clips of ass n titties shaking on my phone screen, or silly clips TikTok videos
  10. I wont claim enlightenment or whatever the he'll that means, but post the non dual shift in experience its hard to take anything in life too seriously, namely "my purpose". I just finished college and frankly I am afraid, confused, and lost. Maybe nothing to do with enlightenment and just regular post grad dilemma LOL with a clickbait title
  11. I really like sales but am turned off by the sharkish sociopathic qualities in lower consciousness work environments.
  12. @Average Investor Yep. That is exactly what I was thinking man. But I guess I was looking for inspiration. I guess I already knew I had to make my own thing from scratch. School has been a rollercoaster so far and am certainly not keen on going back (though I finally graduated) Thanks. Youre a quality poster on this forum
  13. @Xochiquetzal makes a lot of sense. Musicians as well id say
  14. @Consilience I completely agree with the sentiment
  15. Thanks man! I feel like I'm slowly figuring this out
  16. @KingCrimson Jethro Tull also fantastic. Fun and inspiring. Aurora - daydreamer
  17. @wordsforliving definitely enlightened and extremely loving
  18. @Leo Gura Would you say if people are drawn to your content there is a high chance they are spiritually talented... Maybe not Michael Jordan tier but perhaps college level or something like that
  19. I downloaded this app called Habits. Put down a few of the habits you REALLY care about developing. You can go on the app and put a check mark next to each habit once you do it. It allows you to visually see which habits you've been skipping in the past few days and therefore you can plan an commit to how you will make sure you do it the next day. It's also good to put things that you feel would TRULY make a great impact on your life. Meditation... probably, etc... Therefore, when you catch yourself doing something else like reaching for the TV remote, you will reconsider how it aligns with your goals and life.
  20. @docs20 can you share some info or give details. interested
