As far as I understand his model deals more with the transpsychological stages of consciousness that's not really the deal of spiral dynamics. Also, I also find other integral models much more precise than spiral dynamics but they have all a similar taste. I'm interested in someone giving a great argument in why the hierarchical structure of all these models is flawed.

Just like Darwin's model of evolution, or the scientific narrative of atoms, to molecules, to cells, to organisms. Or fish, to rodens, to mammals, to apes, to humans. Spyral dynamics is an attempt to differentiate and integrate human value systems into a grand narrative. Obviously, the narrative is just that. A great story. However, this story in my opinion allows a less judgmental, and more effective interaction with the world at least in comparison to all other narratives I had before. The purging of Aya and Kambo feels very different. Puking on Kambo is like puking when you are sick. You feel sick to your stomach physically so you purge.
