  1. @IJB063 You're making a lot of assumptions, you might want to start questioning their validity, just saying.
  2. @Camerong I agree with most of what you say, yet I would advice to take whatever he says with a spoonful of salt whenever he tries explain enlightenment or other spiritual concepts with this model, he's got a pretty heavy "when all you've got is a hammer, the world looks like a nail" syndrome, it's like this model is his metaphysics, which is quite limiting. Otherwise, I've found that actually most of what he says about the types themselves and how they interact with each other to be quite shockingly accurate to my experience.
  3. @OmniYoga Turns out he's doing it to raise money for charity, so I stand corrected
  4. I didn't expect to come to this thread and have my feelings about weed actually change in the favor of smoking less... But I'm glad it did
  5. I didn't see anyone mention that Mike's getting ready to fight again, seems like a partial regression to me.
  6. @Leo Gura It's still good for the spiral, right? To me, it seems like a mix of yellow with a little turquoise that is well suited to help the materialistic, rationalistic orange to see past it's current dominant perspective and kind of trick them into green/yellow
  7. It gets really sexy when science and spirituality mingle in a cohesive way
  8. My body loves them. I squeeze some lemon on them and sprinkle some Himalayan salt, it's absolutely delicious!
  9. If you haven't heard about Dr. K or "HealthyGamerGG" He's a Harvard Educated Psychiatrist with a background in Eastern meditation and yoga. In this video he touches on Ego Defense Mechanisms and simplifies it so well that if you're interested in this topic then it's a must-see.
  10. @SamueLSD No, it's not a "model / path" in the way you think it is. Read my previous post in this thread which is directly above your post to get what I mean This is something that if you ignore, it will most likely come back to haunt you one day.
  11. Your body/mind (same thing ultimately) is not some shitty hardware, it's the most advanced and sophisticated system/tool that we know of, and it was gifted to you at birth (You gifted it to yourself that is). You just don't know how it works or how to use it properly, so it doesn't function properly and you start feeling like sh*t. The good news is, this gift you got given at birth, can heal and regenerate itself, so if you learn the basics like how to sit, stand, walk, breathe, lie down, eat and breathe correctly, things like joyfulness, clarity, energy, etc. will naturally arise.
  12. Like DreamScape said, they are real, but don't get caught up in visual representations or descriptions of Chakras, or in other people's opinions or beliefs about Chakras, tune into the sensations of your internal body and discover them for yourself. I also recommend you learn to sit, stand, walk, lie down and breathe correctly, for if any of these (in most people's cases, ALL OF THESE) are out of balance, it will cause blockages in not only your Chakras, but other parts of your body too (which all relate to Chakras, because chakras are just the center points of different systems in your body, like nervous systems, digestive system and vascular system. No one system or model will make you get it, you have to study the whole thing and see the bigger picture, instead of just buying into either the Western medical perspective, or just the eastern mystical perspective, see how they're really just describing different parts of the same thing in different ways.
  13. There's definitely a lot of people who wear spirituality as some badge or make an identity out of it, but that's not what spirituality is about, and people who do that largely miss the true essence and purpose of spirituality, which truly does exist, have no doubt about it.
  14. It's quite a big claim that would be very easy to document and present with simply a few photos/videos. Has he done this? I've had periods in my life where I've been super healthy, and I've had periods in my life where I've been extremely unhealthy, but my eye color has always stayed the same.
  15. I wonder how he came to that conclusion..
  16. Just wait until the fanfictions start popping up
  17. @Leo Gura It's too late to resist now Leo. Join us. Join the dark side of the force.
  18. There's a guy who goes by the names Dr. K, or HealthyGamerGG, he's a Harvard educated psychologist/psychiatrist and also has a lot of experience with spiritual stuff such as meditation, yoga etc which he weaves nicely into his practice (Check him out on YouTube/Twitch, he's got fantastic content), he's Indian btw and apparently is a disciple of some Guru but I don't know all the details. He mentioned past lives a few times on his stream but didn't go into depth, until one day he went a little more into depth when asked to, and basically what he said is that it's not logical or rational to just believe in past lives and that most of his life he didn't buy it either until he experienced a flood of memories and recollections that seemed to be from a past life when in deep meditation, and they felt just as "real" as any other memory. Sadly I can't find the exact video where he talked about it, but in summary, he says that experiences of having strong recollections of past lives that seem just as real as any other recollections or memories is a real thing that happens to people. There's more to it but yeah.
