I don't like how he made this about voting, because the problem and solution is more complex than that.. but I do like how he had an emphasis on not just voting for President, but at all levels of government. I know it's contradictory, but that's how I feel.

If you study the true history of the American Empire, you will see that the United States has been the WORLD's police for the past century. Similar levels of over-reach and straight up murder. Similar brutality. Similar racism and oppression of innocent people. I hope this goes global, because this is not about just one black man or American cops. This is about an empire gone way too far with their tyranny.

Huh? You mean the exception is if you're voting for someone unpopular basically? I think you had an extra 'not' in there. Voting is there to give us the illusion that we have choice/control. That went out the door decades ago. No matter who's in office, we still continue the same evil shit all around the world. It's criminal beyond belief. No other way to put it. In such a system, your non vote speaks louder than your typical "lesser of two evils" vote. Or as @tenta suggested, at least vote for someone unique.

My first thought is the source of the news video you posted is trash. Idk how we can ban conspiracy theories on this forum and simultaneously allow mainstream media.. if we are going to play that game, we should look into a no mainstream media rule as well (and define what MSM means, because it's everywhere). People here don't realize how manipulative MSM is. It makes you think and feel a certain way and there is a lot of engineering that goes on behind that. Don't you remember John Stewart and the montaugue's he did showing you how they all talk the same way and even read off the same scripts? Regarding this story.. it's an extremely dangerous thing what's happening with censorship with Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and Twitter. It was bad enough how much of our information was controlled before the Internet, now that too is near full control. Once you give away freedom, you never get it back. All these measures in the name of safety and security are sending us straight into the dystopian reality we've been warned about our whole lives. In the words of George Costanza: "It's all just slipping away.. and you're letting it happen!"

You should see the full video of Floyd's murder if you haven't already. Then you will see it's obvious the cop wanted this man dead. It was no accident. Then maybe this will inform future realizations into what's happening in this world right now. Dig deeper than the same news sites you've been following. Nothing is as it appears. The media's response to this is not as it appears. Nor is the local government's response. Nor are the ensuing violent riots. Open your eyes.

This is just another opportunity to divide the people. Civil war has been brewing for a long time. Don't fall for it.

Just looking to see if anyone can recommend any good graphic designers they've used in the past on Fiverr. Ideally they would have a spirituality bias, but it might be my complete delusion thinking that's an important/necessary quality lol. In fact, I've used one guy in the past and was happy with the results (my current logo). It was just a bit of a headache communicating with him (from Bangladesh), so I'm looking for someone different to improve upon this logo, make banners, etc. I appreciate any suggestions!

The natural self-balancing mechanisms of societies don't care about our wishes for a gradual shift from within the system. The time for that has long past unfortunately. I don't like hate either and I believe it is trying to solve a problem with the same energy that created it. But nevertheless.. people do believe in what you superficially label as "conspiracy theories", and they are f'n angry. That is going to manifest and play out as it may, regardless of our wishful thinking.

It's nice when you articulate why you have an opinion on something rather than just say it's dumb/stupid/false. Thanks for that explanation, your perspective makes more sense now (still disagree though ♥️).

I believe recycling is a myth. It just exists to make us feel better. The vast majority gets thrown out, and the fraction that does get re-used is a wash (or worse) when you consider the amount of energy that goes into the entire process. As @Roy alluded to, the source of the problem is our over-consumptive behavior, as well as our severance from spirit. We don't really feel a connection to everything that is, including nature. Most of our motivation to "go green" comes from guilt, which is not the kind of energy we need to embrace if we truly want to turn this thing around.

Yep.. and I would even go as far as to say it is like this by design. Natural hierarchies of societies don't want the common people to have nuance and complexity in their thinking. They are more easily controlled this way. So we're constantly fighting and arguing about our identities and ideologies of right vs. wrong. It keeps us going in circles rather than realizing how much more we have in common than different. We do it too, right here on this forum.
