  1. I’ve been watching his channel for a while now. I’m very interested in the machine elf phenomenon. It’s pretty fascinating how the machine elves tell him everything that Leo tells us. I guess if you were an ultra advanced hyper dimensional race, you would have to know all this stuff.
  2. You are your body. But you are also everything else.
  3. I seriously doubt they would ever require you to take a 7g dose of mushrooms in order to obtain a license for psychedelic use. ? That’s an absurd and dangerous amount. Perhaps they might have you take normal threshold doses just to see how you respond to each kind of psych.
  4. I usually bust out into a hysteric crying/laughing fit. It feels mind-numbingly beautiful, terrifying, and hilarious simultaneously.
  5. What else could there “be”?
  6. I will often wake up In the middle of the night with a borderline migraine after a high dose mushroom or 4-aco-DMT trip. I think it’s pretty normal. Just a plain ol’ NSAID will usually do the trick though.
  7. 5-HTP, Magnesium citrate, Caffeine, Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen, and lots of water usually works for me.
  8. Maybe if you have some abnormal neurology. There are people who meditate tens of thousands of hours and do not get anywhere close to that level of consciousness sober. I have thousands of hours under my belt myself and am nowhere close to that. What is possible for you is not necessarily possible or reasonable for others.
  9. Haha, I was actually going to mention how woke this song is at one point. Check out this version tho
  10. Some religious people can surprise you. At my old “church” that I grew up at, there were people who claimed to have experiences of God and described very similar things to what Leo describes. Infinity, Perfect Love, Infinite Beauty, Intelligence, Eternity, etc etc. Some of them even described Oneness. (not an aspect that was particularly emphasized) Of course they were attributing these things to an all powerful being they ultimately think is separate from themselves. I think that they may have had actual experiences of God, but they were just interpreting it through a Christian lens. They did not have the epistemological framework to understand it’s true implications.
  11. Well I can’t tell you what that substance is because Leo doesn’t seem to want to disclose it quite yet. All psychedelics will give you heightened introspection, but each one highlights different aspects. Cannabis is what I started with years ago, and it led me to have many of the main key insights and primed me before moving on to stronger substances. Despite what many people say, Cannabis has incredible potential for introspection and existential insight. That’s the easiest one to get a hold of. The next easiest one to get is mushrooms, and then perhaps 1P-LSD(which is personally one of my favorites) Obviously the one that will most likely give you the deepest realizations is 5-MeO-DMT, but that one not easy to get. You could always go to South America and have a 5-MeO ceremony if nothing else. Also, the places that give 5-MeO ceremonies usually do Ayahuasca ceremonies as well, and that substance can give you some of the deepest insights.
  12. Which substances have you tried already? And what kind of introspection are you interested in exactly?
  13. That’s really interesting. Crazy how differently psychedelics can effect different individuals. You’re certainly right, but you gotta admit, it’d still be pretty damn cool to meet a machine elf.
  14. @Leo Gura There are no visuals even at breakthrough doses?
  15. Trying to get people to jump or skip certain stages of epistemological development in my experience seems to be futile. If they aren’t even in the Rational stage yet, you certainly aren’t going to be able to get them to understand the Post Rational. One of my co-workers was talking to me about how she’s starting to question her faith and as soon as she said that I got this urge to start talking to her about non-duality, but I quickly realized that that was far too advanced of a concept for her while she’s still in the pre-rational stage. So instead of going balls to the wall non-dual on her, I decided to refer her to some philosophy/science books and documentaries that had led me out of Christianity and into the Rational stage/Atheism years ago. She has watched and read a lot of them and is more or less an atheist at this point. She has now seen why rationalism is superior to religious dogma. Once she settles into that, I may start introducing her to more advanced epistemology. I’ve kind of made her my project, haha. I really believe for people to have truly grounded epistemological understanding, they have to go through the subsequent stages of development and work through all the questions and philosophical problems in a certain order. Perhaps there are exceptions, but at least for me, I don’t think I could have progressed in any other way than I did.
  16. Yeah I was going to say... I don’t necessarily want to pressure anyone to do psychedelics, since some people either have a bias or some kind of mental instability that makes them not want to take them. Buuuut... if you really want to see what spirituality is leading up to without wasting several decades in grueling boring meditation and other spiritual practices, just pop a damn psychedelic. That will give you an instant sneak peak into what kind of consciousness is possible, and it should be all the motivation you’ll ever need.
  17. His deep wisdom is pretty motivational to me.
  18. Certainly good advice. Sometimes we gotta learn from the school of hard knocks. I started with 50ug and went up from there. Personally, I prefer LSD over Psilocybin. Well more accurately 1P-LSD, which I consider to be far far superior to regular ol’ LSD-25. But each psych hits different important notes of realization. Personally for me, 1P-LSD really hits home the paradoxical, strange loopy, infinite nature of consciousness/existence, whereas Psilocybin very clearly reveals how everything is imaginary, and how my thoughts create reality. Psilocybin just too often makes me feel like shit physically, with like stomach issues and feeling super heavy and disoriented. 1P-LSD gives me tons of energy with increased balance and coordination; an effect I often take advantage of in various incredibly fun ways.
  19. Did they look like you? I mean, wouldn’t you be able to recognize yourself?
  20. In order to have any sense of reality at all, you must collapse into something that appears consistent and objective. If everything was always fluid and changing spontaneously, you could not form a solid sense of reality or any logical coherent thought necessary to even ask the question. It must collapse into this, what we might call “base reality” Because Infinity must necessarily include every finitude. The completely unlimited must include all limitation, otherwise it wouldn’t be truly unlimited.
  21. It doesn’t “lose” meaning, because it never had any meaning to begin with and the very idea of meaning was always an incoherent notion. When you are attached to the idea of meaning, yes it will be painful when that idea is deconstructed. It will be like going through withdrawal emotionally. But there is a feeling that the human mind is capable of that does not depend on this amorphous idea of “meaning” to feel. And that is the feeling of deep fascination and beauty. Reality will always be infinitely bigger than your finite mind’s ability to comprehend, and when you connect with that mystery, you cannot help but see the beauty and wonder of reality. But that takes consciousness. When you are unconscious and asleep, you will take everything(even reality itself) for granted and you will see everything as mundane. Your ego mind will think it “knows” reality already, so what’s the big deal? When you wake up, you realize that you don’t know, nor did you ever know anything, and that your entire existence has always been Infinitely miraculous. And no, this feeling is not a product of the idea of “meaning”. The sense of beauty you feel in this case is your default state as Consciousness. Love and Beauty are, contrary to common wisdom, objective. Don’t believe me? See for yourself. Tear away the shroud of the ego and see what is left.
  22. Even a good dream can become way better once you realize you’re dreaming. Ever had a lucid dream?
