  1. @Bando I don't subcribe to redpill ideologies. I am against all this toxic stuff. But i recognize some truths. You can be very good with a women, but if she sees that you are not passionate about acquiring resources (mental and/or physical) she will quickly lose interest to you. The same goes for a woman that might be very sick and ill. Its gonna be hard to find her sexually attractive as male, even if you like her character. There are some evolutionary forces that are designed this very specific way. You are not supposed to go mate with women who are not fertile. Your ancestors are the ones who didn't do that ''mistake''.
  2. @flowboy Yes i agree. I dislike it a lot when some guys make getting laid like the ultimate objective in life. Also the idea that you will have enough sex and get bored of it, is not very realistic either in the long-term. The more sex you have, the more sex you want. You can never get rid of the desire. But you can stop the behavior.
  3. Recently i have been very interested in evolutionary psychology. I've learned some things and there are many more i want to learn. One of the things that i found super fascinating and counter-intuitive is that men (some men of course) can inflict costs to women (physical and mental abuse) so that they can lower their mate value, and as a result the women feel terrible about themselves , think they don't deserve any better and stay with their abusive partners. This tactic works very well. If it didn't work, it would not even exist. Also men have a monopoly the more violent the crime is. It's really incredible how all these very intelligent things work in the background without us even being aware of them.. I guess millions of years of evolution have left us with imprinted wisdom. Anyways, one of the thing that i don't understand is why (some) men end up killing their women. This does not seem wise from a reproductive standpoint. I don't understand it. It gets so weird, that some men end up killing their own children as a revenge because of their spouses leaving them... The guy in the video below, killed his own offsprings because they did not agree with him . If reproduction of ours genes is the goal, murdering your own children or your wife does not make much sense.
  4. @Devin These guys end up hurting themselves socially more than their wives could ever have. Many of them end up in jail serving life sentences. Others commit suicide afterwards. Also there any many murders among couples who are not even married, and therefore have nothing to separate.
  5. @JoeVolcano And that will give me the answer? Is that what you are implying?
  6. @Dumuzzi This is partially true. The problem is that there are many many men who are not psychopaths or narccisists who still end up killing their wives. Killing your spouse doesn't seem to serve any functional purpose. And usually these murders come along with rage and are not planned before.
  7. @JoeVolcano Untrue statement. Men who are clinging to women, end up having terrible lives. If your statement was true, convicts, Nikola Tesla, The Unabomber and Newton would have killed themselves because of no access to p*ssy. The opposite sex is not the end all be all. Human nature is much more complicated to be reduced to that. Still killing your woman, does not seem to serve any function, besides relieving the anger and difficult emotions.
  8. ATTENTION=>I agree with evoltution as a theory. I am not denying it. This is just a critique of its metaphysics. Some people don't read carefully the post and jump into conclusions. I am currently reading a book about evolutionary psychology. I get the sense that science gives explanations which don't explain much. For example natural selection and sexual selection is a useful explanation but fails to really explain how could a turtle have a shell in the 1st place. I think not in a billion years, a turtle could develope a shell by some random luck that just happened. This is a quote from the book. This scientist fills in the blanks with materialistic explanations. Otherwise the only other explanation left is God. I highly doubt in a trillion years a giraffe could happen to have a big neck variant. Everything just somehow happened and then we can explain it somehow. The Big Bang somehow happened and by some random brute luck we are all here with all this complexity and intelligence. This is very autistic and misses the point. Evolution is not blind, but those scientists sure are. They don't see God right in front of their eyes.
  9. @Leo Gura I like this arguement. Makes sense. But an additional somewhat contradictory arguement , is that females evolved to choose males who would give them gifts of food. But back in those days there was never such a massive resources inequality that there is today. For the majority of human history the inequality of resources was not extreme, especially before agriculture. So your claim is reasonable. Men with hunting skills were also very high status before agriculture.
  10. @Carl-Richard There is nothing outside of 'phenomenal' consciousness. And even if it is, you don't know actually know about such thing. You have no evidence about it. That is the issue right there with materialism. It assumes things which are not consciousness. This assumption is not based on any direct experience but rather on a fantasy. ''Scientific training is a very specific conditioning of the mind''
  11. @Carl-Richard How can you ever possibly know if a gene has thoughts or not? How can you even know if anything else has consciousness besides yourself to begin with?
  12. @JoeVolcano I think this is what Leo is suggesting aswell. He gave a top down explanation of the Universe in his States of Consciousness video. It makes some sense.
  13. @DocWatts Yes i agree with that. But today's science would have you to believe otherwise. Scientists are skeptical of everything, except their atheistic materialism.
  14. @Carl-Richard Yes All is God. I would be too naive too believe in some God that sits outside all of this. And i have several mystical experiences at this point , that make it impossible to do so. This is just another quote from the evolutionary psychology book i am currently reading. They strip away the intelligence, the consciousness behind of it all which i find very amusing and very disturing at the same time. They jump into metaphysical conlcusions that are not based on any 'solid' 'evidence'. How can this scientist know whether or not there is any intentonality behind all of this? I find it very arrogant and disrespectful to my intelligence.
  15. @Dryas Richard Wolff makes some very good points . He promotes a kind of arrangement between the employers and employees and a more democratic process. He is not all or nothing in his approach. He doesn't want one person to decide what 300 billion dollars are going to do (Elon Musk). He wants more people to have the power to decide what to do with that money and not let the whims of the few affect the lives of the many. Who decides if the money should be spent on Mars or on bettering the conditions on this planet first? You have a very socially inept person (Musk) affecting huge societal issues. Capitalism in its current form is not sustainable forever. Its going to collapse as a system sooner or later.
  16. @Carl-Richard I know very little about Creationism. That could have been debunked. But Intelligent Design has not been debunked. It has been called Blind luck.
  17. @something_else I am not claiming to be super high conscious. I just said that Consciousness is my #1 value. But this does not mean that i demonize sex or other things. Its all Consciousness in the end. Yes you are right about the mind playing games. I am not trying to demonize all this stuff. I want to understand it better. There are facets of life that i find very unpleasant and disturbing. Kinda like Leo's video about Truth and how Truth can very hard to shallow.
  18. @Leo Gura Yes i agree with that. It's tricky though with all these 'scientific' explanations from evolutionary psychology and etc. They create a sort of illusion like you understand more than you do.
  19. @Leo Gura No. Some people don't do 'anything' for money. Maybe you are over exaggerating or i am interpreting something else.
  20. @Carl-Richard That is my point too or at least partially. I don't believe in randomness. 'Apparent' randomness exists though for sure. If we are here by chance/randomness then this implies reality is not intelligent and therefore we should not even be talking about the word 'God' anymore. God is made redundant, if its all originated by some blind luck, that somehow happened. Intelligence means that everything has intention behind it. An engineer builds a house with clear intentions and doesn't leave anything at chance. Darwin wanted to answer the question. ''How is it possible that there are all these creatures who look like they were pefectly designed to fit their environment with such intelligence and beauty?'' Then he observed natural selection and created his theory. But still he did not answer the original question. Evolution tries to imply that there is no intention behind evolution. That is all dumb mechanical luck. That is the problem right there. When you explain something, you have the illusion that you've explained the whole thing. Evolution hasn't explained what is the underlying force that could allow such marvellous things to happen. Blind luck is the only explanation because God cannot be proven and is not suitable to their worldview. I find it funny how there are so many things that work so incredibly well without a single glitch and still the intelligence behind of it all is never acknowledged. It just baffles me..
  21. @Leo Gura I have this theory in my head.. I think women who were born with lack of money, seek money like crazy when they grow up. I see this pattern all the time. Its like they have a knee jerk reaction against lack of money and they are willing to do anything to get money.
  22. @Leo Gura This seems to contradict your initial post where you talked about how important status is. Resources and/or the properties that lead to acquisition of resources seem to be very important for women and clearly demostrated by the story i posted and other similar examples. If the old man in the story gave a card which said ''garbage collector'' , the woman wouldn't probably call him. Thats the harsh reality. It's not the only thing that matters though for sure. I recognize that there are many other attributes that women want like kindness, attentiveness, good health, intelligence, etc. I have come across many women who mostly care about wealth. I don't know what type of women you happen to meet and in what area. But there is some truth behind women chasing money for sure. I have experienced this and seen it too many times. I have also watched interviews of prostitutes who talk about how important money is for them. Some claim they care more about money than love, like the woman below.
  23. @UnbornTao High Consciousness is the best way to live your life and Consciousness is the #1 Value for myself. It trumps sex or money or anything else. If you were to give me 10 million dollars but be as conscious as Ted Bundy or give me nothing but be as conscious as Ramana Maharshi, if you are wise and intelligent enough you'll always choose the latter one.
  24. @something_else Yes this is true but you are always somewhat worried at the back of your mind, that some other guy might take her from you. (Unless you have 1% status or unless you are more high value than the woman). But even if you are 1% status, if you lose your health, your status will be worth much much less to a woman.. Health is an important component of status too. Especially if you date a beautiful woman, the chances that she will dump you for someone wealthier and 'better' are very very high. Thats why its advised to date women that are on your level. Its a difficult game to play. Also keep in mind that subconsciously the ego-mind is always looking for replacement. In case you lose your health or lose your wealth a woman will probably have a 'friend' as a backup. Men do that too. Its crazy if you think about it but makes sense. Survival is not fking around for sure.
