  1. @Breakingthewall Why do you find the emptiness terrifying?
  2. @ROOBIO The only way to overcome your fear of something, is by actually doing that thing you fear. There is no magic solutions around this. It's about action and not mental masturbation when it comes to fear. If you trust yourself then do it. If not then better wait.
  3. Apparently PsychedSubstance has been suffering from some very mild low Testosterone symptoms that may have been caused by his Kratom abuse over the years. He is not considering stopping the Kratom because that would him make him miserable & unproductive for weeks. He checked his testosterone levels and they were all within the ''normal'' range, although to the very low side. He is now injecting testosterone prescribed by his doctor. These doctors are really funny because some will prescribe you with testosterone while others won't even if you give them the same blood tests. Anyways the problem i have with this is the following : I think he is just creating another problem to solve a problem. His problem is probably the Kratom and not the low T. He is influencing other people with the mentality ''if i have low T, then i guess i need to inject some testosterone''. And i believe he hasn't thought through for all the possible consequences and pitfalls especially when he is much older. I have been involved with steroids and powerlifting and i have experience with this new trend of trt. Basically trt (testosterone replacement therapy) is very new. We don't even 100 year old studies on this stuff. We don't know how it can affect your prostate and etc when you are old. This new trend i am talking about is this myth that if you are over 40 or have low T, then immediately you should do yourself a favor and inject oil to your buttocks for the rest of your life. Maybe you have seen some doctors from trt clinics advising you this kind of stuff because they profit from this. This is absurd. Of course there are many people who would benefit from injecting testosterone BUT i see more and more people taking it for no good reason like PsychedSubstance. I believe PsychedSubtance has been heavily influenced by another heavy steroid user and Stage Orange youtuber over the last few weeks, More Plates More Dates his name is.
  4. @Michael569 The deep sameness is that drugs and porn both raise your dopamine. I am saying this because from what i know, if your brain produces tons and tons of dopamine then eventually you get depleted of dopamine and this can cause motivation issues. I don't know the deeper mechanics of it. But i have noticed this. You take tons of drugs or watch tons of porn, and then it seems your brain doesn't have enough dopamine and you struggle to find the motivation to do the things you would normally do. I remember when one time i went on a porn-binge and masturbated two days in a row for countless times. After than 2-day binge, i couldn't work 100% as i used to. I could only work like 1/3 of the amount. Didn't have enough of the neurotransmitters or whatever to keep on pushing. It took 3 days for my motivation levels to recover. This really made me quit watching porn. I don't experience the damage to the perception as other people do. But i definitely experience the motivation loss.
  5. The woman in this video claims to be a neuroscientist and says that if you watch Porn with duration and especially with intensity then your brain is being damaged. This is really scary stuff. But why would the brain damage itself anytime it gets some intense or long-duration pleasure? This makes no sense. And what about when having sex? What if i am having sex all the time with hot prostitutes? Won't that damage the brain the same way as porn? And what about if i am taking a psychedelic and experience intense pleasure? Won't that damage my brain also? Also, is this damage reversible? I see drug addicts who have been doing hardcore drugs for more than 30 years who still have the motivation to wake up in the morning and go to the bathroom. So i suppose that damage is reversible somewhat. I don't really know. I am not a neuroscient. It seems that there is some healing for sure though. Because she also said. Maybe someone who is knowledgable about this thing can enligthten me somehow. Those neural circuits that being fried, are they somehow being healed later?
  6. Some idiots obsess over iq like it is the universal measure of intelligence. Funny.
  7. I believe psychopathy is on a range and not something binary. Some people have more of it. But when it comes to acquiring billions and billions of dollars, do you have to be a psychopath in order to make it to the top? I am not talking about millions of dollars. I am pretty sure you can become a millionaire without being a psychopath but when it comes to billions of dollars, i believe only the most cruel, cold and vicious people make it up there. You have to stomp on a lot of bodies and not really care too much about all of the bottom of the pyramid. It's like you have to be extremely vicious to be a warlord at the time of Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great. Both of these were ruthless mass murderers. You couldn't become Genghis Khan by being someone like Jesus or the Buddha. If the current billionaires were more loving and caring then i guess the current situation in this planet would be a lot better for all of us. Any thoughts?
  8. @IAmReallyImportant Most people with high IQ work for someone with an average IQ. Not the other way around.
  9. @Parththakkar12 Being a psychopath doesn't hinder your capacity of being a good marketer. Just the opposite. Being high on a psychopathy scale makes everything easier for you. Jeff Bezos is a good example of someone with high psychopathy.
  10. @captainamerica How would it not be a lot better if the CEOs were more loving and cared more about the people? Don't confuse intelligence with ruthlessness. Many intelligent people are not willing to do certain functions you are refering to. People are not robots. Some are more sensitive and have more empathy than others. This will affect their decision-making.
  11. @Parththakkar12 No i don't wish to ever become a billionaire. Only someone insane and with a huge ego would want so much power. But it is appealing because you could probably cause systemic changes and help solve serious problems people face. I don't know. I find it mind-blowing that we have managed to land a man on the moon, create all these sophisticated technology BUT we still haven't managed to eradicate hunger. This is insane to me. It's ridiculous. And probably explains how much underdeveloped we are a species in terms of our psychology.
  12. @Gregory1 Yeah and also exploited tons of people. Used shady business tactics to demolish Netscape's web browser off the market. (Talking about Bill Gates). I doubt he would be that powerful if he wasn't a devil. You can't play fair and reach that level of power and influence bc you are competing with other sharks who are as ambitious as you are. Bill Gates is not an angel but certainly more conscious than the average Joe. I admire though his philanthropy work in Africa.
  13. @Opo Good point. I didn't mean that you were taking stuff also. . Only ideological sameness i was refering to. No because when you take test you run the risk of permanently damaging your own test production. That means you'll be forced to stick a needle for the rest of your life. What you mentioned was basically the reasoning behind him wanting to start trt. His reasoning was ''let me start the T, cut off the kratom, and then maybe kick off the test''. When the wiser choice would be the other way around. ''let me stop the kratom, and then maybe start the test if needed''. I think you are never ready to quit a drug as an addict. I had that motivation and it's really not worth it in the long run. You will never be satisfied by how your body looks, especially 30 years down the line. Now i love my body way more than i used to when i had the ''perfect'' physique. But to each its own. I think he is careful. But maybe he will regret in a few decades from now. I know i did. I didn't want to be dependent on any substance for the rest of my life. And all those blood checks and etc are a pain in the ass. He will always have to be aware of his blood pressure, hemotocrit and prostate more than everybody else. Trt is a serious life-long commitment. and i think trt is not studied enough and there many things we still don't know. This is why many doctors are hesitant to prescribe you with it even if you have low T.
  14. @Opo Yes i was also like you ideologically. I was taking a bunch of uneccesary drugs like Piracetam, testosterone and whatever could improve me somehow. But what i've found is that when you add a bunch of chemicals into your body and even supplements, this can lead to some unwanted effects in the long run. Many times i'ts a gamble. Basically, if you take a drug that is giving you such great results, you might wonder what is the cost of that. There is always a cost involved. I am not against biohacking or anything. But i believe that we should be careful by adding a bunch of stuff into our systems because It's a lot we don't know yet... Many times we try to improve our system by taking substances and we achieve the opposite effect. I was taking 250mg of test every week. This raised my T a lil bit over the normal range. It's ok that PsychedSubstance is open about his trt . He is just not comletely honest and transparent about his motivations. I would like to see him doing the right thing and trying out other solutions 1st. Instead he did the emotional easy thing. But not everyone can be a role mode. I understand that. He has weaknesses like all of us. I believe overall his Kratom use put him in a corner and he didn't want to suffer. Thats why he made the decisions he made. He found a quick and easy solution to his problem.
  15. @AtheisticNonduality I remember like today when he began using amphetamines for his ADHD. I immediately knew that this was a bad idea. And he came to that same conclusion after 4 years. Most of these drugs are horrendous for you. Some people need them , no doubt. But many people could live without them. A huge problem that i see in my country is that people may suffer from anxiety or depression, they go to a psychiatrist and almost everytime they get prescibed to take drugs fro the rest of their lifes. These psychiatrists are some of the worst of the worst in my opinion. I think it is also one of the profession with the most suicides. Because they can never truly help anybody.
  16. I usually sleep from 6 to 7.5 hours. Be wary for people telling you that you should sleep X amount of hours every single night. The truth is that nobody knows exactly how many hours a person should sleep. I find it that if i am very active all day then i tend to sleep more compared to if i sit on a computer all the time.
  17. How conscious is he? His level of Consciousness seems to be the average of every American i would say. I think he is an interesting case to study. Lol. An analysis of his ego is worth it to understand the average modern man in Western societies. Or maybe this is just a distraction.
  18. @Opo For the most part i was taking trt dosages and not abusing. It's called blast and cruise. The reason i can compare is because before i began using steroids, i tested my Testosterone. It was normal but also towards the low side. And because i was heavily influenced by other youtubers i found the perfect excuse to start using steroids. All i wanted was that excuse because i really wanted to try steroids. I was perfectly fine and healthy with the T levels i normaly had. He is doing it because he believes it will make him feel better while working. His test wasn't that low to cause serious problems. He didn't even have major symptoms. But ok let's say he felt he needed to have better testosterone levels and be more optimal. That's understandable. But his first approach was to start taking testosterone without addressing the root cause which may be his Kratom abuse. That's the problem right there. If he had tried everything and after few months his T was still low , then he could say ''fk it , i tried everything, trt is my last solution''. Injecting testosterone and being dependent on it for the rest of your life is serious. Imagine being 80 years old and having to inject yourself. But even if you do patches, you still have to monitor that sh*t until you die. It's a very serious life-long commitment. Not a decision to be made lightly.
