It's kinda natural to me to feel things deeply. What was unnatural - if you will - was learning how to disconnect from block or control feelings. So I imagine the answer is; surrender.

All you need is some space and time for yourself. Silence. Away from any form of distraction. Sit, make yourself feel comfortable. Select an object near you and place your focus on it. Let's say; a cup. This first method is kinda similar to the well known hand method. You stare at it until you become conscious its God... But, I will slice things a bit differently here. First you stare at the cup and realize that what you're staring at is actually a thought or a belief. You believe that 'thing' is a cup. It's that simple. For what you know (or don't know) it could be anything. I want you to come to a 'place' - if you will - where you see that thing for the very first time, ever. You have absolutely no idea what it is. Do this not through thought processing but through staring the layers away. Strip away everything you believe you know about that 'thing'. Untill you are left with an unidentified object. Even the notion of an object must go at the end. Now slowly, gently, spread that emptiness and purity all across the room. Your entire experience. The entire present moment. Let everything slowly slip into the unknown. Let all believes dissolve into the light of pure presence. Breathe consciously. The second method requires the same environment. Peace, silence, no disturbance. This time you want to give away your focus. Do not focus on anything at all in your visual field. Simply breathe (through thoughts and sensations) and let your focus dissolve. Now in your peripheral; start 'searching' for an 'end'. Try looking for a border. A point where your vision ends. You should no longer be doing this using focus - since it has dissolved - but rather; by spreading your awareness around these areas. Try increasing the definition of the 'corners' of your visual field. You will find that there is no end to it and that it's kinda curled around you. You might start seeing a (crystal) ball. Fill it with as much awareness and definition as you can. Cultivate and project Light. But leave focus out of the picture. Your focus - if the method is done right - should be the entirety of the field. The whole ball. Not placed somewhere inside of it. And there you go. For me; these two methods are kinda like quick access to God Consciousness. It might not work that quick for you. Or you know... at all. But it's worth a share. Let me know if you give it a try.

To me; true freedom and true oneness is the ability to commit to a perspective and ride that wave all the way through. Without having the need to remind myself or anyone else that there is no me and that everything simply is.

It's like you're throwing the relative into the thrash. Or labeling it as less important than the Absolute. Which is, absolutely, a mind-fuck. Because it's all One haha. They are not two separate realms of existence. So yeah. That's what's bugging me in what you're saying. I smell avoidance, denial and negation. Regarding there being a you or not, and there being free will or not... in short; Whatever the fuck you say, dude. There's nothing above you. No one who could set rules for you. No one who could determine anything for you. There is just you doing whatever the fuck you wanna do. And what all that is, how and when it is - is all secondary. Those are all just perspectives. Sides. Fractures of the Whole. The fracture is The Whole. And The Whole can be fractured infinitely. It does it all by itself, yes. But it... is you.

That's an interesting question. I don't know... But I will speculate a bit. If there is a root cause of behaviour at the core of these individuals and it can be healed; it's not going to be done through group meetings and collective programs. The individual simply must have the will to gain introspection. If anything; 1 on 1 could do some good. That way some serious guidance could be offered and the individual could find their way home - so to speak. But of course, that's not gonna happen on a grand scale. It's an impossible mission. Truth is - I think - these souls will simply have to learn and evolve through trial and error. It's going to be a long process. But eventually; light will prevail. In the meantime - sadly - victims will also be a part of the game. That's the kicker of free will, ultimately. You can do whatever the fuck you want. And that includes violating other's free will. Being aware of that freedom and still choosing to respect everyone else's boundaries requires a higher level of intelligence. Some wisdom and integrity. Awareness. Heart. And many are far from reaching those levels.

Ahh... I remember the first time I turned into a coffee table... The joy and wonder of this journey...

@Mason Riggle Ok. So what are you saying, actually? Is it that spiritual practices and methods are useless or not needed? If so; I hope you can see how stupid that claim is. Or maybe you're saying you cannot do the work before the time for you doing it comes - if it comes. Or you know... whatever. That's a bit less stupid, but still holds no water. To me; you're coming across with strong determinism vibes. Like you have no say in shit. Like you cannot do anything because everything is already done. And yes, that's also true - in a sense - but not the entire Truth. Also; I hope you're not taking any of this too personally. I'm just enjoying the debate.

You must, if you are serious about this work. If you're all loosey goosey about it; then I guess it doesn't matter what the fuck you do. I'm not discrediting your claims. Everything is always and already perfect. There is no plan that could go wrong. I'm just saying there is also action to be taken. Choices to be made. Methods to try out... Etc. You should be striving to become more conscious because of you. Not me, or God's plan or anything else. But... what you do is your thing. I'm just suggesting you're not seeing the whole picture.
