  1. Well, the day it happened I got this enlightenment certificate from the sky. Of course I also got @Leo Gura's official "Actualized.org Lifetime achievement award" and a lifetime of free cookies from subway. But yeah, besides from that, let's do not loose ourselves in undefined concepts. If you ask such a question you should define the two words because they are heavily over-loaded based on what you think and which concepts you follow. And even if you do, I won't answer. Cuz I got work to do now that's more important. Now, the only question for you that is still relevant is: "Can he really be enlightened and such a dick simultaneously?" Wonder, wonder ...
  2. Seems like purging to me. Don't try to make sense out of it. It's your mind that's releasing tons and tons of stress, emotions, thoughts. It'll do that in ways you won't get at first because it doesn't make sense. Well, it doesn't have to. It's your mind. It doesn't work logically. Just let it be and wait until you can see yourself what happened.
  3. It's like saying: "I don't understand why I shouldn't shoot with a bazooka when you never even held a pistol." Only that with psychedelics it's way more drastic then this metaphor.
  4. It means that your mind seems to process a lot of stuff. Get used to it. I had a phase in which I dreamed that way 5 out of 7 days a week for 6-8 months. This can be quite intense stuff. Yes, meditation is releasing unconscious blocks from your mind/memory and your dreams seem to process them.
  5. @LaucherJunge, you have no idea what you are getting yourself into. If your only experience with psychedelics is pot you have no idea. But I'm pretty sure that you'll fuck up the smoking thing anyway if it's your first trip. DMT is very hard to smoke. You need a lot of good technique and skill. So this way you'll probably just get a mini dose in your first trip and nothing happens. I needed like 3-10 trips and 2 smoking devices to really get it going. @Leo Gura, @Markus, I would invite you to make your own experiences. I'd agree with Martin Ball and Rali that the permanent change in consciousness is not comparable with 5-MeO for example but every DMT trip has brought me a lot of insight. Most trips for me have one specific theme that is displayed and explained (similar to shrooms). And that in and of itself can have a transformative effect. Plus, shooting out of your body and meeting aliens in different universes for the first few times will be a crazy experience for everyone.
  6. Yeah, read up about sleep paralysis, hallucinations, astral projection etc. It's a whole different world to explore. Have fun.
  7. I'd recommend some drugs for you, lady. Some good drugs. To prove to you that their is neither a body nor a mind that could ever die. (I'm for real here.)
  8. I just have the audio files on my laptop and listen to it over headphones or monitors. Nothing fancy.
  9. EMDR self-therapy. Research it, it'll get rid of your thoughts in a few sessions. I'll talk about it in the future.
  10. Can be, I don't know. I went for enlightenment because it felt right. I am very intrigued by nature and contemplated since I can think. So when I heard about it from Leo I was like: "Whuuuuut? This shit is possible?" So there was never a need to push myself or something. It was how things went. So it's right for me. However, I'd say it's not for everybody at all. A lot of people need to experience other things on the "table of experiences" and they will have their "enlightenments" through that. One thing you'll realize after enlightenment (stream entry), is that you have just been introduced to a new "table of experiences". To a new show. So there are at least a few other fields in consciousness you can get enlightened about and they'll probably be even harder to get into. For example understanding how relativity works, what an object is, what emotions are, what thoughts are, how this dream works, how nothingness works... etc. So yeah, let's see where it takes us.
  11. I do it once a year here in Germany with my buddies as well. It's a great way to leave your normal work routine behind and really experience a kind of different world for a few days.
  12. "And when the end of consciousness comes, there is Nothing to be afraid of. Nothing at all."
  13. I had a very interesting and deep mushroom trip two days ago. I will probably share it here when I have time. This will definitely answer how I relate with the Absolute. The other questions I think should've been answered by now if you look throughout the thread.
  14. If you wanna get the most out of it just follow the easy instructions. Sit down with it, eyes closed and just listen while doing nothing. It helped me a lot. I use it every time I meditate. The levels are building up, so you need to start at the Prologue and work yourself up. Be careful here, you're fucking with your brain.
  15. @Hsinav, what's a 5-MeO-DMT meditation? Did you do while meditating? How was the trip?
  16. I think you can answer this one for yourself with common sense.
  17. Not really, no. I mean my character is still the same and there is a lot of stuff you could still actualize. Maybe I will in the future, probably. But it doesn’t bother at all. I love myself and what I do very whole-heartedly and I can see why I function the way I do.
  18. I can still smell a kind of hate when you write that. A kind of disgust. First of all personality does not equal ego. I hate when people get that wrong because it's such a sad concept to work with. Ego is we could say pretty contrary to personality. Ego is keeping your personality "in place". I resists your personality so that it doesn't go too far. That it doesn't make a mess. It's like a guardian for the personality. Picture your personality as a little child and your ego as a protector that needs to make sure the whole system survives. If you are not aware of this distinction it is natural that both of these sides will get in conflict because they have different goals to achieve. The personality wants to express itself in the very individual way it is and the protector tries to make sure the personality doesn't go too far with that. That's why we say that the ego doesn't get killed when you get enlightened but that it integrates, meaning it gets into contact with the personality and learns to work with it ... instead of against it. That's why when you get enlightened you don't perceive ego or personality that much any more but just a flow. Because the system works fluently and no conflict is rising up. The very peak of that is if you see the personality and ego work together having a good time. That is very possible. There are a few other little "entities" that make up your whole system that I didn't mention here. We could say that your expression in this world mostly consists of sadness, anger, inspiration and love. And all these 4 little factors grow into own entities with time and make up your reality. And all of them are in their pure expression beautiful and stunning but only when they resist each other they become a mess. So, how do you act authentically then. Recognize these 4 factors in every expression you manifest. Every sensation, feeling, thought etc. Recognize how they work together and how they resist each other. Speak to them and ask them what they want and why they are doing what they are doing. And wait for an answer. They will answer. Acting authentically is accepting all of these 4 factors and not trying to get rid of them. Because when that happens, the most amazing things follow. Be assured. -- @Prabhaker, I really think I gotta stock up on some Osho books. Your quotes are way too amazing. It really resonates with me. Any suggestions where to start with his work?
  19. I would be very, very careful with such a categorization because it leads you in a wrong direction. On a merely rational level you can (as shown above by the other answers) argue that you are more conscious if you can contemplate / think / investigate / meditate deeper. If you can soak in reality deeper. Makes perfect sense. But it presents this distinction as something that you can actually manipulate and change. Meaning that you can increase your awareness like you can speed up your car. And although you can partake in activities like meditation and contemplation that will free up and sharpen your body/mind, this is never something that you consciously influence. When you partake in these activities, what you are doing is throwing wood into a fire and hope that it'll do it's thing, but you can never be sure that it burns in the way you want it to. And it might seem that it actually dies off in the process although it just needs time to inflame all the new wood you put in. That's why somebody who seems very low-consciousness can actually be more conscious - it's just that he needs to purge so much shit that you cannot tell as a beginner or intermediate student. To conclude, keep throwing wood into your fire and just relax. It'll burn you out when the time comes. Until then, have a burger.
  20. I must have forgotten. You tried it 100 times and came to this wise conclusion, I guess.
  21. Yeah, that's wrong. Leo has like tons of hours of video explaining how to grow yourself with psychedelics and you'll find a bizzilion trip reports and opinions on this forum. Is it the only way? Of course not. Is it one of the fastest ways? Probably ...
  22. I have experiential proof. It weighs 30mg and comes in powder. Feel free to prove it to yourself.
