@Truth Addict Yes i can. It is actually what brings me the most peace. I've been spending a bit too much time here on the forum..gonna need to dial it back.

@AnaCristina doesn't matter really. With OCD the obsessive thoughts aren't real. They're self deception. They pop up out of nowhere, often from certain triggers within the subconscious that are really hard to figure out.

@Buba Enlightenment will liberate you from the obsessions but it will only be during the mystical experience. Mystical experience isn't even the right word. The right words are direct consciousnes of God. Being God. Apon return to duality you will linger between states for some time and still enjoy the bliss and the lack of obsessions. But ultimately as you return to the Ego the obsessive thoughts will return..but they will be lessened. You have tapped into Infinite Intelligence. Your consciousness will be raised a thousand fold. But you must continue the work. Make it your life's work and become more and more in tune with Being. The more aligned with God the less the obsessions and the happier you are. Additonal mystical states may be required to completely remove them but it is possible. Afterall, we are talking about Absolute Infinity.

@lennart wanna know why? Because you were just being. Your mind wasn't conceptualizing everything like it does now You were closer to Being as a child than you ever were as an adult. That's why the return to Being is so liberating. Become the Absolute.

@abrakamowse you have a lifetime. Be patient. Im 48. I know i dont look it i have a baby face. But it happened at 48. I had a lifetime of egoic suffering. Stumbled on Leo for an alcohol addiction. Started doing self inquiry and it happened about a few weeks in of meditation. It's real. It's moving thru me now. Just be in the moment and let the illusion of free will take you where it will. You're intuition is pointing you there. It will happen when the time in your life is right. But it will happen otherwise you were not meant to be on this site right now.

@Markus you wouldn't be posting this if you were in a non-dual state. Are you saying you are transitioning to the ego and back to God a couple of times within a few weeks? What have you become conscious of?

@Truth Addict This one is hard to answer on an internet forum. But from my personal experience anything i have ever achieved in my life i have had to devote all my time to. But it was out of pure passion to accomplish that goal. What I'm saying is that if you want it bad enough you just will make it a priority in your life without thinking. It will just happen effortlessly. So how bad you want it? Thats what it all comes down to in life. Well, in the life of duality of course Oh and yeah...fuck yeah it's worth it. It will melt you. Literally.

@Ponder Ponder you are not enlightened my friend. I've been reading your posts this past week and you have hit non-dual states for sure..and you are a very intelligent guy with fairly high consciousness levels but you did not become conscious of Absolute Love yet. And your notions of coral are all screwed up if there is a coral.

@tedens i think that really is the underlying cause for things like OCD. Irrational doubts. In his case his Ego is doubting enlightenment because it is fighting change and because the ego is a self deception machine. It's a big ego trap that can get a lot of people stuck in this work.

@abrakamowse yeah that's a tough one especially coming from the Materialist Paradigm our whole lives. I know what Leo would say right now. 5-Meo would push right through that doubt and overwhelm the ego in seconds. If you let go to it.

@abrakamowse one thing to add is there can be a healthy form of doubt which leads to skepticism. in searching for truth Rene Descarte had doubts about anything and everything which led him to question everything but in a good way. He pondered the Mind/Body problem which is where that term came from. He eventually dismissed it off and didn't dig far enough but that was all healthy doubt leading to skepticism. His saying was "I think therefore I am!" Meaning the only thing he didnt doubt was his own mind..which turns out was a bad idea!

@Aaron p from a non-dual perspective yes..but we are talking about from a duality perspective.

Interesting side note..they call OCD the doubt disorder because a lack of certainty causes anxiety. We all want certainty. But you only feel complete certainty when you become the Absolute - or Infinity. For example you may leave your house and suddenly get a thought that you left the oven on. Then you get lost in what if concepts and did i or not? And it causes the ego anxiety. But rather than being in what's actual you get lost in concepts. When they happen try to realize they are just thoughts and dismiss them..stay in the present moment. Stay in what's actual.

Absolute Truth transcends all religions. And it is Absolutely Infinite. Therefore it can be One..and partition itself into parts. Its still One but at the same time it is also all of its parts. Look at one of the fingers of your hand and notice that it is a finger. But also notice at the same time its the whole hand. Here is the best part...its YOU.

@CreamCat i agree with you. But what about the folks that can't pave their own way? Just let them suffer in poverty? That's where the higher stages come in. We as egos want to think about ourselves. I'm totally with you. But as we evolve we have to try and be conscious of others while at the same not negatively impact ourselves. Welcome to the dilemma right? That's what i meant when i said i still have shades of Orange in me although enlightenment kinda propels part of you into Turquoise.
