  1. @noselfnofun Very good observation. Personally I do believe you do need to be at a certain level of personal development, which often comes with a lot of suffering, in order to achieve it. At least that is what i have experienced in my own life. However that said, everyone is different, and everyone has their own perspective so I do not think you should limit yourself into thinking that you are not ready for enlightenment yet. This path has to be walked alone.
  2. @Robi Steel Riiles, only been walking this path about six months. I had what i an incredible awakening - enlightenment, about 5-6 months ago and during that awakening i also became conscious of God. But this experience the other day blindsighted me as it was out of the blue and just more focused on God. Took my breath away.
  3. @Anton Rogachevski Anton - I have never used pyschedelics in the past - I was a materialist who stumbled onto Leo's site for an alcohol addiction. His teachings immediately resonated with me, because I always intuited that something wasn't right with the traditional paradigm. This paradigm broke when you try to imagine a tree falling in the forest and making a sound when there is no one there to "perceive or hear it". So I think i had some type of spiritual gift for this stuff. That said i don't think anyone should dismiss the fact that they can become enlightened in just a few weeks of mediation. It all depends on where you are at in your life in terms of your own development, level of suffering, consciousness, etc. etc.
  4. @tedens teden check out Leos video called what is perception i think that will help a lot. As others said we can only point to it with language you can message me and i can help you to try and grasp it further but it is your true self when you strip away your ego..when you become conscious of this you and be being itself you will become eniightened.
  5. Are we getting lost in concept and imagination here and not in what is real?
  6. This question is the same question as why does anything equal anything. Its concept and not actuality.
  7. You guys are overthinking this to the thousandth degree. Concept and imagination. It just IS. The question is just imagination and so is the answer. There is just direct experience.
  8. @Leo Gura absolute infinity. Plain and simple. At first this answer seems cliche.. like "oh well you can't say anything that you don't have a direct answer for is absolute infinity." But actually it fucking is! When you become conscious of that in your direct experience you understand. More directly though i was always a person who felt "being" from an early age. Often i would just feel the understanding of something rather than be able to easily describe it in words. You either just get "isness" or you don't right off the bat and whether you do or not..well since everything is one that is simply infinity at work. Since reality is an absolute relativity all that is real is what is YOUR direct experience. All of this is just concepts.
  9. @bejapuskas Your Big self is immortal, but not your little self. Your little self, the ego, will look at things differently after becoming conscious that you are consciousness itself. So when you say "you are this and you are that" remember that you are saying that relative from a particular perspective. Relativity bro
  10. @bejapuskas you are referring to the "you are already enlightened" perspective. Yes, from that perspective you are correct. I'm talking form the perspective of becoming aware that you ARE immortal. You are always what you are, yes, but becoming conscious of it is enlightenment - from that perspective of course.
  11. @Shin Yeah, that's why after you becoming enlightened you never look at the world the same way again.
  12. Also - try your best to get into a state of not knowing - that is why i believe we try to quiet the mind, because with that you are quieting the ego. I know that is hard in practice, but you will have good days and bad days, where sometimes the ego will be rather dormant, and that's a time when you can potentially break through.
  13. @Aakash True - You were always being - so a better word is shedding the illusion of the perceiver and you are left with what you already were, but are now conscious of.
  14. Infinity. Infinity is pure nothingness - the word nothingness really doesn't properly describe it because it is using language. So we're not talking about the word nothingness we are talking about actual nothingness, again language breaks down here. Now, this nothingness is infinite which means it has to be everything and anything that could possibly be. It is intelligent (remember its EVERYTHING....EVERYTHING... therefore it can dream up anything and everything it wants - but remember everything is also nothing, therefore you get a hallucination - there is no physical substance here - it is hollow. But it FEELS so tangible because those perceptions are affected by other perceptions, ie. the perception of a brain, a body, etc. When you actually grasp being itself and are able to become being itself you will see this for yourself and the materialist paradigm will melt away.
  15. Being is the perception minus the ego, or a "perceiver" it just IS itself. And that's exactly what your True self is - just pure being, pure consciousness. Once you grasp this that is enlightenment and you will literally merge with being itself.
  16. Becoming Being, or pure isness, becoming conscious that you are infinity itself - is just...it will bring you to tears. Language really breaks down when trying to describe it, you just can't... But Leo does a damn good job getting close. It's more awe inspiring that your little ego could ever dream up, so you if you were afraid you would be "disappointed" when you discovered God, well, you are wrong.
  17. When you actually get a hit of inifinity and or being it is utterly indescribable. Isness is beyond language. I wanted to make this post for everyone here to express their own personal experiences with awakening and if you have only got a glimpse please describe that. Were you a materialist before your experience? Also when you look around in your direct experience now is it extra magical? Please share. Also wanted to share my top actualized videos so here they are in order: What is absolute infinity Quantum mechanics debunked What is consciousness Reality is a strange loop The gallery of absolute infinity Girdles incompleteness thereom What is God Spiral dynamics stage turquoise
  18. @Leo Gura a strange loop as it seems. Becoming conscious of this is so utterly special. Thanks again Leo..the work we do here is hundreds of years before its time.
  19. Has anyone ever wondered why the content within existence is this particular content? This has broken my egoic mind. In other words why has infinity carved out content in a certain way and not another way? Is it just simply because it is God creating art and this universe is just a particular universe (meaning one picture in God's collection?)
  20. @korbes precisely. It is in a nutshell ego backlash. A mystical experience..an experience of no self is a threat to your very existence. I'm facing this now. I had a huge awakening a few months back and now even though i am conscious of the absolute i can no longer become it. I can no longer become being. I will keep trying for the rest of my life but i am afraid without pyschedelics it may never happen again. My awakening came without pyschedelics but it was a lifetime in the making. That said I'm not sure if having it multiple times is really necessary for me. I take solitude in the fact that i am awoke and to become being again is not why i meditate day to day anymore. It is simply to be aware of the present moment and of awareness itself. I think my ego ruined future experiences for me because i literally felt death and i couldn't stomach it.
  21. Im talking about the fact that there is gravity and planets revolving around the sun...why these particular rules?
  22. @charlie cho enlightenment is purely subjective. The question is irrelevant.
  23. Becoming conscious of God will actually bring you to tears. It will drop you to your knees and you will cry like a baby.
