  1. Kinda cool? Its horrifying - no fun at all.
  2. Yes. It did in my case. I had experienced depersonalization before so i knew what it was. But can't really say it was after enlightenment - it was a combination of both depersonalization and God realization.
  3. ? if you ain't orange you don't wanna survive! Nothing wrong with a little orange! ?
  4. @cetus i have not been too active on the forum of late @Carl-Richard perhaps you may have a rebuttle here?
  5. @cetus hmm perhaps or perhaps thats the lens you are looking through. But ultimately you advance so high that you go full circle and realize there is no difference between any stage.
  6. @Carl-Richard you just moved to a higher stage You realized there was no higher stage. You've transcended SD
  7. @Koeke Maybe your ego likes dying. Mine didn't. Or maybe what you have experienced is yet still childsplay. The dissolving of the illusion of death is no small feat even for God - because he buries himself down so deep and then has to climb out. If you still fear death then you haven't died. You haven't died (capital Y) - not small you. Meaning You woke up to Yourself. The small self will always fear death. But it is a part of God consciousness that you take away that knows better.
  8. Holy fuck dude you just gave me chills. I was driving when that very same thing happened.!!!!!! Its like Consciousness just opened up before you and your jaw drops.
  9. This thread won't die haha. So think of it like this guys. You are infinite Mind or Infinite Awareness. You limited yourself to a finite level of consciousness in which Oneness has been fragmented. There is you over here - and someone else over there. There are, well other people....Awesome! All is well in the world. But..you literally can have an awakening or mystical experience in which your awareness or consciousness expands 1000 fold. At this level of consciousness - and this is the facet of awakening i call Oneness, i think Leo calls it aloneness - both are accurate - in which the duality of self/other collapses. Its both amazing and terrifying at the same time - because you become directly conscious that all form or content (which includes everthing "else"" is literally held within your mind - which ultimately is the Mind of God. So here you are shifting to God's perspective, so to speak. Like i said it is both shocking and blissful simultaneously because you realize this entire universe is yours. Its amazing frankly. And terrifying because you realize you are completely alone in the sense that everything and everyone else is literally a projection of your mind. There are no other beings you can talk to because you are the only show in town. I remember i left work and couldn't function for several days. So the fucked up part is you can't function as a human being at this level of God consciousness. Its like when you are in a video game in God mode - that defeats the whole purpose of the game. But don't worry you come back to the ego and everyone else comes back too.
  10. @tuckerwphotography after you have a mystical experience or an awakening you will open up. Right now you are still closed off to Love.
  11. There are similarities but depersonalization is a loss of a sense of self. Enlightenment is becoming directly conscious that you are not a self (ego death) but that instead you are (via being) the Self/Infinity/God/Love/Consciousness. The similarity comes in because awakening can have that feeling of no sense of self too, which can lead to nasty ego backlash on the return - but during awakening it is accompanied by immense bliss, unlike raw depersonalization.
  12. imagination is second order. Love with a capital L is first order. The container. It is identical to Being/Actuality/Infinity. Imagination is duality as it is comprised of distinctions or differences. Love is non-duality or the container of duality. Imagination spawns from Love - or form spawns from formlessness. And yet the second order is made of the first order - making it indistinguishable once you are conscious of both.
  13. Figure of speech. I did too. Nasty habit And yeah typically when the ego seeks pleasure it leads to suffering haha.
  14. I see where you are going. Imagining away the pain of getting your arm sliced off is equivalent to Imagining away the wall in front of you. It would take insane levels of consciousness. Infinite levels. It can be done - but not with ordinary human levels of consciousness. There is no one on this forum that is at that level because honestly i don't think there are any humans on that level or they wouldn't be human.
  15. Heres the thing about suffering. All is consciousness - so thus suffering is a an idea. As are you and me. But transcending such an idea when you yourself as the ego are an idea is the finite trying to grasp the infinite. It can be done only by becoming infinite. You can kid yourself all you want - but it will hit you at some point no matter how "happy" you are. And you may be happy 99.99999 percent of the time - but that still leaves room. And the percentage will increase with age. Yes if you are conscious enough you can just not bring pain and suffering into your awareness and it won't exist. But then paradoxically suffering exists in it not existing. Because when it breaks to the surface of your finite mind - as in someone slicing your arm off - you will need to turn your awareness away.
  16. @Mu_ @Someone here cigar time as we ponder reality
  17. That Is a label you are placing on reality. Reality is Infinity. When you are already Infinite that includes knowing experientally what it is like to be finite.
  18. @gswva well said. God's got nothing better to do What is better than discovering Love = Pure Selflessness? For some forms of God it takes learning the hard way. But God is OK with that
  19. You are full blown God now aye, but you have limited yourself and put yourself into this dream. Your form, while made of nothing (formless) is yet still finite. Suffering is the inability to maintain this form eternally. Acceptance and liberation is the realization that form is an illusion, as is death.
  20. Yes of course pure formlessness has no suffering - or pure selflessness. Suffering is the withering away or deterioration of a finite form or self. That's why suffering = spiritual growth . And it doesn't have to be physical of course. It can be anything that changes your original form/identity.
  21. @danton there are many forms of suffering - you don't need to hate yourself. You can suffer deeply from guilt, regret, etc. That is punishing yourself but not hating yourself. You can suffer deep from the loss of a relationship with someone you took for granted and then realized you truly loved them afterwards. The love is so deep that it kills ya.
