  1. @Serotoninluv ? There's a good life purpose, making dank non-dual memes
  2. @Serotoninluv @cetus56 hahah T H I C C
  3. @DrewNows Before enlightenment trade crypto, trade stocks. After enlightenment trade crypto, trade stocks.
  4. @cetus56 Everything is pretty much the same as before, but it's all known to be consciousness, by consciousness. If i understood correctly what you meant
  5. @DocHoliday Are you sure about that? @Nahm yeah, Ask away. It's very late atm, so i might fall asleep mid answering tho.
  6. @7thLetter Western world is mostly stage orange, so that is to be expected. If a market is news driven, it's usually very risky to trade. Assets that rely on speculation are very news driven, high risk high reward. Cannabis stocks and crypto are a good example. My knowledge lies mostly in TA, in these macro things i'm embarassed to say i mostly rely on handful of good analysts that are pretty lowkey on youtube and twitter. (and the terms, words etc. i'm using might be wrong, because english is my second language and i speak about this stuff mostly in Finnish.) But these are valid points. Stock buybacks have been insane in many major companies creating an illusion of growth and now that's decreasing because of rising interests. Other thing is Central banks offloading all these assets they've been buying: https://europe.pimco.com/en-eu/resources/smartcharts/?chart=Global-Central-Bank-Balance-Sheets20171016171558&l=Europe&s=true&lang=en-eu Then there's the housing bubble, there's alot of news lately here in Finland that young people don't want to buy a house and rather rent, because the prices are too high in Helsinki. People who have alot of debt, won't be able to pay off the interests if the rates keep rising + alot of companies are laying off workers for multiple reasons. So yes, all these macro points are useful. but when it comes to quick trades and for someone like me who hawks the charts everyday, analysing the charts can be enough. I saw the correction coming in october only by analysing different indexes and major stocks like apple, amazon etc. Depends on who you ask. I don't think this qualifies as a recession yet, correction for sure, bear market if we fall back down from here. Then if the dominoes start falling we might enter a recession. S&P does look similiar to 2008, maybe we should start buying some gold and stacking it in our matresses?
  7. This. I feel like this is the motivation behind alot of seekers, it was my initial motivation when i started. Just led to more suffering. Enlightenment won't solve all your problems, don't use enlightenment as escapism. You have to do 180 and face all your bullshit.
  8. It's all ONE. Fantasy, illusion, real as fuck, infinite, nothing, consciousness, You. One contains everything, brah. It's not just a fantasy, brah.
  9. @ingurix Strong determination sitting. Sit cross legged with zero movement.
  10. SDS was my way of dealing with that. The pain keeps you awake
  11. Yeap, it was painful, even hellish on some points. I completely understand you taking the antidepressants and i don't know if that affects the process negatively. It's ok to take breaks from the grinding seeking, self-inquiry etc. i don't know.. maybe take this less seriously, be playful with this, love the ego, watch funny videos (: i made more progress when i stopped wanting to be enlightened. But maybe the insane tryhard daily 10hr SD sitting, super serious seeker mode was what led me to the next stage. It's hard to know for certain. Good luck on the journey
  12. Depends on the person i guess, i had my first ever 200ug trip alone. I was scared of having a bad trip, but it was overwhelmingly positive. At some point i tried to force myself to have a bad trip, but couldn't I get anxious when smoking weed, so i thought lsd would be kinda similiar, but it was complete opposite. about 20 trips later, nothing but good and profound trips so far.
  13. @CreamCat Yeah, it isn't my life purpose. I still have to figure that out, i'm slowly experimenting with different things to see what i like. Six hours a day on investements isn't that much, because i enjoy it and still have plenty of time to do other stuff. @7thLetter yup, no one really knows what's going to happen and the mainsteam news are often manipulation. Like when crypto started to crash they pumped all the negative news out and many of them were blatant lies. You kind of have to read between the lines. I don't know about recession, ofc it's a possibility. I don't have any long term investments atm, sold everything when this correction started.
  14. @7thLetter No you didn't sound like an idiot I thought what you said was quite well put. My post was a general response to everyone in this thread. Yeap, same. Made 10x gains with NEO, then put all in some shitcoins and lost most of it. But i learned my lesson. I Started to be more systematic and learned to ignore all the Greed, FOMO and FUD Well it can be sometimes. Depends on what the potential gain is, the chart pattern at that moment, what assets are you trading etc. Like with crypto there's more stoploss hunting. @CreamCat Well, at the moment my normal day is like 6 hours of reading news, going through charts trying to find something i like, then analysing the chart and reading all the fundamentals about the company, then if there's something that looks overall good, I'll setup alerts on my phone, go do something else and wait for a breakout. But like a year ago, when i was trading crypto and stocks really trying to "make it", it was almost everything i did. 12 hours a day 7 days a week, because crypto markets are always open, it's its own kind of hell, when you can't ever really relax. If you're just trying to invest your money in smart ways long term, then it's alot more relaxed. There's alot of good stuff about investing/trading on youtube, twitter, people on tradingview etc. just remember to ignore those videos where it the title sound too good, like "HOW I MADE 10K TRADING IN ONE DAY!" and like Leo always says, pull info from multiple different sources.
  15. @7thLetter Well said. It's not rocket science to make a living as a trader. It can be compared to gambling like Leo did, if you don't know what you're doing. If you have a good understanding of technical analysis, market trends, always have a calculated plan on every trade: when to enter and when to exit, pull information from multiple sources etc. then it's far from gambling. I've found that i'm really good at trading falling wedges. https://www.investopedia.com/university/charts/charts7.asp It's easy to find these patterns, add it to my watchlist and wait for a breakout, then calculate the exit price. When you enter a trade always set up a stop loss, you can't lose tens of thousands if you put up a stop loss for like -2%. If your stop loss get triggered almost every time, you're doing something wrong and then it's easy to step back and see what you're missing. In these trades my win/lose ratio is like 90% this past year. Never daytrade if you aren't really fucking good. I daytrade cryptos sometimes, because when they move with good volume, it happens so fast. Like Bitcoin Cash moved 150% in two days this month. So yeah.. the mistake people do is that they trade way too much. I was the same when i first started, when you win big and feel like you can't lose. Trading is risky, but it can be a good way to make money. Do your research if you're thinking about trying it. Maybe set up trades without money, when you're learning the basics of technical analysis.
  16. I've pretty much escaped wage slavery, by trading cryptocurrencies and stocks like a madman for few years. If i compare myself working at a normal job, this is definetly better fit for me, but you get used to everything. This is not my life purpose, this is just necessary grind to have enough money to do what i want. If trading is something you're interested in, it's one way to escape wage slavery. But it's really difficult to have winning trades continuously, most people lose 90% of the time. So be smart about it, read books, absorb all the info you can. Start with small sum of money and practice alot.
  17. @Zakee hinnant No, i kept going i only quit for a couple months, and this was 2-3 years ago. I realized that doing 6h sds sessions as a "beginner" was too much.
  18. I've done Ramana Maharshi's self-inquiry for 4 years and have found it to be the most effective combined with SDS. I'd also recommend looking into your psychology. That's where 90% or more of the work usually is -- figuring out psychological obstacles. I highly recommend getting psychodynamic psychotherapy -- or even psychoanalysis if you're willing to spare the time. If you want a good analyst, PM me and I will help you find one. A good analyst is a great guru to have. This is something i'm doing right now. It's just hard to find good therapists where i live. Finally, the game is actually first and foremost figuring out your own desire. Therapy, expressive art, and everything else has to be oriented around that. And it is your own desire that will lead you to the Truth. I make music and fractal art as an hobby rn and it's something i gravitated towards naturally after my awakening. Those are something i see as my life purpose. But anyway. thanks for replying, peace.
  19. It's GeoLura wondering. He isn't so well adjusted to this yet.
  20. You're seriously listening to the "world is ruled by lizard people" "moon is a space ship" dude?
  21. Did you have an experience after something started to stick, where the no-mind and "not knowingness" is so strong, you had difficulty to think anything. Like before enlightenment it's really difficult to not think anything, almost impossible. But now it's more like there needs to be force to think something. Maybe it's because the default network has shutdown partially, but most of the time there's just silence. The thoughts are more like planning and conseptual work not surrounding my petty problems. I thought this would happen maybe at the end, when you're enlightened af. Maybe nuking my brain with LSD has something to do with it But i have no idea where i am on this journey. I read through the ten Ox hearding pictures, but can't really pinpoint what this stage is. Maybe at 6? - very little thoughts that center around myself - no illusion of control - no illusion of self - everything is understood to be one, but in a sense i don't feel it. It's hard to explain. - egos function is seen like a network in 3D, very crisp and clear - everything just rises and passes - I can't take anything seriously, everything is so comical.
