  1. @QandC same reason here
  2. One dude, I thought he would be ready for it. I haven’t spoken to him in a long time.
  3. Hello everyone. Recently, with the stuff happening in the USA and Leo uploading conscious political videos, I have been thinking. I thought that, before even thinking about changing the world, you should change yourself first (heard this from lots of people including Sadhguru and I think Leo). Loads of people (including me) are still struggling somewhere close to the bottom of Maslow’s hierarchy, yet I see here the same people discuss big topics like Medicare and taxation of the rich. Now I have not the right to vote considering my age. Even in the Netherlands I still have not gotten proper education about politics. Although I have much to change about myself and don’t think I should be worrying about the entire world, I am curious. Should I engage more in this politics overload the rest of the forum is basically embracing? I haven’t watched any of Leo’s conscious politics videos yet.
  4. Especially the stories about Dajjal would really scare me as a kid. Interesting topic, I am curious as well.
  5. @tenta my room is clean and what is a prageru
  6. @Quicksilver But it’s already clean!
  7. There is this online musician called Pogo who actually has succeeded in not being taken over by social influence. https://www.youtube.com/user/Fagottron His most watched video called “Alice” is constantly praised in the comments as being way ahead of his time. If what you are saying is true, your situation concerning music should be similar to his. He never signed any deals and makes all his music in his own studio. He explained how, because of not signing to any labels and stuff, the radio won’t play his stuff. Even when it is really popular. (Btw I feel you about loneliness... I wish you best of luck. I am still kinda dealing with it)
  8. If only times were so simple as watching Pokemon on a Saturday morning with 0 stress I still kind deal with this, but I used to sit hours somewhere on a chair thinking about my life in general. Missing my old self. Cried a lot and stuff. The trick really is either grounding yourself into the present (actually giving you a chance to experience everything in the same way as you used to when you were younger) or focus on the future. In both ways I haven’t succeeded at all, but sure a lot of people out there recommend it. Reality is often disappointing.
  9. Hello everyone. This topic is not posted for the simple reason that I miss my childhood and want to watch Disney films. I recently came across this song: So I am already not in the greatest state (sad moods and stuff) and I am really loving this song and other, funky songs? I am planning to do psychedelics soon and was wondering what experienced psychonauts think of using psychedelics on music like this. A mixture of the famous Alice in Wonderland and instrumental sounds. In general, watching Alice in Wonderland while tripping on LSD would already be a big journey right? Again I am planning to do this during my FIRST trip, considering I don’t think I will get enlightened or awakened at all.
  10. @Serotoninluv So basically I have to stop for a second, ask myself if there is really something going on or if I am just deceiving myself. Making sure I diagnose the situation as correctly as possible?
  11. @Mikael89 Well it didn’t seem that you understood that from your first post lol
  12. Damn right I am saving this topic! All this advice sure has got to help me out.
  13. @Mikael89 You know everyone is different right? What is emotionally moving for you, could be literal garbage for someone else. You seem to not be aware of that.
  14. @Jonac Even if he did I don’t think he would remember
  15. Recently I have had many negative thoughts and it seemed like I was stuck, so I decided to try to laugh more. I started watching what I always liked: cartoons. In particular: Tom & Jerry and Spongebob Squarepants. Now of course, I know, this is not related to any of what is being talked about on this forum. However, in one of Spongebob’s episodes.... Patrick seemed so content with literally doing one simple movement (see pic below). Now that got me thinking: I personally have not been very happy with my present state. I think negatively about most things, don’t find something easily fun and have simply put a hard time enjoying my activities Patrick however clearly is just fine. This must have something to do with that “child-joy” everyone had when they were little. My question: How do I get to be Patrick? (How do I enjoy something so easy so much?)
  16. @Truth Addict ty for your answer and thanks for the compliment
  17. @TheAvatarState Man I’ll watch Spongebob even when I am laying on my deathbed! The show is too genius.
  18. @hamedsf It’s not that man. Alcohol just doesn’t seem practical or beneficial to me. Neither do cigarettes. Just for health reasons man. I struggle with loneliness, and apparently that feeling of loneliness causes the same health damage as one pack of cigarettes per day (or something like that). I want to try cigars though... they seem too cool.
  19. @Psyche_92 Totally worth it my friend
  20. @hamedsf I am too young for alcohol and am actually not planning to start drinking when it’s legal.
  21. @OctagonOctopus thanks for your help man
  22. Tonight is a schoolparty I have been waiting for for a long time. I just finished working out, so I am pretty tired. I have some kind of flow with some girls and have an eye on one specific girl. I just don't know how to approach any of them when we are dancing and the music is killing our ears.
  23. @bejapuskas Probably, but they sure don’t know how to express it.
