  1. Not sure what your saying here, can you elaborate....interesting conversation you guys are having.
  2. Present moment? You mean the one that is always happening. The one that is happening even when your thinking your not in the present moment. The one that is happening when you want or think you should be in a calmer, more aware, more alive present moment. The present moment is never not happening. Its always the present moment no?
  3. What makes you think your human to begin with? Other people have told you? You believe it? The body you see you call human?
  4. This is a video I made a while back that I've decided to post. Its not perfect, but it gets to the core of a lot of why people feel lacking. Hope you enjoy.
  5. Haha I've thought about posting one, maybe I will now....
  6. Really good observations and concerns. Perhaps this can help. Instead of wanting to drop it all cut it in half and pursue the goals you have. If you get worried about the goal to much or your thoughts are overwhelming ease into no thought detachment and ask your self simply what are the simple steps that need to be done to complete the goal cutting through the bullshit of the mind worries and thoughts and proceed step by step. Look at meditation as training you to be able to drop the minds bullshit so that you can go forward with your goals even better than if you didn’t have this tool or training already (but don’t get caught up in being better then others because you have this training). Also let meditation open up areas of yourself and capacities you didn’t know were there and grow with it. Hope that’s helpful.
  7. Glad to hear you’ve been doing good. It’s natural that we we fall back into old habits. Just remember what you learned and helped you. Preetom shared some useful wisdom for you as did Nahm which was inline with what I was saying before. Time away may be best for you. And again your the one believing that your not real and others are not real (even if some people are saying it on this forum). I’d give it a rest and enjoy being you and enjoy your individual friends and their uniqueness. Who cares what others think. Some people believe your going to go to hell if you have sex before marriage or minorities are inferior. Are you going to let this bother you to and believe it’s true as well simply because others have these beliefs?
  8. I can relate to this experience of feeling like each stage took a part of oneself. I must say its a frustrating and strange aspect of of living a human life, in a way like maybe seeing a friend or loved one pass away and you still have a memory of them that you miss, long, love, remember, are fond of, and you haven't come to terms or perhaps don't need to come to terms, its just a past fond memory.....
  9. Faster or more beneficial in what way? Faster towards love with another human, more money, create more happiness? Whats your goal first of all?
  10. Lately I've been making video's on issues that I think will help the most people suffer less. And one issue that is very prevalent in our society is shame and blame. Let me know if you have any questions or if this resonates with you.
  11. Ya thanks, its really subtle what I'm pointing to even though it seems obvious. Hopefully someone benefits from it.
  12. Uhhh I don't think he's calling me a fool as an insult, and I know I'm not calling him a sissy as an insult, this is just playful banter...... haha I had to look up what sissy meant again to make sure it was still PC, cause its been 35 years since I used the word....hahaha
  13. I understand what you mean.... But dont be tricked or fooled into your no meaning = no worth, empty, nihilistic, negative...... IF anything its a positive inability to get trapped the old beliefs of suffering and the meaning it was/is standing on.
  14. Paul Hedderman says something along the same lines, and I found it interesting to start verbing as a way of inner dialoging and outer dialoguing to the degree it wasn't going to get strange looks. I can't say for certain what it did, but it made the sticky mind less sticky for what it seemed at the time....
  15. Actually the opposite, Absolute truth is able to be conveyed, because it is everything. If it wasn't it couldn't be conveyed because some part of it wouldn't be conveyed because some of it wouldn't be there......
  16. What’s your overall goal first of all. Then from there look at if your meditation practice is growing fruit ? towards that
  17. Ok, I see how your using the question now. Really fascinating because that saying at least in my observation can and has been used to mean that the symbol or word is not the actual thing but a Pointer to materialistic belief of truth or a description of subjective experience which isn’t the actual feeling experience of it. Where as your using the the same statement to point to Truth actually.
  18. And to elaborate more. And this is just a hypothesis in the works. But this statement is one that makes sense and holds truth to someone at a certain place in understanding and awakening but not in the same way as one who’s moved past that consciousness of seeing. But for one whose more in concreteness of things potentially can pull said individual into a more clearer seeing of reality as it is and is ising ( ya I just made that word up). Because interestingly enough the implications of what this statement is pointing towards, the word symbol can be replaced with ‘experience or ones experience’ and it leads to a similar awakening. Again until all that’s left is god understanding. Both sound like the Neti Neti route honestly as I’m writing this and are as you may know powerful awakeners to this strange world of not it’s and yet IT/You/I as the leftover or remainder.
  19. But could it be that a symbol is not a symbol but directly the absolute, that can draw one in to the experience of the symbol since as you know, there are no symbols either, only god/absolute. this is what I’m pointing to. I don’t even think it invalidates what your saying, which isn’t my intention either. I get where your coming from and I’ve seen it from that point of view before as well (and still do) but I’m bringing into question the notion of dualistic and it’s dependency on awakened perspective. Based on what I gathered from your last blog post on omnipresent, you’ve seen what I’m eluding to and perhaps much like I’m going through it’s having a fundamental shift in how one phrased and used notions that seemed inherently absolute and true.
