"There are few things more distorted or dangerous than an ego that thinks it is God." - Adyashanti -
"Nobody wants to admit that the core of their ego wants to be God, but that's a fact." - David Hawkins "One does not move anywhere in the universe except by personal assent." "Karmically you're cut off from your past memory, up until consciousness level 600 you don't even remember that you were before." "Contemplation is the art of holding a word or a phrase patiently in the silence and stillness of awareness until it begins to disclose deeper and deeper meanings and understandings. Contemplation has the power to transcend beyond (not regress back from) the limits of analytical thought and logic, and open consciousness up to an order of wisdom and Truth that can only be described as revelation." "Take a short phrase as your object of contemplation and simply hold it in your awareness for some time. Do not analyze or philosophize about it. And do not get lost in your imagination either. Just hold the phrase in awareness. Then be still. Let its meaning germinate within you. Then bring the word or phrase back into awareness again. Hold it there for some time, and then let it go and be still again. With a little practice you will get the hang of it and find your own rhythm." - Adyashanti (The Way of Liberation)

Carl Jung was a genius. His contribution is great: the unconscious, archetypes, synchronicity. I think it's better to watch YouTube videos about his work than to read his writings.

"Watch as many films as you possibly can and take tons of notes on them. Read as many plays as you can. Read as many novels as you can. You gotta take in information and learn about structure and choice and withholding and subtext and inverting expectations through other people's work." - Robert Eggers

First wet dream... I hate wet dreams. They're involuntary setbacks.

Eggers makes movies that are enjoyable enough. Not every movie needs to be a masterpiece.

Force Lightning? That's a dark side ability for coomers. I want the light side abilities: "Most beings who have used the light side of the Force have known its calming abilities. They had the ability to calm animals, including people, and increase morale using only their minds." - Fandom

Good talk:

It's both: you're returning to your natural state; in that sense, it's not a superpower. But sexual transmutation is almost like a superpower.

That's one of my favorite things about abstaining from masturbation. It really does change people's reactions to you. When I masturbate a lot, I tend to repel people. When I stop masturbating, I tend to attract people. I get better at responding to social situations due to the confidence and mental clarity. That's the reason why I want to stop masturbating forever. The short-term pleasure of masturbation is nothing compared to the long-term satisfaction of successful social interaction.

If I could have only one favorite Adya quote, I think this one would be it: "To me the deepest spiritual power is to be able to see moment to moment that you're only with yourself."

I knew this would happen, which is why I reacted the way I did: -
If you lose this challenge, your penis will be cut off.

"Vengeance on a dumb brute!" cried Starbuck, "that simply smote thee from blindest instinct! Madness! To be enraged with a dumb thing, Captain Ahab, seems blasphemous." "Hark ye yet again—the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event—in the living act, the undoubted deed—there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there’s naught beyond. But ’tis enough. He tasks me; he heaps me; I see in him outrageous strength, with an inscrutable malice sinewing it. That inscrutable thing is chiefly what I hate; and be the white whale agent, or be the white whale principal, I will wreak that hate upon him. Talk not to me of blasphemy, man; I’d strike the sun if it insulted me. For could the sun do that, then could I do the other; since there is ever a sort of fair play herein, jealousy presiding over all creations. But not my master, man, is even that fair play. Who’s over me? Truth hath no confines." - Chapter 36
