@Zigzag Idiot lol who knows if anyone is reading this thing... I would think a presentation on the Fourth Way would fit well in the first two forums. Maybe just post a few chunks at a time for easier digestion

Four Cornerstones of Discovery Chapter Five: 1-7 5:1-2 Having an insight can be exhilarating because it can alter our perceived reality so much it's like stepping into a fresh world. Its an "authoritative experience that begins with a state of not-knowing." Our beliefs and assumptions lock us into a reality that's not open to other possibilities. This chapter will teach us four principles that will empower our inquiries into what's true about anything. 5:3 One main goal is to gradually step aside from our notion of being into discovering what is actually true about being. 5:4 To strip away everything I 'know' about myself would bring me closer to the real me. It starts with not-knowing, otherwise the inquiry only confirms what is already known. The investigation into my self must begin with what I presently experience as myself and then work my way from there. 5:5-6 For now we are to imagine what it might be light to experience our authentic self, free of all the labels and beliefs, and just rest in what would remain. We will be looking much deeper into how a self is created and maintained. 5:7 There is a certain principle of discovery we are attempting to adopt here. The author has identified four cornerstones of this principle: Authentic experience, honesty, grounded openness, and questioning, These foundations of inquiry are not to be taken as moral codes, but as catalysts into true discovery.

@Into The Void you don't have to take dmt or be an enlightened sage to stop speaking about that which you don't know. You can begin now, by investigating what you know or don't know. When you ask questions on here, no answer, even from leo will be satisfying. They can only be used as guideposts for your own journey. Forget about what leo says his consciousness has achieved. It's a cool story but go and live yours. For example, do you know your brain? Have you seen it and experimented on it? You are going off of what you've heard about brains. Perhaps the brain isn't limiting anything, you are. -
What Is an Insight? Chapter Four: 40-45 4:40-41 An insight is not a thought or belief (though I guess thoughts and beliefs will build themselves around insights if you aren't careful). Its an actual genuine experience of what's true regarding your inquiry. 4:42 Insights go beyond belief. They are defined by author as "a sudden awakening in our consciousness when we realize something is true and authentic." 4:43-44 (my only skepticism is what if many insights are still only based on cultural programming and not getting to the source of truth? My baptist preacher father and brother have insights left and right. They are still biggots.) 4:45 (It seems to be about discovering what's true in your own experience… I can see that this could bring some kind of altruistic insight eventually, but how many are duds along the way? Just my own thoughts… That being said I get that there's true value in foraging insights for yourself instead of taking what everyone else tells you for granted. I just feel like so far, this is only half the battle.)

Just be patient. We are talking about entering another world so it won't happen over night. Your first goal should be to induce the hypnagogia -

@Nate0068 do the method, explore beyond what you call this world and your physical limits and we'll see if that feeling remains -

@Nate0068 Best streamlined method I've found. My notes are that he prefers to lay on his left side, but I don't personally think it matters. Many people do this on their back. Also he doesn't quite say it well enough but it's imperative to keep your eyes still at all times. The pictures in your mind will begin to turn HD and start moving like movies, and its important to let it happen without moving your eyes. Even a small eye movement will fade the images. Tratak meditation will train you for that. Have fun! -

I'm not talking about meditation, I'm talking about entering the 'dream or astral realm' fully lucid and with God powers. No it won't make a pigs fart in this 'physical place' besides the changes to your psyche. Perhaps you'll see you don't need God powers 'out here' with 'us' . Perhaps your idea of what God powers are might change. Either way, I'm talking about learning to explore other realms of your own creation in full hd visuals and the ability to do literally anything. It's a personal problem if you don't consider that 'real enough'. If interested I'll post the method. Also what's going on 'out here?' what's got you upset? -

@Nate0068 you can enter realms without drugs. You don't need anything but solitude and patience. But like I said, this realm persists so you need to navigate it well for the luxury of time to explore. First things first you need to learn full body relaxation and meditative mind. -

@Nate0068 you can learn to explore those dream lands on demand. Would that change your opinion of this 'physical whatever place'? Problem is you can learn to explore your created worlds but while this one persists you will need to navigate it too to have the luxury of laying down and entering realms. Everything OK? Tell us a bit about yourself. -

This is exactly what we are talking about in my book study in journal section. Short answer, yes sounds like that's it. Although I'm curious what is blue without any of the chatty labels? At that point, is blue known? As a separate entity from the red sock beside it? Let's find out... I still don't understand that whole no internal dialogue thing... I can only imagine it from someone deaf who does not think in verbal language... -

Whew ? I often find myself looking away. But the reflections are infinite so no, I can't look away. I even know to stop but it happens habitually. Like it's on autopilot by now. I know to face and breathe into is-ness, but I'm still gullible to the doubtful thoughts and once again, not even looking but perhaps running away for the hills. But the reflections are infinite and I can't outrun myself. I don't need to, because I can only run (in)to myself. The farthest mountain or cave couldn't hide me because I would see myself in them. And this entire phony goose chase is allowed and accepted. Kinda beautiful in a way, like the finest art. -

Even if adrenaline rush is a by-product of this phenomenon, it does not mean it's the cause. Probably closer to backdooring kundalini energy without the practices -
