You literally are the universe, whatever you can feel the universe can too The purpose of life is to love, and to become as loving as possible The true test of your love is based upon your ability to love everything Think of something you love and expand that feeling onto all of reality. Love is something you need to create. Creating love is done proactively, consciously and deliberately. Be persistent with developing the ability to trigger love internally vs externally. What prevents love? The ego's fear of disillusion. The ego doesn't want to 'die' Who we really are is too big to conceptualize, that it's scary for us to accept. Truth is love A person who hates is incapable of loving himself. He loves only those parts of himself which are easy to love (this is where the concept of being able to love everything comes into play) so he denies, suppresses other parts of himself and then projects them out onto the world. Every evil person acts out of love (Hitler) Types of love: 1) Liquid form of love is loving your parents, what you are conditioned to love. (You don't actually unconditionally love your parents) ?Questionable because if this is true than that means you can't actually love your spouse. 2) Gaseous form of love is taking 5MeO-dmt or any strong psychedelics I'm assuming, unless you are at the point where you can naturally use your internal love to project onto reality? (unconditional love) 3) solid form of love is hating

SageModeAustin replied to ULFBERHT's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@ULFBERHT You're contradicting yourself. You say you want to be the best version of yourself right fucking now. Well that's impossible because the self doesn't exist. You're always working towards your higher self, it's a never ending process of mastery. Your mind is focused too much on the end results. Enjoy the process more, enjoy who you are now like you said, while working towards being your best self. Also you should read the book Mastery by George Leonard, it would really help you get out of this 'right now shit.' -

@Pernani No, meditation made me more calm overall, thus making my speaking skills more calm and controlled as well. It sounds like you're not meditating right. -
SageModeAustin replied to Ingit's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Ingit These thoughts are originating from the lower self. The lower self is trying to survive by reinforcing it's own reality. Try telling it, "is that all you've got?" It will come at full force and you keep saying the same thing until it fades away into dust. -
@Hellspeed Wasn't my words, just summarizing Leo's new vid. Although, I still don't get his idea of liquid form not being unconditional love

It's a shame Jordan Peterson isn't really open to trying psychedelics and views them as 'dangerous.' Although, I think hes just afraid of being open about it on here.

@Serotoninluv Well said. -
Great insight, I just realized this applies to me as well.

@lmfao Yeah I know, but still you would think that a guy who studies psychology for a living would take consciousness work seriously. But I guess not. -
Ever since I started meditating, I noticed this awakening of sexual energy. It comes in waves, some days more than others. It's a very strong feeling, like a new life-form of energy inside of me. Anyone else experiencing or has experienced this from starting meditation?

@Misagh Interesting, you seem to be pretty educated on this topic. What does this kunalini shakti feel like once merged? -
Try pretending your the author, or the person he's writing about. This helps me understand their point of view of which they're coming from and the rest of the data falls into their perspective, thus making more sense.

@SerotoninluvThat's super interesting I've been thinking about how micro-dosing could be very beneficial recently. Is it a coincidence that people there are micro-dosing in silicon valley because of Steve Jobs?

@Leo Gura oooh I see. ? -
How can we be so sure that what we experience when on a trip is ‘real’ how do we know it’s not just something Artificial (the drug making us think that this is the absolute truth/reality) ? All responses appreciated (:

@Leo Gura yes but how does being on lsd or 5meo make it less hallucinatory? Because the ego is less prominent? Greater ability to see through it? Btw swim has done lsd plenty of times, mushrooms once -

@Serotoninluv ahhh, that is very very true. -
I started meditating since July 11th 2018 first month 20 minutes a day, second month 25 minutes a day, and about two weeks ago I started doing 25 minutes in the morning and 25 minutes before I go to bed. Then I bought Leo's book list and have recently finished reading Mastery by George Leonard. Now I'm working my way through the second book on the list which is Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. Hoooolly shit, just these two books alone + Leo's recent video technique on sending consciousness to where your body tension is located then sending a signal to relax it has made a noticeable change in my behavior/thoughts. The most prominent theme I've noticed since all of this self-actualizing work is a CONSTANT battle of 'self's' going at it. I answer a question in class correctly and the higher self get's validated, I get it wrong then the lower self gets validated. Get rejected by a girl or accepted by a girl, same thing, two different self's battling it out. I can literally see/feel it happening. Now, I've finally learned to drop all of this completely, to stop identifying with the good OR the bad and the effects are just pure bliss. I literally don't care what people think of me and I'm much much more grounded in who I am. I can't imagine reading all of the books on the book list and being able to apply all of the techniques. LOL. It's like being a low level in a game, then when you get to a high level the capacity of your abilities are 'god-like.' This is only from a few months of working on self-actualization too! Wow..I'm mind-fucked right now

@Brittany that is true, thanks (:

@Recursoinominado how is ayahuasca btw? -
SageModeAustin replied to Recursoinominado's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Recursoinominado yeah it really melts away the self, and the self is compiled with limiting non-sense. Thus, bliss and "higher self" -

I think LSD was designed for this purpose. Also, the goal is to be able to do it sober. Start working your way towards that. -
@Daydreamer ya

Leo I am a psychology student working towards a PhD and your work is revolutionary for the current psychology department. I want to help somehow, and eventually implement my knowledge into the current model of psychology. How can I help? All of my free time is gone to reading, and watching Leo’s videos/taking notes. The rest of my time goes to college full time, 6 classes. I know this is a long shot and he probably will laugh this off, but yea why not.
