  1. @Jack River Okay you can intellectually understand something, but the problem is too persistent to get rid of. I've dealt with this for too many years for one insight to change anything. Should I just accept this as a part of life and move on?
  2. @Jack River @Hello from Russia @Shin Well how about when it keeps coming back for years & years? I'll have moments of letting go, but it only lasts for so long. Like a few minutes then it comes back. It's an endless cycle. There is temporary relief by letting go, but nothing is really solved. My default at this point is dark energy and nihilism, it just keeps coming back. Should I stop trying to fix this, and let go aka let the dark knight of the soul embody me?
  3. @Shin Thanks my dude. Actually helpful.
  4. @Hello from Russia Yea...good point.
  5. thanks, that actually made a lot of sense when I read it just now.
  6. @seeking_brilliance Interesting post, another example would be homeostasis. We can regulate our body like sweating for example, to maintain an optimal temperature level...(98.6°F (37°C)). No one taught us this, yet we somehow know how to. It goes to show how we truly are part of an infinite intelligence.
  7. When you are feeling depressed Tell yourself, I'm so happy right now. When you say this your mind will start to think of reasons of why you said this. (This works because when you act regardless of your emotions, you will feel happy because of it) Learn to categorize actuality vs imagination. (This works because 100% of your depression is imagination) Its been helping me a lot, let me know what you guys think.
  8. @Caterpillar That's sleep deprivation lol when your sleep deprived, it's equivalent to being buzzed on beer Although, that's not ideal.
  9. Yes! Well said! My signature explains the same realization you had.
  10. This community is bullshit because we are higher consciousness people and are better than everyone else *Sarcasm*
  11. @The Blind Sage Micro dosing is more effective over a long period of time for self actualization and spiritual growth. (Assuming you meditate daily as well)
  12. @Marinus By trying out new ways of approaching it, seeing what worked for me.
  13. @Jack River Well then, how do you solve this "problem"? By doing nothing and not thinking?
  14. @Thesingularity This is one sign of growth. Fake growth is still getting triggered by things that always used to trigger you. Real growth is not getting triggered by things that used to trigger you (or not nearly as much).
  15. Okay so basically thinking in the future or past, cool.
  16. Your looking at this way too analytical. Having friends is about having fun. You sound like me, when I didn't have friends. Not trying to be mean here, but I think a big reason why you don't have good friends is because you're too picky. I think a good challenge for you would to be enjoy hanging out with someone who isn't an intellectual like you are. You will actually learn more from these people. Learn to loosen up, have fun, don't be so one track minded with this actualization stuff Keep that to yourself and enjoy the moment, you'll naturally find people who are into self actualization by easing your way into friendships, people don't open themselves like that so soon.
  17. @FredFred Here's an easy way to think of this.. Concentration is concentrated awareness onto one thing. Awareness is passive. It's floating, going wherever the moment is taking it.
  18. @Jack River Can you explain this fear/psychological time more?
  19. @Jack River Hmmmmm...I see your point now. I agree.
  20. I’ve only truly felt it for about 10 seconds one time when I was meditating just recently. I notice even though I’ve felt it before I can’t get back to it very easily, at all. Why is this? Why was I able to achieve enlightenment that one time, but not now? Is it because I got lucky?
