@EdvardSam Harris is trying to explain spirituality from a rationalists point of view. He won't get anywhere near enlightenment, never mind awakening until he surrenders his limited worldview.

You could explain the 7 stages of consciousness from the perspective of Vedanta. The most important one: witness consciousness. Where one goes from identifying as body and mind, to being the WITNESS of body and mind. Probably the greatest breakthrough one can have without psychedelics that accelerates you through to complete enlightenment.

I love how a candidate for the US Senate can assault a reporter one day, and despite this witnessed and DESPICABLE behavior, he's elected anyway. People!! Come on!! He should be in the slammer, not on his way to Washington! Its amazing what people will pardon and condone, no matter how criminal. Maybe he's a Trump admirer. Didn't he just shove some head of state out of the way recently? Hey boys and girls: this is unacceptable behavior for ANYONE, never mind someone in public office! Very disturbing to say the least!!

@Shin Shin, that's wonderful! The concept of no self is what helped me the most, especially from headless.org. When you point to where you "think" your head is, you're pointing to Source or Capacity for All. When you point out from where Source is, you see the Universe that is You. So it turns out you're infinite capacity for all. May you be blessed.
