Meditation doesn't need you to be sitting down. It's at its core a letting go / dropping of the mind. Usually by connecting with your breath as a sort of grounding in the present moment, but other means are possible as well. -

It's just what I became conscious of and I describe it to you. Incidentally this contradicts Infinity in no way. Different levels that we're talking about. If you think there's a contradiction here, consider the possibility that both sides could be true at the same time. -

Yes you can and will. All pain is your pain and all pleasure is your pleasure. -

Yep. All cause-effect relationships stay the same, you're not suddenly able to go through walls. But you realize that wherever you end up you will be at home. Because you're not so much focused on survival anymore - even while it still exists - you'll choose much more consciously where you want to go next. You trust in life/yourself more. Also all activities you just did because you thought you had to will fall away like dead leafs on a tree. You will become much more conscious of why you do things, and when there's no reason anymore after you see through the fake ones you will cease to do them. -

Both are true, kind of. When I realized solipsism last time it was clear that everybody is my imagination BUT what they experience I experience, I'm usually just not aware of that. It's like if you sit on your arm and your hand goes to sleep, you don't feel it anymore but it's still your hand. You're kind of an alien intelligence that plays every human at the same time, but you cut off your awareness from all others, so it feels as if you're only this one. But in reality you're all of them. But still every one of them has a body, an emotional system and so on. Every pain and pleasure they experience you experience as well, but you will realize this only after you die or awaken. -

Well said. The truth is you don't want to tell them because you don't want to hurt them. Tell them that. That is literally the truth. -

Truth doesn’t need to be brutal. In fact that already is a sign that it’s not pure anymore. It’s possible to misuse truth for purposes of the ego. If your truth doesn’t contain love it’s not worth much. -

@AerisVahnEphelia This is not meant as an attack, but you come off as extremely judgemental, especially of people who you see spiritually „below you“. Don’t forget that every step of the path is significant and we all have our unique paths. You wouldn’t also have liked to be judged back then. This is an appeal to your heart. -

Would you rather live in a world without pain? -
vibv replied to Henry234's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Right. But there can only be one consciousness. -

Why do you think that pain is a problem? -

@Breakingthewall There's ultimately no ground. That's why Leo calls it an Infinite Hallucination. The way I see it God plays a game of hide and seek with itself. It's of proportions you couldn't even imagine if you tried and evolution is actually God picking up its pieces again. Someday, so the story goes, everything will be back together in place and WE (there's no one else, right) experience an eternity of absolute ecstasy. Divine infinite bliss so to speak. But no eternity lasts forever, and so at some point God decides to do it all over again. And WE love every second of it. At the end everything will be revealed as pure Love, because nothing else exists, and only by doing this it is possible that the eternal bliss exists in the first place. But on the way it will seem time and again that there are deep and dark shadows that seem very very real in the moment. But these are only an illusion created by a lack of consciousness. Our job is to look especially in the darkest places, so we can find that even there, only Love exists. As long as a single shadow remains, an irreplaceable part of God and Perfection is still missing. Edit: Shadows are not the thing itself, but our rejection of that part of reality. -

There are stories of people smoking salvia and living multiple years in another reality. Would you call that a dream? -
vibv replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There are other levels above. It's possibly endless. You also become aware of those levels to varying degrees. -

It's true. But at the same time you can do things that lead you somewhere you maybe don't want to go. There are no wrong places, it's just your decision where you want to end up. If you chose some destination and end up somewhere else it's probably just that you didn't understand some part of the path yet. In that case life will give you exactly the situations you need as opportunities to develop and grow. But yeah, it's a huge relief knowing that you can't do anything wrong in that sense Judgement is what humans do, not the universe. -

@Breakingthewall The ego needs to be consciously developed and strengthened, not weakened. While at the same time practicing unidentification with it. Both counterintuitively go hand in hand. In my understanding that's what @r0ckyreed was hinting at, too. -

Okay, well, then this conversation serves no further purpose. -

Thank you. Finally something that makes sense here. Exactly. You can transcend something only by loving it to death so to speak. Condemning it and trying to destroy it.. we know how that works out throughout history. Loving it to death means actually integrating it. It will not disappear, but it will stop showing its toxic traits. You could say our shadow is created by condemning something and therefore trying to change reality, thinking it would be better without it. But reality is way more intelligent than you are. By loving it it will in fact start to show you that it's an irreplaceable part of perfection. -
A thought: The miracle of Language is not only what you can transmit with it – but even more so what you can not convey.

Nobody has an idea what this Moment is capable of. But the exciting thing about that is that you will find out. The mindfuck results from the fact that you think you know, but you don't (probably). It's possible to connect with that but it's very hard. I achieved it several times but only for a short period. I don't know if it's possible to sustain it indefinitely or if this dream would collapse. What are signs that you're really connected to not-knowing - or as I rather call it: infinite creativity / room of possibilities / pure potential - and not only pretending to? Everything is very clear and there's absolutely no doubt You're completely conscious of the fact that this is a dream, it feels like lucid dreaming but on a way higher level Your heart overflows with amazement and ecstasy It feels as if you woke up and a murky veil had been lifted You realize that we have no fucking idea, and it's the best thing ever. You could shout "OF COURSE! How could I believe such nonsense!? We have NO fucking CLUE!!" (that's the best one ) There's more, but it's absolutely clear when it's the case. Absolutely no doubt is one of the main signs. -

Trust me, you have no idea You know it conceptually, but do you know it experientally? -
