Words are contaminated all the time, this is nothing new.

States in the northeast and west coast tend to be more even more highly concentrated in cities than the rest of the country, and they are populous. They have a more diverse population whereas almost every person you see in Wyoming for example is white. They have more wealth and are more highly educated, with better schools, etc. than in places like South Dakota or Alabama. There are other factors. When you are in a sparesly populated region of the country, you want to own a gun because it makes you better feel like you own all the land that your eye can see. If you are a big tech high executive in a Silicon Valley firm you are probably to busy to care to go to the firing range to practice to shoot. In the particular case of Wyoming, when I visited there it is extremely understandable why people vote Republicans. The issue of "climate" change for example is so ethereal and foreign to them, since the state is just too beautiful already, and they're ignorant to what's happening in other parts of the world because it is so sparse. It is a gorgeous state, just too gorgeous at the moment..

This should be a no brainer because any time you spend 1 minute on X you lose the potentional to spend that 1 minute on Y, Z, V, and R. And you have a finite time with your body. You invested some part of yourself into anything that you tried for that 1 minute, making you ever so slightly less invested in that other thing you could try. But other than that I don't think there's really a correlation. -
There's still some quality posts here but in some regards this thread is becoming indistinguishable from any Trump bashing thread. We can celebrate a little longer But let's be careful about monitoring or criticizing everything Trump does for the rest of the winter. Although the damage done and his breaking of norms is unprecedented, and the news is important, the most likely scenario is that the institutions that be will remove him from the presidency, at which point the county will have to pick up the pieces. And that's all there is to it. Gloating helps manifest a spirit of disunity.

I thought Pennsylvania would finish counting tomorrow @Preety_India?

Well Arizona has 11 electoral votes so that's probably it. One side calls it for Biden, the other considers it a battleground state.
-
I must say that I enjoy seeing the results come in from Arizona, I really hope we stay blue. People really liked John McCain here and Trump insulting him probably swung the state.
-
I really think lots of people voted for Trump primarily because of the "free speech" issue. Also it's much harder to lift 330 million people towards more healthy forms of thinking than what you'd see in the Nordic countries for example. And it feels like that democracy is barely sustainable for large population sizes in practice, obviously it's fragile in multiple senses as well...but we are heading to the point where it feels like elections almost do more harm than good. (But primal dictatorships isn't a good option either...)

My main critique is that I'm unconvinced it takes this long to deconstruct science. You did a good job in the first 1-2 hours, there was no need to drag it past that in my opinion. I'll watch the other videos, but I believe they will just beat a dead horse.

People misinterpret the rioting and looting as an act of hatred against the country that seem to have descended upon the country out of nowhere. It is as if they believe that as an evil spirit that came completely out of left field (pun intended :] ) -- and a few hardcore Christians actually precisely believe this. Treat it like it is -- an often times desperate explosion of anger perceived as a last resort for an undending pattern of oppression. Yes some bad apples climb into the movement and seem to spoil it for outsiders, but by and large the Black Lives Matter movement does not come from an inherent desire to burn the country down. America has a horrible putrid history of racism and this was only amplified by concepts like states rights, where the "laboratories of democracy" allowed racism to incubate and isolate itself from the larger country, causing it to fester and simmer for centuries. Conservatives never believe there is a need for reconcilliation or healing because they are terrified of anything that implies America is not perfect. Implying America is not perfect would start to open a Pandora's Box of questions that the Republicans would rather ignore. As for Trump being in favor of free speech, it really doesn't feel that way when he is trying to discourage people from voting in multiple ways and he and his allies are saying, if you don't vote for me you will destroy this country -
It's important to note that for every two ways Conservatives cite that liberal culture "encourages" transitioning, there are four reasons that culture discourages transitioning. I don't want to get too much into politics here, though.

you don't evangelize reality, reality evangelizes YOU! although to be honest it's a little silly to say in an argument that you can certainly 100% not be wrong. what do you expect this to do, shorten the argument? you should assume you're wrong about everything to continue gathering proofs, right up until the point where it impairs your ability to search for them =] -
I think a small part of is it environmental factors like people have alluded to in this thread, even I won't deny it can have a small influence. However it's mostly hormones in utero and shortly thereafter. Yeah it's reasonable, and worth it (even if you bull-rush the entire process without much contemplation in my experience). Nonetheless it is wisest to contemplate it periodically in a quiet place and do some research into it until you're satisfied with an answer. You're semi-likely to lose family over it, that part isn't exaggerated, but I truly do believe that the transgender "regret" thing is exaggerated (mainly because people try to take ownership of your emotions for political points and like to say you are "regretful" when you are occasionally just "sad" that you couldn't get used to your "default" body) --OMG i am also sorta trying to score political points here! oh well.. *cries* This conspiracy helps elucidate to what degree some people are fearful and angry towards transgender people --they'll being hallucinating figures in prominent spaces just so they can redirect and amplify their anger with society. How dare parts of reality defy gender norms at some points along the timeline?

Why is it confusing? Both sides have a strong emotional investment in the outcome of this race. They'll apply whatever lens they need to to make themselves feel better. It's not inherently that bad unless you start fighting in the mud about it with other people, though. Also there's so many voices out there going on about blablabla their past records and why you should listen to them instead of the other millions of people on the internet, so it's not hard to imagine that one of these people will present their ideas and then their ideas didn't happen. Trump could win, but personally I see it as becoming more and more unlikely.

I actually compared psyopath's intelligence's to meteor's (rock's) intelligence; I was at no point referencing IQ.

I know there's a line to walk there but it is best to walk it. My brother hates the entire LGBT community and we had a falling out. I still try to send him christmas and birthday stuff because literally why not. I'm aware of this and I stand by my statement that they exhibit the intelligence facet better than they do the love/compassion facet of the universe. I think everyone has their own signature of each element of the universe despite it also being universal in a sense.

The system may be clever but it will probably have gaps in it due to the fact that it is a band-aid on humanity's distorted perception of the universe. Then the system will fade and we will still experience other orange problems. It's sorta like when you hack off the top of a weed and don't pull out the roots. You can make the exterior look pretty but the weed will grow back. I think you need to add one more descriptive adjective to orange. It is certaintly not rational to eat donuts and McDonald's, but plenty of Oranges do it. Let's put it this way, even if science solved climate change, an orange society is not worth living in. (Well it is but you get my point). And it makes sense to be clever and kill two birds with one stone. Or three, or thirty.
-
Oranges can be vegans no problemo. They can't apply energy in a systemic, holistic, and thorough way to address a problem as massive as climate change in the same way that a yellow or teal can. The yellow or teal will be much more effective.
-
Regardless, they comprise the vast majority of naranja people. Remember also that Orange is the season of the busy bee. They're gonna be so focused on chasing material things, scientific theories, and work/money that even if they think it's rational to help the planet they will be too exhausted to do anything in that direction. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Environmentalism is a collective endeavor and these other things are individualistic. You can only apply your energy in so many places.
-
Naranja is primarily about protecting the self, and the rich peoples are the one that are propagating much of the disinformation and ultimately much of the damage. They're also the ones that will be able to best deal with cataclysimic climate change. The vast majority of businesses (and all fossil fuel companies) do not feel that they will be hurt too badly by climate change, otherwise why pollute. Someone else will pick up the tab. Corporatism / orange in the United States is not concerned with leaving some kind of good mark on humanity. It is about advancing the welfare of people within the United States. And it is the United States that's holding up the planet the most. Most people in the U.S. think of the areas outside of the U.S. as barely different from extra-galactic planets, with extra-terrestrials that we simply have to deal with. There is no connection to them and no desire for synergy. All of this is because of nationalism. Accordingly anything that happens thousands of miles away has about as much weight as something happening thousands of light years away. Because we are better, or something =P
