@Mikael89 i am sure there was never that happening from the POV of the SELF. Also, SELF only ever knows SELF The distinctions of finite living beings is not known by the SELF. It is seen as itself. -

@Serotoninluv maybe that's the ultimate realization that all of what we think or interpertate is false... It has an apparant meaning but no true meaning Maybe that's the deepest insight that all in indeed meaningless as meaning is just what you assign to it -
SoonHei replied to Nadosa's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nadosa That is a belief which will persist as long as it is believed. How is it believed? By thinking it. By recalling it. Instead tell yourself the opposite... Affirmations maybe? -

@Jack River exactly Thought is content / phenomena just like a physical building, sound, taste etc in the absolute -

@winterknight @Emanyalpsid From your current place of being / witnessing all. Do you have a way to know what will happen after the body-mind thru which you live now dies/passes? What will you then be? Or are you already that which I maybe suggesting you will become in the future I'm more so asking what will you "live as" if not the body... ? Right now you are able to communicate your wisdom (or express it since the SELF does not do anything) thru the body... That will cease to be and you will then become all of it. Without a centered body-mind view that you seem to have now? -

@winterknight i guess it can be said looking to point out building or university is like we are looking to point to a smell out there or a sound or a sensation or a taste... These do not exist out there Only in the "mind" which will not be found in the physical manifest. Ya? -

@Hellspeed let's explore the why What is fear. A thought. You only fear something you believe in or believe it can / may happen A belief in a negative thought so to speak Same way. You can also attract the opposite of fear... (Positive thoughts) How? By believing in the positive thoughts! By envisioning those thoughts happening the same way you may do with fear thoughts and end up attracting those Fear for most people tends to be "stronger" because the lack of self belief in most or thinking something maybe too good to be true or not very likely happen to them When it comes to the negatives, our minds are well geared for believing in them more Strongly... Maybe due to the survival instinct which goes with fear...? This needs to be understood and thus overcome and then planting of the positive seed thoughts with a bit of belief based watering and you will have your fruits <3 -

@Emanyalpsid so how does one overcome that, the belief in concepts such as truth/existence etc... Is it the seeing thru of it? Recognizing that one must let go of this also How does letting go really happen... Since we can't really choose to let go or attach to certain thoughts/beliefs A seeing which can be equated to the example of "seeing the snake for the rope it always was" needs to occur How can I see the reality of the rope to then finally truly automatically let go and understand that the "snake" is harmless as it is just a flippin rope. -

@kieranperez sure there is. True prayer is law of attraction However, your emotions must align and be in tune with that which you want. You must feel the emotion NOW to manifest that which you want in your future. Only then will you truly get it The act of prayer alone is merely words It must have the emotional feeling component that goes with asking for it -
today what happened to me while I was driving is that I was doing a breathing technique to be in the present moment and I was doing this throughout the day. so I of course recall leaving my home and then I knew where I was going to be and what my destination was and throughout that time in between our remember traces of the memories of my travel from home to my destination but I had this thought upon reaching my destination but I don't necessarily recall how I got here from my home. it was almost as if I was literally living in the present moment and not having even a moment's recollection of what had just passed and at the same time that I ask myself how exactly that I drive my vehicle so perfectly without crashing or bumping into anything and following all the traffic rules (hopefully )

@joeyi99 sure. sure it can be the number one priority if that's what you wanted to be and it also does not need to be the number one priority if that's what you wanted to be. However keep in mind that with Enlightenment once there's Awakening there's also the realization that there is no planning out the rest of the life of a particular someone because there's no someone there to be planning a life it's all just to play which is ongoing and will do so for eternity -

@winterknight Hi I would like to know: 1. Once you awaken / Once you are watching and witnessing life complete from the point of view of the absolute, then: I presume that then there are still sounds, sight, taste, sensation etc ... But no "you" to be experiencing them as that duality has collapsed... So if there is still those senses, there must also be pain (physical pain)... For example if, God forbid, you slipped and fell and broke your leg as a result, there would be pain... Is the degree or intensity of the pain be the same for you (winter Knight) vs for me (ego SoonHei) ? Does an enlightened being feel the pain equally but someone is still free from it? Or it doesn't "hurt" them anymore? Could you try and explain the pain? I guess it must be felt the same way as other senses of taste. Feel, hearing seeing etc... But I'd like to hear your point of view Thanks 2. Is enlightenment largely the combination of the following: i : quieting of the mind (and) ii: if there is still some occasional mind, then having 0 attachment with that mind? And any thoughts which arise are seen as not you and merely observed. So in conclusion, am I correct to understand this intellectually that with enlightenment, this body which I currently think I am.would basically been seen to self animate itself with all actions, walking, eating driving etc. All senses would work the same way and about talking, it would just arise "automatically" without a me there running the show... Without a mind... It would just be spontaneous and it would be in tune with the "best / optimal" flow of life. Thank you winter Knight. -
Watch the video first. 1 minute video only. This is Kinda how and why most of us cannot see the TRUTH... The attention is on the content/Maya and the truth is missed. Because our attention is on the pointing finger only Ignore, but also did ignore the message about cyclists in the video as required

Quick question if someone who is aware can answer... So in light of the new thread by @winterknight Are there any other regular forum users who are enlightened? Asking becomes knowing that advice given from the Enlightened allows you to deeply try and grasp what they are saying and from which place they are saying it. Thanks

Absolute infinity All possibilities were created So there is no why to that question of yours because it's just one of the possible things which exists and thus it just IS WITHOUT CAUSE So, sure from the absolute perspective (think of sponge in Leo's video) the section of the sponge somewhere within the infinite has your current ISNESS in it right now and it has a pre determined path . No free will. But essential to note that the no free will is from the absolute perspective. From your perspective, the relative perspective of the ego, you do have free will . So put in the work using that free will and awaken to the truth Think about it How can you know if you are destined to awaken? You can't However if you don't so the work, it's quite obvious isn't it? The chances of random awakening would be quite less... With the apparent free will that one's got, should be used to put in the work to awaken and once awakening occurs, you will know it was indeed pre determined that you will Awaken -

@Preetom hmmm <3 I know quite a bit and am a big believer in giving weight to the intellectual understanding of the path But I lack direct experiences... Not many of those but the ones I did have were very important and freeing me and showing me the light And yes. Self inquiry and really knowing who does the meditation and the goal of meditation is important rather than the meditation itself -
What the absolute is, cannot be known because it is unknowable. What we can know about the absolute are it's qualities such as eternal, infinite, unborn, omnipresent, knower of all ... So on. But WHAT THAT is, cannot be known. It just IS and it's knowledge of ITSELF is that it's always been there, forever without a beginning

@Preetom @Dodo @Leo Gura Thank you guys! Wow.. didn't think of it this way... It has ALL. Qualities = also means it has no qualities #FullCircleMindFuck -
Had an episode yesterday when I just couldn't stop the thoughts from arising... Couldn't shift my attention I should say. It was also hard not to identify with the thoughts because they were all relevant to what I had been thinking about my life plan and work/buying a home etc So these thoughts were negative, about things going wrong, losing job, losing money on investment of the house... All the what IFs X, Y, Z so on went wrong... all were bubbling up and picking traction I felt weighted down and heavy by this I don't know it it stopped. Just basically went thru the beating of the mind I tried focusing attention on breath but that itself also became heavy. My attention went from my thoughts to my breath but it didn't ease the weight / heavy feeling I felt... I wasn't so sure how exactly to surrender... I tired just sitting/Laying on bed and letting the thoughts bubble up but it made it harder as by "surrendering" it kept attachment to thoughts and it were relevant thoughts about life decisions so it affected me more Saying that I am not my thoughts and merely aware of them didn't help because although I am not my thoughts, the thoughts were about potential things in my future that I'll do which may go wrong I am in a much calmer and better place now But I want to know how to better defend against such mind attack next time.. Thank you

@B_Naz xoxo <3 Yeah. I mean I have done it in person too but it isn't all that useful. It's decent But people of forum or comments elsewhere on YouTube but referring to and talking about non-duality and self inquiry That's the prime reason why I do that on the forum cuz that's all it's about pretty much So observing from a distance in this way deepens the understanding IME And this also helps me to be able to do it for my own self-inquiry with the distance maintained as I observe -
recently, i have had some deepening of my insight and view into the nature of thought/self i can be aware that i am the watcher of the thought/self/desire and the fact that any contemplation/understanding is pretty much thought, talking/answering to thought - the only unchanging factor between the two is MY KNOWING of the thoughts as we all know, if the full deeper level insight has not occurred, it's quite easy to be dragged from the place of watching the thought to being/becoming the thought and attaching/associating to the thought. so since my deeper understanding of the insight, i have started to do one thing which has helped and continues to deepen the understanding (hoping it goes full circle and I am free from this entirely) what i started to do is watching/listening/reading the thoughts/conversations of OTHERS it is easy not to associate and attach to the thoughts/comments/conversations of other members on this forms. i read what they have written and watch from a place of awareness... what also helps is that even if i am watching from my ego - in this case, there is still a distance which is maintained between ME and the thoughts of others in this view, i can easily see thru the delusions of the mind which is really kinda like watching my own mind since we are all one in this watching, i deepen my understanding irony of this all is that i have written all this from my ego perspective (parts of it I would say) but having the intellectual understanding allows you to meta-observe others and deepen your own understanding and then soon you can be watchful of your own thoughts from a "distance" <3 you all

SoonHei replied to Annoynymous's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Annoynymous to break away from attachment, it must be "seen" that you stand apart from thoughts There is no "your thoughts" when you break away "Your thoughts" merely become just thoughts or thoughts known by you - that is when one breaks away, might be brief but that's the essence of it.
