@winterknight another question i have recently been interested in and sort of understood the free will / illusion of free will it seems, according to that, that whatever happens must happen and was destined to happen sure i can change how my life pans out my having a thought about say starting a business or acting on it but again, having that thought come up in my mind about starting a business was out of MY control choosing whether to pursue it or not was out of MY control and so on... in that way this also applies to teachings/spirituality then, does it not? actually, better to say, it applies to everything, but i am singling out spirituality to understand it's effect on it. the fact that in a depression, the one who is in that state, is identifying with that state because that's just WHAT IS HAPPENING the moment he has a thought or realization while allows him to see thru it or even dwell further into the depress, agian, that's just WHAT IS HAPPENING even this here now, 'me' trying to understand this by asking you this, that's just what's happening so in a way, sure with the illusion of free will, one can take control of their life and steer it accordingly but bundled together with the fact that i am not controlling what i appear to be controlling... for me it seems to just collapse somewhere there... in other words, whatever paths we all go on to find liberation, are in a way already "structure" created and whatever must happen, will play out... i also feel that the ablity to be able to see thru a certain negative thought in the moment is only realized if that is what was supposed to happen since choosing or having the thought about wanting to see thru or inquire into the nature of that thought , was out of MY control i seem to conclude on my own usually as i am doing so here. and it would appear that sure, it does happen this way, on its own. but in that happening, once traction is gained, the realization must be "close" because the ablity to be able to detach out of emotion or a feeling is readily available compared to before where you just dive deeper into that thought...

@winterknight is it correct to say that while energetically associated with body/mind - the thoughts which i have in my mind reflect my current understanding of the knowledge/mechanism of reality? it's almost as if the higher self is what is doing the learning and moving "closer and closer" to recognizing it's own true infinite/unbound nature as it moves closer to that path and becomes more aware, the thoughts which i have in my mind are again reflective of that new level of understanding of the higher self and finally upon full realization, those thoughts either subside fully or only appear when required but are then entirely reflective of the true knowledge / point of view of the higher self.

@Lou7 each time it happens. Refer yourself to this moment right now where you are free of that feeling of dread or something bad about to happen. In this moment right now. You know and are aware that [ 911 = something bad will happen. ] is only a thought. i read this recently and I like the analogy... thoughts are like blank cheques, the moment you sign it, it becomes a real cheque which holds value/weight... don't sign the 911 cheque and just let it be Counter the negative thought by this knowing that it is simply a thought. If it persists, just notice it and allow it to be... Notice it from a "distance" by not attaching to it. And if thats not possible, allow it to be as it is and try to be aware of your emotion/state thru this

@lmfao about the tangent on time. Think of reality as structure. Think of time as a physical aspect of it. There is no magical variable of time which can be denoted by the tick tock of a clock Think of time as the "frame rate" of Reality Just like when recording a video... 30fps, 60fps etc For someone moving thru quickly within reality, they jump "ahead" of someone stationary who they were with in the same frame of reality. Now when you travel really fast, you arrive into the future technically... Time for you ticked slower but you moved ahead into the future as you were moving thru reality as it were. Since Reality is a giant infinite structure. The person who was at rest will also be there in the future that you move into, However time will have changed for them at their regular rate and they would now be older than you as special relativity shows For the most.part, just like you said, hard to put into words... But i have a visual seeing and understanding of this structure of reality.

@winterknight thank you Follow up question: So if someone gets away with rape, after causing much trauma to another human, and there is no day of judgement/hell to fall back on either, how does the victim find peace? Yes, perhaps time heals all wounds, but overall, there seems to be no justice/condemnation in a case like that.

@winterknight Have a question from abroad... They say we’re all one and the same. How can we not be mad at or punish, say a rapist? Sure, he has the same life/creator/God/soul inside him as me. But his psychological structure is different, causing him to harm other beings.

@Wyze of course there is hard work and aiming for the goal but that's just what unfolds on it's own sure we have the illusion of the free will that we are the one working hard or aiming for that goal but that's just it, an illusion of the free will focus on this for a minute and think about it, then answer: What is the difference between FREE WILL vs apparent / illusory FREE WILL? The true answer is: NONE there is no difference whatsoever between the two. so if you say, well it certainly feels like i have free will or choice... look, i can move my hands this way *wavy wave with hands* or i can say anything i want to like FEIOWJFIOJEW WEIOFJWIOEJF IOEWIOFJ WOI and the simple response would be: that's having an illusion of free will. it won't change anything in your experience but it's a knowing which can be directly seen and then understood. which brings about true freedom.

@Aaron p sure thing. another way to understand is to note that the process is similar to when you go to sleep note when you "try to sleep" you cannot sleep? we have all had those nights where we just cannot fall asleep and what we do is "try" to sleep which does not work and then eventually, somehow, after sometime, we fall asleep that's letting go of trying true letting go happens without you knowing that you are letting go - you must also let go the idea/thought of letting go

2. Who is aware of the "I, who doesn't know his true nature" ? The ONE who is aware is who YOU truly are. Simple aware. Notice there is a "distance" between this ONE and the "I" who doesn't know his true nature. All there is, is"weight" given to the thought that you are the "I" For example if you think for example, you're a pirate. The substance of that thought is the same as any other thought. But what's difference is your belief in it or the weight you give the thought. Blah, hope someone else adds to it.

@Serotoninluv i am not really sure how i would define it as experiential only that when i first watched that video or heard about this concept that I am literally everyone - i didn't fully grasp it. i understood... but i didn't so this was a deeper understanding? might have been the "experience" which brought about it.. but right now i am unsure what that experience might be or look like if not for the understanding alone as far as this point is concerned i did have a positive / followed by a heavy mixed feeling emotional reaction to it. so it was definitely deeper and i fully understood exactly what it is meant by we are all one... vs just the hearing of this term before..

So this explains how you are everyone and everyone is you! So I will outline in steps for you. 1. Consider right now the Thing which is looking out of your eyes right now (largely your visual field of you from your eyes) . That is the only thing in existence. With me so far? It is the only thing or intelligent being which exists. This is the only LIFE which there is. Right now what makes up Anam is this blank canvas of Life which starts off completely empty. Then bits by bits prices and memories are attached and remembered and your body and behaviour is conditioned. That blank canvas is what you are and you are everywhere, behind everything, behind each eye looking out of not just humans but all living animals on earth, in the galaxy, in the entire infinite universe. 2. Now understand that the thing looking out of someone else's eyes is precisely the same thing! It is literally the same "you" which you consider yourself to be right now but all life and memory replaced by the another's life, the same canvas just colored differently!!! I think leo recently made a video about this too but I didn't grasp this fully then. Wow. Amazing!

@111111 good one also yeah, i checked today, the video addressing this is Leo's Halloween video, The Radical Implications of Oneness amazing! Leo was right. I may think I get it, until I truly get it! i understand now where and how this unconditional love comes from, i guess loving someone who has murdered your family member requires next level ego-transcendence and i am not there yet but i deeply can relate and feel empathy seeing and understanding how others are really me the person whom i hate the most is also me the homeless on the street is also me the guy who cuts me off in the lane is also me and so on... wow. what i also liked in the video is where Leo says to experience the whole of it, i have to let go of this current bubble which I think I am. the ego can't handle the truth as it's so profound that it must die upon the realization of it .

@Rilles are you talking mainly about the fact that you are me and i am you and you are leo and you are @non_nothing and you are @Flammable ? is this the insight you had and deeply grasped? i had this insight last night, and it was amazing! and kinda sad as well in some aspects... makes me think about all the people i feel i may have wronged in life.. i rememeber being a 8 year old kid and slapping some 4 or 5 year old kid hard in the face just because i didnt like his older brother and nobody was around to see... i slapped that poor little me hard in the face oh man also, in my current job, i deal with worker injury claims... some of the claims are allowed, some are denied... the ones which are denied often end up not getting paid for the time they lost at work due to their injury because it didn't mean our guidelines... but it could have gone either way, to be allowed or denied. just sad to know that all of those workers are no different than who i am . they are literally me! i guess for now, i gotta accept what it is, it's an aspect of this job and that's really how it's gotta be to function well in this. i cant blindly allow all claims even though i maybe feeling deep love for them seeing that they are me! anyhow. epic stuff

@non_nothing the REAL TRUE ONE SELF is the one seeing all that, the observer of it all?
