You are a reader, reading the book to find himself. You only know and can only know the world of the book. You are not in the book, you are the one reading it! You cannot see yourself or find yourself. You can only realize that you are already and have always been yourself. Your thinking that you will find yourself in the next page, or the next chapter or the next book in the series is what's keeping you from discovering that you are yourself right now! You, the reader are self aware but overtime have been pulled so deeply into the world of the book you're reading that you think you are the main character in the book. The character in the book cannot know you, only you can know you. The mistake is trying to know yourself as the character... The impossibility of a protagonist in a book being able to find/know the reader is quite obvious. End your futile search and recognize your ever-present self now! You are already that! If only there was a page in the book which had no paper or words but a mirror, you would get a gilmpse of yourself. Maybe you're reading that page right now? ?

They say God loves you 70x more than your own mother. Yet everything is God's infinite love at play. At all the times. So relatively while a mother's love maybe conditional/egoic to a degree... There are moments of sacrifice wherein that is total embodiment of God's infinite love. A mother giving up her life to protect her children. Many videos about animals doing this and real life examples of mother saving children by giving up their own life. This is none other than God's infinite love shining forth in the relative way of looking at the world. Another example is that of forgiveness... But again, relatively speaking, not an ordinary forgiveness... But that of a father/mother forgiving the killer of their child. That is none other than God himself at play... Imagine the impact of the killer after such an event... God love is every present. But in moments like this it shines forth like a million suns.

Impermanence means everything is change, not things change. Things ARE change. You ARE change. You are a verb, but we function as nouns. The open question is a mind that does not fixate on form, which is death, because all things are dying. Remember, things don't change in time: things are change. Things are time. You are time. Time cannot die. The realization that you are Time, change, is Zen.

@Consilience now is the unchanging upon which the changing takes place. NOW is not like a video which is paused. NOW is a video playing and NOW is the current time, undivided but cannot be captured. The moment it is captured, it's not the NOW. Once again. This is a map at best, you know from your recent experience that the real is beyond all these words/concepts. Trying to make sense of it in thinking you will once again GET IT is futile... You'll only get the analogy... Only the description of the taste but not the taste itself. Let go of trying to get this and let go of the one who will then try to let go.

@Raptorsin7 "why it doesn't last?" Because it never begins... If it "starts" it will surely stop and end and thus not last. It is not yet understood by the fish what water is... Is the fish ever not in the water? It is like the fish asking why does the water come & go? If it asks this, it is not yet aware that water is ever-present. The Water / The Self becomes Revealed.
