  1. https://www.gaiam.com/blogs/discover/how-to-be-more-mindful-just-by-breathing-and-walking Mindfulness walking could be nice! No need to grow 24/7. I'll try that @Wyatt Yeah maybe walking is poor time to learn anything. Planning for the future sounds is a good idea tho!
  2. Yeah, thats the one ?
  3. New memory foam mattress made the biggest difference when it comes to my back alignment. It was also recommended in the internet for back problems. Good ones you can get from Tempur, but Ikea ones are good too for their price. I have a Malvik on top of a medium-hard divan base
  4. When I was having lower back problems due to four herniated discs, I found that laying on floor alleviated the pain, and begun to sleep on the floor. Slept on the floor for a year, but didnt really notice a difference with my sleep quality. To me it was just a temporary help for my back pain. Was glad to get back to sleeping on a (now quality) mattress For 3 months it sucked majorly, but then I got used to it. It also helps with productivity, because laying on the hard floor is not the most comfortable thing to do
  5. "Heyyyy its Leo here, and in this short 60 second segment Im going to tell you how to get enlightened in 7 steps. Its actually super easy if you just follow these steps. Also remember to follow me on Tiktok, Instagram and sub to my channel, and like my channel, and mate my channel, and buy subscribtion to my Twitch thx bye" EDIT: I just realized that this would have been an amazing april fools video from Leo ?
  6. Had very, very poor social skills until 17 (also played games 12 hours a day until that), poor skills til 19, medium skills at 21, medium-good at 25. I first discovered self-help at 17 and have been practising social skills ever since. I am still poor at some areas like game, but sufficient at almost all others. Listening and clear communication is something Im working atm.
  7. Globally speaking this is very true. In western countries people in "poverty" can easily access the information highway tho.
  8. Many self-actualizers seem to have this illusion that anyone can get their shit together. Getting born rich does not give you easy life because you have lots of money, its because being born into a rich family gives you access to free life coaches who's advice is worth 500 dollars an hour and peer support when you start your first business venture etc. The less fortunate bunch of us have to rely on books and learning through our mistakes.
  9. Watch out, you are demonizing half the population of USA. Many different beliefs and views fit into those 160 million people. Some of them even love censorship and cancel culture, its their way up the pecking order. Besides, devoted christians have always been babies throwing a fit
  10. Exactly. Like what? Hell and sex? Succumbing to the devil? This has been done before I was born.
  11. Its music. And video. Put together. Better and more unique than the average, theres nothing special about it.
  12. I think this is it. They are petty. Being an arrogant atheist or "anti christian" in this case is a sign of immaturity. The artist might have grown in a strict christian family and never got over that edgy atheist phase some of us have when we are teens, and now he wallows in resentment against religion so much so that it has become a part of his personality. Its even beneficial to their careers since like you said, it creates media controversy and gets those edgy teenagers to idolize them. They love riling up christians because... Well, trolling is fun. Making people you resent angry is soo much fun! And in this case, really easy. @Frylock You could add to the opening post that the shoes actually contain human blood and that Nike has sued the designer for trademark infrigtion. Those might be a bigger part of the controversy than him being gay black man.
  13. I have ADHD, I think its a milder type but ADHD nonetheless. Concerta got me through college, but it either lost its power or it doesn't help with anything else with me. Personal notes: Stage orange advice, like affirmations and stuff like that dont work with me. I can do them 3 months tops and I cant continue because the disinterest becomes too great even if they work like charm, and they do work like charm. Exception: Dopamine detox and limiting high dopamine activities like TikTok or 9GAG are MUST for someone with ADHD, its very easy to waste your life watching cat videos and playing videogames. However, the perverted side-effect of ADHD is that you get hyperfocus for things that do interest you (The bad ones too!). You will know you have found your passion when you find something interesting and after studying 12 hours a day for 2 weeks you are still interested and its easy to continue working on reaching your passion related goals. You dont need tricks, you dont need to wake up at certain time and chant four words in front of a mirror every morning, midday and evening. If its your passion, you just do it and you never get tired of the work. If you are truly ADHD, use this as your advantage. On the sidenote, you mentioned that you might have ADHD? Would it be financially possible for you to go take a test? EDIT: I dont believe there is a definitive drug, diet or lifestyle that can cure ADHD. Alleviate symptoms yes, but not cure. It is a neurological disorder after all. Adderall and Concerta may work for a short while, but personal experience and what I've read says that they stop working.
  14. @Thetruthseeker Luxury girl is 1k per night and a line of cocaine is 100 pounds, you could do that every night for 3 months, or 1.5 times a year for 60 years if you plan your finances wisely Jk. I would choose the simplest option and put 85% of the money in a fund that has average revenue of 5-8% per year and low expenses, then 5% to a savings account for unexpected expenses and if interested, 10% to whatever high risk investment(s) I'd want to play with. In 5 years you would have around 117k with relative ease and the 10k you put into crypto investments would have transmutated into a Porche that stands in some Chinese investors garage.
  15. People are also -unknowingly or knowingly- disguising the fact that true poverty is going away in western countries. Poverty will never go away if we think of it as percentage of the pie. If we use the term "poverty" in 2150, it will be used to describe poor, people on earth who have to take total recall trip to Mars because they are too poor to afford flying there on a space ship. I think complaining about the rich is backwards way of problem solving. First you should figure out a problem (Like low funding of public schools in certain area) and then you should figure out an efficient way to raise funding for the school, for example raising the taxes for the rich. If that is the most efficient way that the experts and professors can come up with, then so be it. Wealth inequality is literally a non issue, in fact its GOOD! It means that the nation is capable of sourcing money from an overprivileged part of society and putting that money into building the nation.
  16. The poor are not getting poorer. Nowadays you can see a smartphone in the majority of poor people's hands. You can even see them driving cars. You can see the poor having access to unlimited information, even to some of the information that was held only by the most powerful 1% fifty years ago. The poor AND rich has been getting richer since the beginning of industrial age. This is not a race between rich and poor. Saying that rich get richer and poor get poorer is the most populistic bullcrap I have ever heard.
  17. Im curious, if you get the vaccine in USA but you dont have a health insurance, and you happen to get sick due to the vaccine (This is a what if question) would you get treatment, or would you get fucked because you dont have an insurance?
  18. Im not afraid of the side effects. What I meant to say is that I am the last person that should be vaccinated. 99% of the population have more reasons to get vaccinated than me. My only contacts are the sales clerk whom I meet 2-3 times a week while some jackass student may have thousands of contacts per week because she wants to party or he wants to go to bars and cafes. Also, in Finland only around 1.6% of the population has been fully vaccinated. Im not even getting the chance for a vaccine in a long time https://www.euronews.com/2021/03/26/covid-19-vaccinations-in-europe-which-countries-are-leading-the-way
  19. Dont trust yourself or news. Trust studies. I'll take the vaccine when they either tell me to, or when essential workers and people with higher severity rate have gotten one. I live far away from my family and friends in a countryside. If I get the job I applied to, its done from home. Im less entitled to a vaccine than a father of 3 children who works as a sales clerk.
  20. Exactly, I have always wondered why people make these topics. You are just making it harder for yourself to return when you need help or wisdom in your life. Not every decision has to be black and white.
  21. Where there is passion, there is a way. And vice versa. If you spend 40 years working 7-7 in a Nike factory pulling bootstraps through football shoes, someone might say that "he was the most hard working man that ever was" at your funeral, but that's about it. Its hardly fulfilling or passionate life to live. Unless you find enlightenment, but that's pretty rare. Don't be stupid, be lazy and you'll know when you find your true passion.
  22. Jar Jar is the greatest Sith lord that ever existed ?
  23. Im not name calling. Lets just say that those whom I trust about this matter are not fanatical about veganism or vegetarianism. I dont listen to fanatics.
  24. I cannot comment on how a healthy vegan diet looks, because I am not vegan, and even my knowledge in vegetarian diet is lacking. But I know that vegetarian diet and vegan diets are healthy if done correctly, because people who know more about nutrition than I do has said so. And I respect their opinion. There is no one diet to rule them all, we all come from very different cultures and background, and I believe that is a big factor in what type of food our bodies thrive on. I cant imagine what happened to an Inuit if you forced one on a vegan diet.
