Thinking is just an appearance, perception of thoughts in your mind, what is the thought? - Language or a certain image. What is the language, a sound prescribed to an object, or a vibration? What is an imagine which appears in your mind as a thought? Visual memory that you mind reproduces. Thoughts come out of nowhere, there is no source that produces them. This is not what non-duality means. Non-duality, non-dual, not two, in other words, there is no subject and object, all is one, non-duality is when in experience there is no separation between two opposites, for instance: me and the other. You are confusing non-duality with something else. Dream paradigm: real vs. illusory for ex. when describing the nature of reality.

I think you are idealizing awakening. First off, is there "your deal"? Hm...very interesting, looks like a free will to me. Second of all, should it be a certain script of the process, if yes, who determines that? Infinite potential realizes itself as is right now. Since it is infinite, who says that one facet of it is more correct/truthful than the other?

The nature of the mind is to reason, contemplate and reflect. This is how mind produces the food for "your" survival, to sustain itself. Time and length of the process is needed to keep the ego on the journey. Would it be interesting for the highest good to hide itself and immediately be discovered? Confusion is there for a purpose. Experience is slowly unfolding, each confusion and realization/insight leads to another door and deepens the experience of the Being. You are in the maze. That is the point, to confuse you. Reality gives you exactly what you believe in it. It is a two-way street. Remember how the photons of light were changing their qualities when being observed? The observer and the observation are one, they depend and impact one another. You get exactly what you put in.

No problem… I don’t believe in the law of attraction because I don’t believe in the self. What and who is going to attract the dream girl? You think you exist as a “doer” therefore you believe in a free will and effort you can make to attract a dream partner. You use language to describe the phenomenon of Reality or self. You are One, there is no other. the only way to “attract” is to realize and totally surrender to the fact that you might never meet such woman and then to accept this fact. You surrender your deepest desire no matter how much it hurts. Bring your egoic self to the cross and give it away to the hands of “death”, no you , no dream girl. @Adodd you are settling in experience of being “silent observer”, which is just awareness becomes aware of itself. It will happen more often, then it will normalcy. Later on, you’ll start noticing another weirdo “thing” - you body will seem like living life on its own. You don’t need to control it. Body will be doing things on its own only for you to notice and recognize that there is no “doer”. But you won’t notice it immediately, the registration of this fact will only be realized post factum!
