  1. @Inliytened1 I can't agree more, though in the beginning it seems like seeking or doing, it's actually the cessation of doing and looking directly into the abyss. Terrifyingly simple.
  2. Truth is not a state of consciousness. And most importantly you dont 'attain' truth. States tend to be blissful and ecstatic so its reasonable many people fall in love with them. adyashanti, Rupert Spira and @winterknight offer some good insights on this topic, but you can realize it yourself by doing serious surrendering. At least that helped me.
  3. It seems you just seek comfortation. Well if I was your father I would just throw you out of the house and tell you to create your own life. Of course if I had everything served to me I would be the same way, like most of us would be. Just get your ass outhere and eat some shit, then you will see why things are serious. Seriously why take anything seriously if you have all the comforts, stop being a mummy boy, get your ass outhere and be your own man. If you dont do it now, life will do it at some point, just don't get to old, the suffering will be unbearable
  4. @LfcCharlie4 i think you wasting energy here. its no different than trying to convience people trying to reach happiness through money, there will be allways more you can get. "hey man.. have you ever experienced a million dollars? so dont speak!", but clearly they seek more, they are not complete, and they will allways seek more, because the ego is never satisfied. if i were you i would not waste so much energy, because we are 7 billion doing this thing, not just this community. just let them be. time will tell everything like it allways does.
  5. I was a mental masturbator for 2 years, when I started seriously doing the work, I realized how full of bullshit I am and mostly everyone here is. Ita challenging to sit down and take your life seriously, it's much easier to open a platform and start debating about beliefs and words.
  6. I'm very grateful that someone here is aware of that ? I think is great that you have worked with other teachers as well, you have a much broader perspective. As I said in a previous post, this constant seeking combined with the claims of being more conscious than jesus and buddha is kind of suspicious And if course is not necessary to have done lots of psychedelics to observe that people are not self realized yet. Even though as I said with great peaks. Thanks for the post
  7. I have never seen someone awaken from psychedelics. All I observe is Ups and Downs to the baseline, its like they are on a traboline What suprise me though is people *understanding* the whole universe and absolute love being defensive and calling people that are not aligned with their ideas clowns. People are actually defensive about their psychedelic path! I also think that mystics are not completely irrelevant, they expertise is spiritual dimensions, which they are constantly on, if I were you i would consider their concerns. Now as far as this being a technology, as I said in the beginning i dont see anyone here awakened. It's funny actually, people taking psychedelics for years without a significant change in their baseline consciousness although with significant peaks, and if you doubt them they are very capable of getting angry.. personally I can't see the technology. If you were to take from them all substances forever how close would they be to surrendering themselves. I dont know guys do you really want to be needing constantly something from outside to be spiritual? If it were to stay okey! But it seems it doesn't. And again if every substance is taken from you, has anything changed in your experience significantly? If yes, sorry ignore the post Cars make you experience speed that alone could never reach, but they will never make you a faster person. Of course I might be missing something, these are just observations I made over time in this community, and also I'm not heavily into the spiritual path, so please dont expect me to get triggered and answer every little post and forgive me if I'm naive.
  8. That's kind of what I'm worried about, enlightened beings radiate a strange but beautiful silence, they need nothing to be happy and at peace, they are completely free. Whatever happens, happens.. Relaxed into their Truth, without fear of death, powerful but at the same time humble, pretty mindblowing to observe... On the other hand people on psychedelic path with mindblowing experiences seems very conditional happy and with a clear sense of self preservation and fear. I only see satisfactory understanding without any freedom. @LfcCharlie4 I think you got the intention of my post. I appreciate your engagement Everyone I dont mean to say psychedelics are not beneficial in any way. I specifically talking about enlightenment here.
  9. @Aaron p Of course, everybody is different, we are just pointing the fact that it doesn't stay. And in terms of how long will it take for enlightenment to happen for good, is unknown, probably is not even a shortcut. how close are you to surrendering yourself after the trip wears off ? cars of course are shortcuts. they can show you speed that alone could never reach, but they don't make you a good runner
  10. @PenguinPablo exactly, and I should add that i dont think its just the understanding, it's how much you embody and breathing the understanding, the profound silence that yogis and enlightened people radiate simply can't be compared to some peak experiences that fade away.
  11. you can also observe some of the people who are walking the mountain compare to some who took the helicopter and have some good insights on that here i found some pilots
  12. i see.. i guess thats a good reason to be able to laugh about it at the end of the day.
  13. I'm not even close to advanced, nor I consider my self conscious, but I will leave an observation here. I've seen leo so many times admitting he was being wrong to things. That he passionately was teaching to people. So many times that there are many doubts that he will not change his mind again. Also people that follows him spent significant amount of time listening and trying to verify teachings that are no longer true. I see as well a good amount of people *verifying* things leo is taking about at a particular period of time. For example. When leo said "I'm god" so many people bubbled up after that. "Yes, I had a breakthrough, I was God all along" they say. I don't want to argue about the god thing. I'm not even into spirituality to discuss anything. But what all these people were waiting for all this time??? I just see a pattern of people following the spiritual experiences of leo, which is kind of weird. I'm not a teacher or pursuing spirituality significantly but I think is good If the teacher gives something complete to people and not just teaching his own insights while his development. Especially if he is not even to the point of prioritize spirituality or any path over anything else. Please dont consider this as an attack The most impactful advice I took from leo is think for your self.
  14. When I was at your age they've bullied the shit out of me. Learn martial arts. When I started defending myself they stopped. You will not be anxious at all since you will know that you can defend yourself. And dont forget that bullies are just unsecure people. Just stop feed them. They want's you to feel bad. If they can't do it, they get crazy
  15. @Beginner Mind interesting question. Who know's. Assuming that these communications exists maybe physical death is not ego death after all..
  16. in my experiance, change will come gradually, you may make some good steps, but old beliefs, habbits etc. will push you back after a while, it takes great courage to keep going regardless the resistance you will face, the ego will do anything to decieve. learn to love this process and you will be good. it will take time though.
  17. If psychedelics can be trusted for delivering valid truths. Why most of enlightenmened people dont suggest the use of these substances?
  18. i have exactly the same problem.
  19. "Perhaps we'll never know how far the path can go, how much a human being can truly achieve, until we realize that the ultimate reward is not a gold metal but the path it self." -George Leonard
  20. @Leo Gura If god does reveal things to people that have a burning need to know, why god revealed some of the things you talk about to you and not to other hardcore practitioners, Om swami comes to mind. You yourself have said in the past that you could not go to that extremes. so why you have these insights and others don't.
  21. how can you sustain relationships after you grow beyond the ordinary concerns of everyone else. it seems that you are in a different world. i'm not talking from a judgemental POV nor i think i'm better than anyone nor i want to change anyone, its just difficult to find a common ground to relate on.
