  1. "Debunking" dozen of studies that measured the effective levels of vitamin D with a python script that guesses levels of vitamin D based on genomes. Good one.

  3. I've always disagreed with the notion of superior and inferior stage in spiral dynamics. Stage green deconstructivism or stage yellow can be seen as indecisiveness and ADHD. A farmer devoted to his daily life produces the food that feeds those that deem themselves stage yellow and he may live with much more meditativeness and silence than those that deem themselves at a superior stage. That farmer doesn't have the time and luxury to invest into endless thoughts. How would Einstein would have performed if he had to produce his own food, we don't know that.
  4. Deconstructivists don't like to be deconstructed do they
  5. Very nice. I've taken cold showers everyday for a year hoping I would get used to it but it never got better, it got worse if anything. I don't know what to tell you because I experience the same thing. You can stop striving but you'll become fat, unsharp and irrelevant overtime. Striving seems to be a state that at least keeps at your best, as awake as you can be, if you can sustain it your entire life I'm sure you'll have a better death than if you didn't. edit : replacing word struggle with strive
  6. I'm seeking and I will show you if I find and I can.
  7. it's dishonest for you to say this because you want to maximize your impact, you want to elevate other people consciousness (or however you explain the goal of your work), you keep doing these trips so you're still seeking to download the wisdom of "infinite consciousness" back to your earthly life. Another way to say it would be that if you reached actual infinite consciousness your ego would have been solved. In fact true actual infinite consciousness would solve the entire universe, for you, me and the trillions lives, either the infinite singularity would go into actual eternal and absolute stillness or all the egos would just enjoy the ride actually eternally.
  8. @Leo Gura The "infinitely conscious" may be what you experienced but you weren't actually infinitely conscious in a reticulated manner because the first thing you would have done would be to make the state permanent or accessible at will. That's so basic I don't understand that years after doing these trips you still don't get it or bring some humility into the way you express yourself.
  9. If it's all the same field why do you care, let him go to prison or not anyway there are billions of people not in prison.
  10. Don't leave the body by damaging it brother you're going to suffer. If you really want to die at least starve the body, go live in a forest and stop eating until you starve to death, it's summer so you can do that and if you can't then at least try to OD on 5meoDMT (in a way that your consciousness can't come back, not in a way that you choke on vomit or something to that extent so you have to be careful with body positioning). But far better do yoga and try to leave the body consciously in lotus position you got your entire life to succeed in that.
  11. One important difference between suicide and murder is the pain, fear, suffering and frankly death that you experience when you suicide and not when you murder.
  12. I linked a video of one accusator as she's the clearest spoken but you can find others. Since the police raided his ashram and he flew I would guess there is some substance behind these allegations, but it's possible it's not the case. I made this thread mainly for documentation, personally I'm not particularly swayed one way or the other and in any case he deserves a fair trial should it come to that.
  13. I've not heard anything too ground shaking on that front. He's mainly encouraging women to pursue their femininity rather than trying to become more masculine than men. His work is for society to value femininity more.
  14. Meh, I don't think so. He's quite fine in my view, he has big shifts in personality too depending on the context. Look how cute he can be
  15. That reminds me of a Darshan with Sadhguru, during the Q&A a woman got the mic and asked if she could cook for him, he trashed her so badly it was something to behold. Wise man killing the problem before it hatches.
  16. If what she says is genuine and this all started because few kids complained to her that they were beaten then her heart is very commendable to me. She was walking the path of liberation devoted to her path and guru, then she learned that her commune was abusing kids so she stepped up and did what she had to stop the abuses. I find it very beautiful that despite the absoluteness of what it means to walk the path one takes a stands against child abuse. "You may talk about ultimate liberation but I won't let you abuse kids", it's so beautiful.
  17. That reminds me of something :
  18. Soaked peanuts are the yogi's super food. I don't know about peanut butter but since peanuts are so good I'm not sure why it should be bad.
  19. It's eating very little carbs in a day like less than 25g. Vegan keto can be difficult to achieve but people are doing it with avocadoes and peanut butter. It's true that it normalizes the energy level and after some time you no longer crave sugary food (you may still be psychologically tempted, you need to sustain keto for even longer to get rid of that also)
  20. Maybe they feel they are faking it and overdoing it. Another thing is genuine positive people will work to get someone out if his shell either directly or by his mere presence and cockroaches don't like when you turn the rock they live under.
  21. Very nice and very true that if you go keto then processed food feels alien and artificial. Where in nature do you find a meal with the amount of sugar contained in a cake ?
  22. Tough call. It's not easy to get good earnings as a musician. On the other hand you have only one life. Your first mistake was to go 77K in debt for a degree that you consider not even using because your passion lies elsewhere. You probably studied CS because you thought that you wouldn't earn enough with jazz so I would keep with that initial thinking since you committed to it years ago. The most destructive thing you can do is to change path all the time. Work in CS and have Jazz as hobby, it can actually make a pretty good life as many people in CS are nerds so you'll stand out, you can make it work beautifully if you can juggle with those two lives. Also if you get really rich as in you build a successful startup then you can do like Paul Allen and retire from CS and become a musician. Anyway those are just my two cents as I know nothing of you, you have to arrive at a decision within yourself.
  23. Very nice. And did you see his daughter Mikhaila with all the make up she puts on ? She looks like a puppy or a doll it's somewhat creepy, especially that she looks totally fine with much less makeup, I'm not sure why she's doing that.
