  1. The mind wont graps this easily without the use of changing your state of consciousness. You must take a psychedelic then observe all 3 changing. Then you will be able to understand your question.@jelmar35
  2. If you would successfully awaken, that new state would carry pleasant qualities with it that I think would be more pervasive.
  3. Yeah it helps to understand what is happening, then you know its just a temporary state of consciousness, understand what facet your observing, and the more you allow and non-react it gets smoother after each time staying mindful. Keep in mind the law of impermanence. That can help you.
  4. Yeah I know exactly what your talking about, I had moments like that before as well. Like the mind will have insights that are so sudden and in your face kinda thing. Im not sure if this is the same for you but I noticed there is also a fear of getting "stuck" in certain ways. Usually it works best to surrender into it and just allow the acceptance of the moment.
  5. @NK13 Also I have been to the war in Afghanistan so your analogy there is still not specific enough to understand what your asking?
  6. @NK13 Well, it depends on so many factors. You gotta be specific. Lumping your question to encompass the entire personal development journey will not give us a good way to answer your question. Some aspects you can go as extreme as you want with little repercussions and others will get you into serious trouble or even death. So it depends. Are you talking about developing technical skills. is it meditation, is it psychedelics is it social skills and dating? Is it understanding your existential nature? Overall you will know when something is too extreme because the effects will be obvious.
  7. @Rafael Thundercat Yeah I watched those. I was asking to make comparisons between my own person method I use, and what Leo might use. He doesnt explain his person method in "how psychedelics work" or the Death video, so pay attention to whats in the actual video bud. Plugging is already understood as well. There is more you can do with a protocol and process of taking psychedelics than just plugging and waiting.
  8. @Gabith Semen retention helps, go about 3 weeks without sexual gratification and the anxiety should be reduced greatly. working out also has similar effects. proper diet, and meditation help calm the mind as well. Then you just wanna practice in front of people at focusing on your breath or relaxing the body. I found that i hold tension in my face and jaw and i actively relax my tongue which seems to help the anxiety. Bring up topics you are well informed of or passionate about and talk about those. Youll forget about how your feeling and be focused on what your telling them. I find that helps as well.
  9. Id just say its a useful tool to integrate into your practice. "dropping acid" pings it into the stigma. So how you word things can have an impact on how your viewing it. How you view can influence the results. LSD is a serious tool to be using. Its been one of the main substances that influenced my perception and insights into the nature of reality, so use it methodically.
  10. Yeah it sounds like a taste of Samadhi. It seems to only come about spontaneously. Any further chasing after it will always keep it from you. So just keep doing your meditation practices and maybe youll hit it again one day. But you can not chase or recreate it by desire. It doesnt function that way. This is a good example of the power of "not knowing" because you did not know about it, it was able to come about, now that you know about it you will be forever chasing, which keeps it from you. Because there was no desire to reach it, it was given to you. Now there is an egoic desire for it which it will be withheld from you. When you let go of that desire it may be once again experienced spontaneously. LSD was an important component so that factor may also still be necessary for you.
  11. It sounds like Samadhi. Was this state very "vibrant" almost fluid like, yet very still, To include feelings of euphoria?
  12. @Leo Gura Which psychedelic do you recommend for contemplating questions? I know some make it smooth and others it can be very tricky to even stay on one topic for very long.
  13. A data base would be cool, An example is something like this. Keeping in mind SET, SETTING, DOSAGE. So you wanna choose a location where your very comfortable in. Your home, hotel room, cabin, or campsite would be safe environments. However to be mindful of the camping one as there are more potential dangers, and Id only recommend for someone who knows how a specific lower dosage will effect them, which has been prior selected, and has experience in tripping in that kind of environment. Its encouraged you do not do high doses while camping specifically. Have enough food and water premade to last for the duration of the retreat. Make sure the environment chosen is safe, removed weapons if applicable, And that your aware of any other people who may be near your location, such as family, neighbors, citizens. After the environment is squared away. You wanna have a preplanned timeframe written down to structure your retreat. It can be however you like, your designing the day. The duration of the retreat and start and end are understood. Then you want to confirm all of your doses are measured out that you'll be taking. Consumption is recommended around noon on an empty stomach. Make sure your feeling well, Physically and Mentally. Have some trip intentions written down, or questions your planning to contemplate. Meditate for at least 20 prior to consuming. Consume and be safe and responsible. Having a trip log of some kind may be useful. To document your experience.
  14. That same thing happened to me years ago, I thought God was communicating with me through music. lol. I smoked too much weed back then.
  15. As the title suggests, I resistance train in the gym 4 days a week and rely on protein powder as my main source of protein, with carbs and calories, I cant beat that convenience. After learning that there is so much heavy metal content in that substance, Im now discouraged from using it, yet I desire to continue using it. So would it be worth it to just incorporate the chelation process Leo mentioned into my lifestyle to counter this or is this equal to "filling up my cup after I just poured it out kinda thing"? I can see this idea keeping me at a stand still if i chelate then immediately add more back and forth. Any advice would be helpful!
  16. Unfortunately yes, depending on your dose. 100-200mg or more. You will feel depressive like symptoms the next day. Recover can be sped up if you take 5HTP after.
  17. MDMA is one that will cause damaging issues from repeated use, one time isnt enough to actually fuck you up. Unless you do overwhelmingly too much of course. Its definitely worth a therapeutic cleanse, to at least expose you to that state of consciousness. No more than a couple times a year imo.
  18. Yeah exactly, thats what I was thinking as well. Or get some activated charcoal capsules and down them with the final sips of the shake.
  19. @Leo Gura I like the example like an oil change, that makes sense. So im thinking ill consume spirulina or charcoal as secondary to every protein shake I consume, then periodically run the in depth chelation process to reduce my over all heavy metal levels. This should allow me to continue consuming protein powders? Final question would be, what activated charcoal brand or "mg" amount can you recommend? can you send a link? I appreciate the response Leo, and thank you @Jannes as your questions were fit perfectly into answering mine as well.
  20. @BlessedLion This site has both options Leo mentioned. https://www.livingsupplements.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=6_8&zenid=3ch42mk7nhentm27qsa08fpq65
  21. WOW thats brilliant! What a great technique! Thanks for sharing!
  22. @Leo Gura My first answer I thought was face it and ride it out or was that one needs to just surrender into it, I didn't think to make those particular additional applications to it, that sounds like a very effective answer! Thank you!! Its almost like i can already see that working beforehand just thinking about it? When i think back in retrospect I see how that answer would have helped my situations lol. Definitely good to carry into future experiences.
  23. Is there any recommendation you have to how one may attempt to "reinterprete" unpleasant states like that?
