  1. Nice stuff @seeking_brilliance I also like to paint and draw, I like mostly to do comics. Maybe I do the same as you and I begin to post my stuff in my journal. I like your paintings!
  2. Yeah, totally haha... It really caught me by surprise, because I never imagined that something like that could happen in real life. It's like the stories you heard in fantasy or sci fi books, even though is just a small animal, it's really happening. Nature is so wise and resourceful.
  3. I am watching a series on Hulu called Bloom, it's Australian and I really liked it. The actors are really good and that caught me, and the story was interesting. It's about a flooding and when it happened some people died. And in the places where they die, a plant grew with a special kind of fruit. And by accident they discovered that if you ate that fruit you become young again, so a lot of old people began to eat that fruit and become younger again, but only for a limited time. The thing is that a kid told one of the old guys (that was young at that moment) that he was like a "Turritopsis dohrnii" I couldn't avoid looking for that in google, so I did a search and it results that really there's a kind of Jellyfish that is immortal. In the sense that it can revert the aging process and go back to an immature jellyfish, a baby jellyfish and grow old again... and so on... I was amazed and I wanted to share this in the forum. I am not sure if this is the correct section of the forum to post it, if you wanna move it to another section, it's Ok. I also wanted to know if anyone else knew about it and what are their thoughts about this particular little being that can go back to a young age when it feels threatened. Here you can find the link to the wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turritopsis_dohrnii And here there's an interesting article published in the new york times magazine about some scientists that are investigating that really crazy biological phenomena. https://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/02/magazine/can-a-jellyfish-unlock-the-secret-of-immortality.html
  4. @mandyjw @Natasha Too much wisdom in this topic! We take wisdom from everywhere, right? And if Sia said it , it is really us saying it too! Not "us"... in fact, just me... or let's say you! Lol...
  5. Ups! An "Aha" moment! Thanks again mandy! Lol
  6. Awesome @mandyjw such a beautiful way to say it. You totally nailed it! Thanks! :-)
  7. @PurpleTree I think you can do it when you connect with the universal mind, the Buddha mind. But, I have no proof. I never seen anyone doing it and I never did either. I think reality is a construct of the universal mind, not of the mind we think we are. Not a construct of the ego mind. But, I don’t really know. ?
  8. @PurpleTree No, I didn’t. But, why do you think that if you are everything you have to do things in a different way than the natural way? Why do you have to manipulate matter? If you are a mountain, you will behave as a mountain.
  9. There are different levels of enlightenment. Not all enlightened beings do those things, and when they can do, they don’t. Because they see that miracles like a way for the ego to brag about it. That’s why Jesus didn’t do miracles all the time. But he said, if you have enough faith, you can tell that mountain to move and it will do. But he also complained that he had to do miracles to people believe in him. But instead he let nature take its natural course and allow the romans to crucify him. He didn’t defend, instead he was in a position of complete acceptance. i know it’s hard for the ego to accept that. But things are the way they are, not the way the ego wants.
  10. Ok, cool ... thanks! I will try that. I discovered too, that it is easier to remember a dream going backwards. Instead of thinking "what was the dream about?" and try to remember it from the beginning it is better to go from what you remember and then go backwards. Ask yourself "what happened before that?" I could remember a lot of dreams that way, but not this time... Thanks for the tips!
  11. Lately I am not capable of remember my dreams... have to continue working on that. This nights I had the idea and knowledge that I had a dream, but I couldn't remember it. I think I have to continue working on reality checks and stuff... I will post if something changes!!! Happy dreaming!
  12. It's really crazy and that's what blew my mind completely. I felt that it was even more clear than real life. In the dream I remember thinking "when I wake up, how am I going to tell the difference btw this and real life"... it was crazy hehehe...
  13. I forgot to mention, my reality checks are to check how many finger do I have. Looking at my hands from time to time. I ask myself if I am dreaming and I take a look to anything weird in the environment. I try to look for signs and see if I can read what it is written on them... Not more than that, I will check other methods too.
  14. Ok, I got you... I will begin a dream journal. I knew I have to do it, but for laziness (probably) I didn't do it. I will put a notebook on my nightstand so first thing in the morning I'll do is to take notes about what I remember of my dream. I knew also about those techniques, I am doing reality checks but also not as often as I should. I will try to make reality checks every hour during the day. I let you know what happens!!! Thanks!!! @Shin This is the only Jason I know:
  15. I understand this statement like if you try to keep your ego you will lose your real self, you will not know you are the universe or that you are "that"... And I think he is talking about what happens after you die. So, you will lose all memories, everything about being an ego, you will not integrate that part and you will be one but what remains from the ego self will disappear, because it never existed in the first time. But what is that you will preserve? Because the real self is always you, you can't lose it. So, even if you "lose" your false sense of self you will remain. Does that has another meaning, does Jesus try to say that somehow the ego self can still be let's say "integrated" in the higher self? I always wondered about that, what do you think? I would like to see/read other opinions.
  16. Nopes... Yes I think it will help me to become awake in "real" life. I also read about the toltecs and how they did lucid dream to create better dreams in reality and I am interested in that too... I will try to be all day focused on lucid dream...
  17. Isn't reality a dream too? No one is dreaming in reality. You just become conscious that you are in a dream... and then you realize that life is just a dream too! BAM! You are enlightened!
  18. Ok, thanks! I will wait for you to tag me.... you are the boss hehehe...
  19. There's no toaster.... you are the toaster
