  2. Joe Rogan's perception is too narrow minded. Yes tough situations do create strong people but that does not mean that we should be inviting tough times. That's too irrational and illogical. Good times create less stress. Does Joe Rogan realize how much stress leads to the degeneration of our "strong" Genes? He is being off base.
  3. Yes I had this same profound realization a few years ago. Our mind can be very deceptive and lead us to believe things that aren't true. You have to use critical reasoning skills all the time.
  4. Do you have a clear cut vision for the future? Have you ever thought about using a dream board or a vision board? How are your time management skills in your opinion? I would recommend Tony Robbins video for motivation. It helped me a lot during my dark phase
  5. @B_HAZ the reason you feel ashamed is because you have shamed yourself into it. Let go of the shame and judgement and see how it sets you free. It's important to be as neutral as possible with yourself. You're tightly clutching on to beliefs that aren't serving a good purpose other than making you feel small and unworthy. Get out of it. Easier said than done. But take gradual steps
  6. Actually you should open up to your therapist as much as possible because that's the whole goal of therapy. Bottling up those issues inside will not give the therapist a clearer picture. It's almost like hiding your kidney ailment from a doctor

  11. @B_HAZ learn more about shadow work. You will have to do self inquiry everyday like Leo says. Then gradually you will be able to recognize your older patterns instantly. And not repeat them. Sit daily and contemplate yourself and make a thorough move to slowly improve yourself in baby steps. It is possible if you keep trying. You will gradually learn to leave your past behind. Also understand that 99% of whatever negative you think of yourself is a part of cultural and social conditioning. Don't think anything about yourself. It's pure judgement. Keep moving forward toward happiness and health and give your life your best shot

  21. Actually if you trust anyone blindly, expect to get fucked. Take advice and but when it comes to implementing follow your head and heart. No advice is 100% perfect. Every thought or opinion is the product of that person's own experiences, these experiences will vary from person to person, their experiences cannot be yours and vice versa. No advice is good or bad, totally wrong or right, because what doesn't apply to you might apply to others. Nobody has perfect advice. You have to take advice from 100 people yet follow what's best for you. Try to embrace a neutral non blaming attitude and be tolerant of other's opinions and thoughts even if they are different from yours or not suited to you. Develop an understanding and acceptance of all perspectives. Maybe his advice didn't help you but it could have helped someone else. Before you point the finger, heal your own blindspots

  23. Today I've a lot of work cut out for me. Physical work. It's going to be a bit laborious. But I will somehow gather my energy and get to do it. There is a ton of work. I need to get some plants in my balcony. Arrange a lot of stuff. Today it's my family member's birthday.
