It has no prerequisites, but the glass ceiling is still there. You will only become so conscious by filling your life with unconscious things. It's sort of like you're asking, "But can I earn a million dollars while I'm pissing my money away every day?" Consciousness is not an attainment. Consciousness is something you do 24/7. So if you ain't being conscious, you are being unconscious. In practice, people who are committed to an unconscious lifestyle will not become conscious no matter how much they train. Their training will not be genuine. As you become more conscious you will come to critical decision points where you have to let go of old uncoscious stuff. And if you fail to let go, you will get stuck there until you do. The hot air balloon will only go as high as how many weights you cut off. -
@Lynnel Best way to detox heavy metals is with the chemical: DMSA. Best way to test your current heavy metal toxicity level is with a DMSA provoked urine test. DMSA is a serious chemical, so needs to be done with intelligence.

Easy solution to this: send nudes below the face. So no one but you two know it is you.

It is simply the absence of the idea of you. And you are in the way of that. See it now. There is no you reading this sentence. There is simply a sentence appearing. It's like an optical illusion. You're simply looking at it the wrong way. -

@zunnyman Sure, you could. Enlightenment has no prerequisites. It's there to be seen 24/7. -
@Jayden Birch Being a sage IS a specialization. Sages sacrfice a lot to be sages. Don't confuse being a sage with being a dabbler who just reads whatever books strike his fancy.

That's precisely where life purpose becomes invaluable. If you knew your LP, you would know which direction is right. But now you're just a leaf in the wind. When you base your business on making a quick buck, 95% of the time you end up with neither the satisfaction of following your passion, nor the big bucks.

@Marcell Kovacs Make music that elevates people. That's all that was said.

Realistically, if you cannot muster the strength and consciousness to leave a toxic relationship, you will never muster the strength and consciousness necessary for enlightenment. It's sort of like you're complaining about being too winded from hiking up a local mountain trail, so you're hoping that by scaling Mt Everest you will then be able to hike your local mountain. Yes, that's technically true, but you see the problem with that logic, right? -

You can't. It is a thing beyond the notion of "being convinced." An awakening must happen. -
Leo Gura replied to egoless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@egoless I never said you could escape society. I said the exact opposite: we are all in this together. I basically gave you a high-level strategy for using the system against itself. You can generate lots of money doing conscious things. I never asked you to become a bum. -
Leo Gura replied to Max_V's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yup, that's how it works. Enlightenment is death. No shortcut around it. You gotta keep facing it until you break through. The desire for Truth must outweigh the desire for life. It helps if you can intuit that death is an illusion. You are already dead. You just don't know it yet Psychedelics help a lot for this particular problem, as they will just force the death upon you, even if you are scared, so it will be too late to stop it. -
Leo Gura replied to egoless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Of course. Although it can be helpful to visualize how you might be after enlightenment -- more selfless, more loving, more detached, more profoundly connected to reality -- or to visualize yourself meditating seriously and genuinely. That alone will not enlighten you, but it will make you more serious about your practices, which ultimately will. That shouldn't be done as a replacement for self-inquiry/meditation, but as a supplement to it. In the same way that all great athletes visualize themselves winning and performing well, which is not a substitute for training. Spirituality is really a lot like athletics. You train and you get results. No training, no results. -

@BobbyLowell Loving yourself is important. Don't confuse that with loving the ego. Ego doesn't really love itself, it hates itself.

@pedro23 The whole beauty of being a monk is that no one has any strings over you. You can do whatever the hell you want and there is nothing they can do to stop you. -

You can't help becoming more liberal as you move up the Spiral Dynamics stages. Because conservativism is largely based on closedmindness and tribalism. -
I would suggest that you don't actually love yourself. So here's the solition: 1) Do self-esteem exercises (Nathaniel Branden) 2) Practice more self-love through visualizations, affirmations, etc.

@Angelo John Gage All of that is concept. A story within a dream. Concept-land is not Truth, it's "relative truth" instead. -

@Angelo John Gage The truth is, you invented all those "facts" -
Leo Gura replied to Will Bigger's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Will Bigger You are underestimating the power of consciousness. It can literally dream up any kind of reality is wants. You are confusing perception with consciousness. Idealism is just another name for nonduality. Psychedelics would quickly show you this.
