  1. Not in practice. Moreso only in theory. There is a big gap between the ideal of science (our cuture's myth of science) vs how it's actually practiced and held. Scientists are no less dogmatic than most people. Good luck trying to get one of these "humble, open scientists" to seriously consider that evolution is non-random, for example, or that consciousness isn't happening inside a brain.
  2. @Nadosa Start practicing mindfulness with labeling. That is the surest way to deconstruct thoughts.
  3. @DrMobius There is no double standard. She started with 12mg. Read more carefully.
  4. That is extremely stupid. DO NOT DO THAT! Giving psychedelics to friends is a bad idea the first place. Let alone 5-MeO. Let alone 30mg. Start with 10mg if you must. If you can't do it properly, then don't do it.
  5. @zikzak Right. Although 28mg is a crazy dose regardless.
  6. @egoless She is not into spirituality or Truth. She just tripped a few times.
  7. I haven't used 5-MeO in nearly a year. I've been using other lesser psychedelics and having trips almost as deep as 5-MeO. One of the reasons I wanted to test other psychedelics is because most of you guys will never be able to access 5-MeO. I have found other great psychedelics which are more accessible and as good for consciousness work. Raw power is not necessarily best for consciousness work. Also, my breakthrough 5-MeO experience from a year ago was so epic and deep that I needed a long time to fully integrate it. Only now do I feel read to return to it, after many smaller trips which have developed my foundation and ability to surrender. Also, at this point, I have complete ego loss on even very small doses of almost any psychedelic. The 5-MeO isn't really necessary for me any more. All of my trips, even the light ones, are profound beyond words. And I have other psychedelics which I enjoy more than 5-MeO. In some ways, the less experience you have with enlightenment the better. Then you can just fully be open to whatever the psychedelics have to show you. But this isn't always true. It depends on the person. My gf was very openminded about it, and just willing to surrender, which is all that is really required. But many people cannot do this. Prior to her breakthrough dose, she had done one light mushroom trip, one moderate dose of AL-LAD, and one small dose of 5-MeO. That was enough of an introduction to handle 28mg of 5-MeO successfully. But of course, that won't be true for all people. In fact, I think most people would be totally unable to handle 28mg of 5-MeO. It would be traumatic experience for many people. You need to ramp yourself up very gradually starting from 10mg (snorted).
  8. @AleksM Okay, once again I have reactivated the old system. Hurry up. This is your last chance guys.
  9. The forum is getting a little bit of improvements. The biggest of which is a new bookmarking system. The old bookmarking tool was quite bugged. I'm not sure if anyone used it. The new bookmarking tool looks very similar, but has no bugs and gives you additional options. To bookmark a post, click the "Bookmark" text link under any post. You will then have options for categorizing your bookmark, adding notes, and the option to make your bookmarks public or private. All your bookmarks are stored under: Your Username >> My Bookmarks People can see a list of your publicly visible bookmarks on your profile page. P.S. The old bookmarking system has been removed, killing any bookmarks you may have made. If you had any important bookmarks there which you really want back, I can temporarily re-active the old system for you to transfer your old stuff. I'm not sure how many people were using it. So let me know if you really need it back. If I reactivate the old system, you will then have about 1 week to transfer any bookmarks you want, after which point it will be gone forever. The new system is much better. I'm excited to have folks using it. Notice 11/21/2017: The new bookmarking system has been temporary deactivated so that people can retrieve info from the old system. DO NOT make any new bookmarks right now, because this is the old system. Notice 11/23/2017: The new bookmarking system has been re-activated. Notice 11/24/2017: Once again the old system has been reactivated so people can save all their old bookmarks. This is your last chance. The old and new system look similar on the surface. How you can tell them apart is: the old system's bookmarks are stored in: Your Username >> Bookmarks while the new system's bookmarks are stored in: Your Username >> My Bookmarks
  10. I have described it to death. But what good did that do you?
  11. @The White Belt By your silly logic enlightenment would be impossible because there would always have to be someone who discovers it first, without any teachers or books.
  12. Okay, the new bookmarking system has been re-activated.
  13. @Mr Being Can't you have that discussion in the Life Purpose sub-forum? Just try to have it without posting course content. Many people have been asking questions there without revealing too much.
  14. Here's a good-looking course on Sacred Geometry by a Freemason: http://sacredgeometryinternational.com/sacred-geometry-classeslevels-1-3 Someone try it and post a review.
  15. Of course. For most people there is no way at all. Which is why so few are enlightened. If suffering is your path, that's fine with me.
  16. Yes, of course. Infinity plays the role of many fools. It's hard to create a universe without fools. God himself couldn't do it
  17. On his deathbed the Buddha said: "Listen closely my disciples. I have strived so hard to overcome death, but I have failed, because I did not have access to internet."
  18. @egoless You are over-generalizing. I bet you haven't even met 5 enlightened people in your life. Rather than speculating about nonsense, go do the work. This sloppy way of thinking and speculating about reality is the whole problem. You are wrapped up in mental fictions.
  19. A fool will only learn through suffering. The reason most people do anything is because they want to escape suffering. Anything from losing wieght to buying a new computer. The key to life is to be conscious enough to motivate yourself into action without life having to kick you in the ass. I was never depressed. I do this work because it's the most beautiful thing to do. For me, understanding reality is the greatest reward of being alive. Nothing else compares. And this has nothing to do with escaping suffering. You need to learn how to change from negative to positive motivation. Otherwise your life will be miserable and mediocre. Doing the bare minimum is not how life ought to be lived. Living to escape suffering is just so boring. If that was my life, I would rather kill myself. You have this INFINITE creation to take part in, and all you can imagine to do is live to escape suffering???
  20. I would never be accepted in the scientific community. I would be called a psuedo-scientific, creationist quack who is trying to use science to backwards-rationalize his religious dogmas. That's not a game that can be won in that way.
  21. Stop all this nonsense and go self-inquire. You're wasting time.
  22. @Nahm What's interesting about Life Below Zero is that even though those people live isolated, their lives are basically identical to the average mediocre lifestyle: 24/7 survival mode. Surviving in NY or in Alaska is the exact same fundamental thing. Survival is relentless, no matter where and how you do it. Those people are still clueless about nonduality. Yes, being out in nature is nice and refreshing, but nonduality is far superior, and it doesn't matter where you do it. You can do it in a giant city.
  23. @AleksM However you like. You can maybe just save the URLs? The new bookmarking system will have XML export of bookmarks, so that in the future you can download all your bookmarks easily.
  24. Mainstream science is a cultural construct. That's what I'm talking about. Of course individual scientists can vary from the average. Yes, of course there are a handful of wise scientists around. Although surprising few. Even David Bohm didn't really grasp it. I know of very few scientists who really understand the nature of reality, metaphysics, or epistemology. Science is simply NOT that kind of activity. Science's focus is elsewhere.
