That is not 5-MeO-DMT. It will be significantly different. -
I am collecting questions that I might answer in future vlogs. The idea is to focus each vlog on one question about living life. Make your questions clear and concise. Don't ask me personal questions about my life. Don't tell me your life story. Just ask your question. There's no guarantee that your question will be selected for a vlog or answered. Given my limited time I have to be selective. I would tend to pick questions that would interest lots of others viewers. So don't make your questions too personal. Such as, "Should I become an musician or a filmmaker?" or "How do I get girl X to fall in love with me?" Don't ask questions which are too technical, such as, "How do I do meditation technique X?" Examples of the kind of questions I'm looking for: Is it worthwhile to go college? Should I major in something I enjoy or something which is practical & earns money? What should I be focused on developing in my early 20s? How do I overcome fear of failure when starting a business? What is required to succeed in business? How do I become successful? Do all intimate relationships end in failure or is it possible to make them work? How do I balance between pursuing a career vs pursuing enlightenment? What is the role of technology in self-actualization? How do I self-actualize if I'm living in an under-developed 3rd world country? Should I become a monk? Is this a viable life path? How important is money for self-actualization? What is the proper role of money? I seem to be stuck in a rut. How do I motivate myself to start doing the work? Can I ignore enlightenment entirely and just focus on success? What will be the result of that? Okay, you get the idea. Ask away. What questions do you have about living life?

@r0ckyreed Yes, empty awareness. You ain't ever gonna find a "thing" behind the eyes. All you will find is degrees of emptiness. And emptiness is not behind the eyes, it is equally in all places, since it is nowhere. -
Leo Gura replied to actualizing25's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@actualizing25 There is no clear answer. It depends a lot on you. It's a good idea to be open to exploring various methods to find those which resonate with you. Allow this to be a process of discovery and experimentation, that way you can stumble upon new stuff, new methods, new teachers, etc. Psychedelics will give you some solid glimpses but they will not be enough by themselves to embody awakening. You will need some manual practices. Developing your concentration ability is crucial. It think this holds people back the most. They can't focus the mind long enough to awaken. -
Leo Gura replied to r0ckyreed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@r0ckyreed In practice you ain't gonna awaken without psychedelics and/or crazy concentration ability. The point of meditation, contemplation, yoga, self-inquiry is to develop very strong concentration ability which is necessary to break through. Concentration is the key. It changes your state of consciousness when done rigorously and for long periods of time. Psychedelics make concentration much easier. Otherwise you gonna have to train your ass off manually. Questioning beliefs is good, but it won't be enough by itself. Your state of consciousness has to change. -
What is it you want out of life? We can't answer that for you. College is not going to solve any of your existential challenges.

No, all imagination and division comes to an end sooner or later and ends in Oneness/Truth. Dreams are always temporary. Awakening is not imagined. The dream is imagined. Awakening is beyond that. -
Leo Gura replied to Endangered-EGO's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Endangered-EGO If what you were looking for worked, meditation retreats wouldn't be a thing. You are not going to be meditative all day long while doing everyday tasks without decades of serious training. Either limit your meditation to short but rigorous daily sessions, or do a full 10 day retreat. Otherwise you will be half-assing it and get nowhere. Effective meditation requires rigor. -

Hypnosis is real and it can be powerful when done by a master. As far as videos go, of course those can be fake or exaggerted to gain views. As always, the more popular a thing is, the more dumb it tends to be. -

He spent decades building up to that point. Lower your dose to 2g and CONTEMPLATE! It's not about quantity, it's about how you use it. -
You're not a person at all. You are God/Love/Consciousness/Everything which has confused itself for a person. It is okay to be however you are and it is okay to make mistakes in life. Don't be so hard on yourself. Self-Love is the ultimate teaching.

@Jahmaine When you take too much, you won't be able to retain anything because it will feel like a dream. -

Consciousness gets lost in itself and then always finds itself in the end becuase it is ONE. This can happen via a million pathways. -
Not sure about that.

Leo Gura replied to Cepzeu's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
God IS Love, so it already accepts itself as that. You just require more consciousness of yourself as That. You are only "alone" because you are ONE with all things and others. Don't overlook that. -
It can, assuming you are willing. But if you are stubborn, then that is your karma and you are stuck until such time that you surrender your stubbornness. In a sense, karma is nothing other than your unwillingness to surrender.

Whatever there is, you imagine it. -
You can change them to whatever labels you resonate with, as long as it stays true to the original meaning. You can use a thesaurus.

You must dive deep into whatever color stage you are still struggling with. You can't be solid Green until you exhaust Orange. Become so Orange that you get sick of it. Then you will be truely ready for Green. In a sense, that's what Elliot Hulse is doing. He's playing through Blue and Orange. Burning through his karma to someday reach Green. If he ever reaches Green in this lifetime he'll see how silly and dysfunctional his rants about sluts and sexual purity were. But he needs to go through these rants to purify himself. So what you're seeing in his videos is his growing up process. The only problem is that he is dragging his followers along with him into the dysfunction. But he can't help it. So here we are.

@Cepzeu Very good. You hit the nail on the head there. -
I was amazed by this interview because in it Scaramucci (a stage Blue/Orange Wall Street guy) finally realizes Trump's stage Red nature. And finally he turns on Trump. The key moment happens right at the 0:30 mark. He realizes that Trump is not evolved enough to be genuinely racist because he's too much of a stage Red opportunist. It's the most amazing back-handed compliment I've ever heard, LOL: A great lesson in psychology and Spiral Dynamics. It's also very revealing that Scaramucci saw Trump's opportunism in the flesh, but it never bothered him until now. Which is exactly right. Stage Orange itself tends to be opportunistic without much remorse or foresight of the problems that such unchecked opportunism leads to. See, the problem with putting a shameless opportunist into office is that he won't hesitate to start a war if it helps him get reelected. The more cornered such a person becomes, the more dangerous he becomes because his only concern is his own survival. If Trump goes down, he will take the entire ship with him.

Hard to say. It is both epic and yet not much changes since everything remains what it was. You still have to take a shit the next day as long as you're surviving. -
Leo Gura replied to LittleMaslow's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Progressive change has always required years and lots of pressure. People in power do not just give up their power willingly. But also keep in mind, just because you want society to be progressive does not mean everyone else does too. In a democracy, many people are moderate or conservative. That means they vote for someone like Joe Biden. Bernie didn't have a money problem. His message was clear. It's just that he was too progressive for average folks. Bernie didn't lose because some evil elites held him back. Bernie lost because most voters are not progressive and don't want such fundamental change. In a democracy sometimes you have to accept defeat. If you are very progressive, chances are society will never be as progrssive as you want, because you are ahead of your time. This is not because of evil elites, it's because average people are not ready to make the sacrifices that progressivism requires. -
Leo Gura replied to Prathibha's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Prathibha It takes repeated tripping and contemplation to make sense out of what 5-MeO-DMT has to show you. There's a lot there. You won't get it apl even in 10 trips. So if you really want to know the Truth, keep going. -
Leo Gura replied to Schahin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Consciousness is always consciously creating, but you are not fully conscious of that.
