Indeed, awakening is required. Just what do you think Oneness means? You think you are going to realize Oneness and still maintain that you did are not doing industrialized killing? It's all you baby! Whatever horrors you see in the world are the very horrors you created. You are not gonna be able to blame anyone else for it. -

That's a concept. Actually there is only existence. -

Non-existence is a concept, which is existence. -

1) You can go experience what it is like to exist as a chair for eternity. This is not a theoretical point. Go do it and report back your results. Stop speculating about it. 2) What you are not taking into account is that even though consciousness is of course not limited by the brain, it is when we are talking about a specific creature. A specific creature is God having limited itself to that creature's morphology, genetics, and capabilities. So while God is all-powerful and all-intelligent in its purest, highest form, that is not true when God incarnates as a cat, mule, or human. Each of these forms has very serious limitations on its abilities. So while God can do calculus, a mule cannot. This is a temporary limitation of the mule's brain and genetics. This is not a permanent situation, but so long as God keeps acting as a mule, God will be limited to what the mule's form allows. And a mule's form does not allow many things, including calculus and God-realization. God is unlimited, but NOT when God is being a mule. "Mule" means limited. -

A human is an idea within the Mind of God. It's not the human Mind which realizes God, it's God's Mind which realizes itself. No, it is Truth realization. Go realize what God is. You speak of things you don't understand. The chair is your own Mind. -

One of my university professors was a world expert on Descartes. I had to study Descartes in depth. Descartes makes some very subtle arguments. -

A chair is also God. But a chair does not know it. Nor does a mule. Nor do 99.9% of humans. Just because something is God doesn't mean it is God-realized. -

Cause they clearly has no clue what God is any more than they understand that 1+1=2. -

Of course. One's conduct is irrelevant to God-realization. God-realization is a realization, not anything more. Like if a mule realized why water flows downhill. -
I'd like to see a video on the toxic world of no self-help.

You are never going to logic your way through this. -

Become God-realized and then I won't need to tell you. -

This is a common misunderstanding of Descartes. If you actually read and contemplate Descartes Meditations you'll see that the argument is not, "I think, therefore I am". The argument is: if thoughts or any perceptions are arising at all, they must be arising for me. Which means I must exist even if the thoughts and perceptions are a deception. The one thing which cannot be a deception is the I AM. Even if I think I am not, I still AM. Descartes was not saying that thinking causes I AMNESS. He was saying that thinking arises within I AMNESS. There cannot be thoughts without I AMNESS. -

That might work. Sounds like a YT video: Live Mule Awakening -

Cute, but your logic won't make a mule God-realized. Show me a God-realized mule and I will bow my head to you. -
Leo Gura replied to Mert's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's just a difference in emphasis and formulation. There is little meaningful difference once you have some awakening. -

Descartes was simply pointing out the primacy of I AMNESS. He was right about that, but deluded in other ways. no-self and Self are the same. no-self means Infinite Self -
Universal Mechanism of Life & God: 1) Do selfish shit to get happiness 2) Notice how it fails 3) Start doing slightly less selfish shit 4) Notice it works better 5) Repeat a 1000 times 6) Eventually discover that God is infinite selflessness The end

That's right. Takes brainz to realize God. Form needs to be a specific sort to realize not-form. A chair cannot be God-realized. Sorry chairs. You're shit out of luck. By your logic no formed entity can realize God. Now that would be a serious problem. -

Of course God is the devil. But that doesn't mean you must continue being a devil. -

How do you know anything? So? That doesn't make every moving thing awake. To be conscious that you are God, and to be conscious of what God is. Yes, probably. Although it's a question of degree. -
