You are still making distinctions. Every distinction you make is an outflow of creative imagination from the Godhead, and it's all Love. If you make distinctions, they are all Love. If you make no distinctions, that is Love. Love is so ONE that to even call it Love or One is already to say too much, to make it two. And yet, two is also Love! So it's Love no matter what you do. If you deny Love, that is Love. If you accept Love, that is Love. If you kill a basket of puppies, that is Love.

You can question the need for altered state of consciousness for 40 years, and still you will not understand the importance of changing your state of consciousness. There is nothing but states of consciousness. You are always in some state of consciousness. And the state you are in right now is very weak. You are not even 0.01% conscious. And no amount of questioning will get you to Infinite Consciousness. Questioning is weaker than a change in your state of consciousness. You will not solve this problem through questioning. You cannot break out of a limited state through questioning. Your state is absolutely fundamental. You will not awaken deeply without changing it. P.S. All states are Absolute. Stop framing states as distinct from the Absolute. This is yet another sneaky duality that you are creating. If you think that the Absolute is separate from states, you're not getting Oneness.

Your understanding is still full of subtle dualities between self vs God and control vs no-control. God is Absolute. Which means God is inevitable. God cannot be otherwise than what it is. It is completely committed to Absolute Love. Since you are God, you are the very nexus of surrender. You will choose to surrender, but looking backwards at it you will realize your surrender was your destiny. Whatever happens is inevitable. If you choose to surrender, that's inevitable. If you choose not to surrender, that's also inevitable. God is a tautology. It must be whatever it is. If God is Hitler, it is Hitler and it will not awaken. If God is a sage or yogi, then God will awaken. And everything in between. Your awakening is completely guaranteed -- but only if you actually awaken. Now you say, "But that's so obvious it's true by definition!" OF COURSE! God is true by definition! Everything true is true by definition because the nature of Truth is that it has no opposite, no alternative.

From what I understand about Owen, he had an alcoholic father who abused him, and before starting RSD Owen was a drug dealer. So Owen's past is deeply Red. No. If only it were so easy. In practice it's much harder and messier. Firstly, there's no guarantee that just being born to good hippie parents will make you Green. You could still turn out a Red rebellious teen who does heroin. Secondly, even if the kid has an easy path to Green due to his comfy environment and education, he will still not have fully integrated the lower stages. He will be a weak, flimsy Green. A lot of people in their 20's today are Green on the surface, but at their core they are hollow. They haven't developed the assertiveness and courage of Red, nor the discipline and work ethic of Blue, nor the success of Orange. This is very typical. It's a very flimsy Green. Such a kid will believe in universal equality but can't even muster the balls to approach a hot girl nor has the work ethic to hold down a job and pay his bills because his hippie parents paid for everything. In practice you need years of experience working through each stage. You might need to do it backwards in the sense that you start off as a hollow Green, then you go back and master Blue, then Orange, then Red, and then back to Green to fully appreciate Green and become rock solid Green, then Yellow, and beyond. Each of these phases might take you 3-5 years of active work.

After you do enough psychedelics, the distinction between being on psychedelics or off them starts to dissolve away. That itself is a duality. You also have to consider that people like Ralston were likely born with an abnormally high amount of natural psychedelic neurotransmitters. Not everyone has the same neurotransmitters in their brain just like how not everyone has the same level of testosterone. It's foolish to expect that you can out-lift someone with a natural testosterone level of 2000. Yogis and sages OBVIOUSLY have higher levels of the right neurotransmitters. This is clear in them from birth. They didn't work for it. They got it as a gift. I know people who were basically enlightened from childhood or were born with siddhis. You are NEVER going to naturally match the consciousness states of someone like Sadhguru. He's a genetic freak. Some piddly yoga practice will NOT be enough to match his level.
