  1. That is irrelevant to a discussion of responsibility. I have the freedom to spit in your face. That does not make it responsible to do so.
  2. Not needed for me. I don't want to take any addictive substances or do substances chronically.
  3. What is practical is what your ego needs for its survival. This is not to be trusted. What is practical is never holistic.
  4. The worst offenders are business gurus who sell you courses on how to make a business by selling courses on how to make a business. This is classic pyramid scheme stuff, and people buy it because they want to get rich quick without doing anything creative or original. There are many great self-help courses which are not pyramid schemes in that way.
  5. Yes Without theory, how would you know what to practice, why to practice, and how to practice? Practice without theory is extremely limited. Which is why doctors spend 10 years learning theory before doing surgery. Sort of, but you have to be careful here not to let theory become a slave to pure utility or pragmatism. Not everything you learn should be practical. Some stuff you learn has no direct practical application. The practical implications can be very oblique or indirect. For example, what was the practical application of learning about the French Revolution? Nothing immediately comes to mind, but it is still important to learn such things because of how they shape your worldview. Also, sometimes things are learned just for the sake of knowing them, not for any practical purpose. Much of learning is not obviously practical, so be careful not to limit learning to that.
  6. I teach advanced and radical things. If one can't stand the fire, get out the kitchen. Do more simple and friendly forms of self-help. Yes, there are many ways to misinterpret this work. It's pretty much guaranteed you will to some extent. That's why direct experience and personal contemplation is so crucial.
  7. Obviously it is relative. But there are lower and higher persepectives. Whining about masks and lockdowns and vaccines is lower.
  8. Yes, that's the key: selfishness is so radical. It's important that you realize that. Not everything, but 99% of what you do is. It would Being. A rock is perfectly selfless. A living organism cannot be selfless without dying. But there is an even higher truth: selfishess IS selflessless and Love! But realize what that means: rape and torture is Love. Hard for a self to accept that, especially when it is happening to you. That's the rub, all lines you draw are arbitrary and selfish. YES! YES! Now you got it. All language and thought collapses into silent nonduality. When everything is ONE, everything is understood and nothing more can be said or asked about it. The mind is creating all these divisions and perplexities, getting in its own way. The mind cannot ever grasp ONEness. By grasping it, it makes one into two.
  9. The best way to do cannabis is whenever you get the urge to do it, do 5-MeO-DMT instead.
  10. @aurum You beat me to it. Was gonna post on blog soon. Yeah, he has some good exposes. I'm gonna do a video in the future about self-industry dirty secrets.
  11. This is the error right here. Selfishness is not limited to that. Selfishness is anything you do to survival the self. For example, eating food is selfish.
  12. Well, that's cause you're communists. Biofilms can be disrupted with digestive enzyme supplements. This is just dumb because elemental diet definietely kills SIBO in 80% of cases. Fasting is just a stronger version of that.
  13. @zeroISinfinity Stop making this personal. This topic is not about her.
  14. Not true. People have cured SIBO with water fasting. It is not guaranteed, but it should have a pretty high success rate. It's just rarely done because a 14 day water fast is not easy to do. That's the whole point, to reset your gut. You can build it back up with probiotics after the fast is done. Well, that's just wrong. Bacteria dies after about 10 days. That's why elemental diets are used. You could try an elemental diet. It is costly though. About $800 for 14 days of elemental food powder. The whole point of an elemental diet is to starve out all bacteria, good and bad. Then rebuild with probiotics. Elemental diet seems to work for about 80% of people if done for 2 weeks. Goes up to 85% if done for 3 weeks. This is much easier than a fast, but you'll be spending $800 and you won't get the full healing benefits of a long fast. That's too short. It takes about 10 days for bacteria to die off, and to be safe you'd want to go 14. The key is to kill everything in the gut and start with a clean slate. If you leave it half-dead, that's no good. Fasting also has many other healing benefits that go beyond starving out bacteria. 14 days should give your gut time to repair and heal itself like never before in your life. It did not work for me at all. But it works for many people. Seems like 60%ish. Rifaximine is also ridiculously expensive. About $3000 in the US. You can order from Canada/India for $200-300, but it takes a month to arrive. You could also try to get free samples from your doctor. If he's nice he'll give you a 2 week supply. But samples are not always available.
  15. Hmmmmm... That might have lots of heavy metals in it. Not sure. They are tasty.
  16. Obviously rice, oats, polenta, and quinoa have no gluten, so they are much better than wheat. White long-grain rice seems to be one of the best grains, if you're looking for quick and cheap calories.
  17. Single is always easiest. But single women are rare. Groups of 2-3 requires more confidence and skill. But they are more common. During the daytime I would only approach single unless you got a wing. During the nighttime at clubs and bars you can approach sets, although realistically you need a wing to do that effectively. The logistics of it are just awful. Not easy to pry a girl away from her friends. Especially a 2-set. It's actually easier to hit on large groups of 5+ where you can pry her away without the rest noticing.
  18. @infinitelovegodetc Tell us more about your method, your practices, and what you ultimately realized. What is your age and what was your previous level of development/spiritual work?
  19. No, you definitely want to be doing some practices during research. Start and build up the most essential practices and keep doing research and developing a plan for future practices you want to implement. By rigorous I don't mean length of time or how many days in a row you do it. I mean, when you are doing it, do it strictly so that your mind is not lost in daydreaming.
  20. Simply not true. There are states of consciousness that are so devoid of ego -- which you have not even accessed yet -- in which you could not even have the ability to recall your name. Just the fact that you can recall your name and where you were born is already proof of a non-fully egoless state. The bottom line is this: if you were fully conscious, you would not be able to live as a human, so just by the fact that you are walking around and doing stuff, I know you're not fully conscious. You can pretend all you want, but you're fooling yourself.
