There are no guarantees. I like to think of Awakening in the following way:

Imagine you want to get struck by a thunderbolt. You cannot make it happen, but you can increase the chances of it happening to you. Going in a stormy night at the roof of a building and with a metalic stick start running in circles.

It is not a guarantee but you increase a lot your chances. In the same way, psychedelics increase a lot the chance of Awakening and even more with Mirrors. Nonetheless, even if you don't have an Awakening it's still a very fruitful practice. Mirrors are full of Consciousness in a way, they are magical. In my opinion, mirrors are the most underrated invention of Humanity. Mirrors are wild.
