I have not seen this one of  Alan Watts found it on the forum.

Tonight I am going to dream in such a way that I don't know that I am dreaming. This exactly what God did until I awaken.

You have to break down that wall of fear and let go of all your human attachments when you are on psychedelics let go let go.

This is interesting.

Researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, led by plant biologist Asaph Aharoni and biochemist Paula Berman, have successfully engineered Nicotiana benthamiana (a relative of the tobacco plant) to produce five different psychedelic compounds simultaneously.

The study, published in Science Advances, represents a major breakthrough in metabolic engineering, utilizing a "genetic toolkit" derived from fungi, animals, and other plants to construct a single, versatile plant-based bio-factory.

Key Findings and Breakthroughs:

Five Compounds in One Plant: The modified plant produces N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), psilocin, psilocybin, bufotenin, and 5-MeO-DMT.

Cross-Kingdom Engineering: The team, which included Janka Höfer, incorporated genes from various organisms—including mushrooms (Psilocybe cubensis) and the Sonoran Desert toad (Incilius alvarius)—into the tobacco plant, marking a significant advancement in cross-kingdom biosynthesis.

Artificial Intelligence Integration: The researchers utilized AlphaFold3, an AI tool for predicting protein structures, to identify and fix underperforming enzymes, resulting in a 40-fold increase in the production of 5-MeO-DMT.

Mapping the DMT Pathway: The study successfully completed the mapping of the plant-based DMT biosynthetic pathway from tryptophan.

Non-Natural Analogs: Beyond natural compounds, the engineered plant produced halogenated analogs of these molecules that do not occur in nature but have potential therapeutic applications.

Purpose and Implications:
The goal of this research is to create a sustainable and ethical alternative to traditional pharmaceutical production, which often relies on complex chemical synthesis or harvesting threatened organisms (like wild toads and mushrooms). By creating "trippy tobacco," the researchers hope to facilitate easier and more efficient production of compounds that show promise for treating mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

Limitations:
While successful, the current production yield is low compared to the source organisms, as the pathways compete for the same building blocks, and the technique (agroinfiltration) is intended for research-level, temporary production rather than permanent, inherited genetic modification.

God scrares God.:(;)

Fascinating indeed.

Scientists just discovered a new species of magic mushroom, Psilocybe ochraceocentrata, that appears to have shared a common ancestor with the popular Psilocybe cubensis some 1.5 million years ago.

When you think about magic mushrooms, you are likely thinking of Psilocybe cubensis, perhaps the most popular species. Where these fungi came from and how they evolved their psychoactive properties is somewhat of a mystery. But a newly discovered sister species could provide a clue.

In a new study published in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B, researchers describe Psilocybe ochraceocentrata, a magic mushroom found in Africa that is similar to P. cubensis but a unique species. The new species has been misidentified as P. cubensis or other mushrooms for years, but the new study suggests that the two species likely shared a common ancestor some 1.5 million years ago.

“Our study suggests that the evolutionary cradle of the world’s most famous magic mushroom may lie in Africa, where collections that were previously misidentified now represent a distinct indigenous species,” says Breyten van der Merwe, a Ph.D. student in chemical engineering at Stellenbosch University in South Africa and a co-author on the study. “New descriptions like these reveal both diversity and how little we still know about African fungi.”

Interestingly, both P. cubensis and P. ochraceocentrata rely on dung—whether from cattle, bison, goats, horses, or other animals—to spread their spores. The researchers used “museomics,” or genetic analyses of mushroom species already held in museums or other collections, to determine that the two species likely diverged some 1.5 million years ago.

That timing aligns with other “major ecological and faunal transitions,” including herbivore migrations from Africa to Europe and Asia, the researchers note in the study, suggesting that changes in the dung landscape may be related to the species’ split.

The study doesn’t answer how P. cubensis arose in the Americas. According to the authors, it’s possible that its ancestor crossed the Atlantic via atmospheric currents, insects or even ancient animal migrations, but more research is needed to say for sure.

“Future population genomic and demographic analyses will be key to testing these hypotheses and clarifying the species’ dispersal history,” the authors write.

My first batch of golden teachers got mold in them  green Trichoderma. And so the substrate was discarded. I am so  very careful as well. I hope the second batch will be ok.:( If I could buy them online I would and also DMT but the country I live in Australia is very very strict and so is my state. Pluss I have also been scammed online for around 4 grand when trying to buy psychedelics.

WTF never heard of mister beast really humans follow this guy? Why does that not surprise me. Don't sell your soul. Let one compete with one. In the end truth always finds a a way through all the bullshit and poop.

God dwells in you, as you, and you don't have to 'do' anything to be God-realized or Self-realized, it is already your true and natural state. ~Sri Ramana Maharshi.

It didn't because it always was and will be forever. Hard for a human mind to understand this. I have gone through this so many times in my head. You can not use human logic for this. That is why I have called it infinite magic even that fails to describe it.
